I'm loving hearing about the stories of the people of the early Church. I'm glad to hear that nobody was perfect - it gives me hope that God will lift me up. Thank you for sharing.
What a great podcast. I love that our leaders of the restoration were human and imperfect. I never related to Joseph Smith until I found out he made mistakes. Then I was able to see him as an imperfect person who the Lord qualified. How beautiful that God takes a weak human being and lifts them to where He needs them to be. I am learning so much and loving hearing from all of you. Thank you for sharing your testimonies and insights.
What a great comment: “I want to be like Jesus, but I identify with Peter.” Or John Bytheway’s comment that he identifies with Martin Harris-concerned about finances, friends, family issues, etc. It’s nice to bring everything back down to earth and our own personal experiences. We aren’t perfect, and it helps me to look at these figures in Church history and see their flaws as well as their triumphs.
I feel like these discussions get better every week! It’s like having a chance to go back to Institute again. Always enjoyable and interesting, often fascinating. Great topics and pertinent questions that always strengthen my testimony and enhance my understanding. Thanks so very much for doing this! Bless you all. ❤️
Dr. Griffiths thank you so much for sharing such incredible stories! The stories of Sally Heller Conrad and Mary Elizabeth Rollins Lightner and the accounts of seeing Joseph and Oliver with shining faces. That was really interesting! I also loved the descriptions of Moroni from David and Mary Whitmer. This was such a wonderful experience listening to you three. Thank you so much for sharing!
I agree! I am loving these. I like listening to the podcast but then I want to see everyone interacting and see what the guest looks like so I come here for the last bit. I have been recommending this to so many people!
Thank you so very much for sharing all your years of knowledge and Spirit. I look forward to your presentations every week. I often tell the Lord that I don't have the words to express my appreciation for all the resources that are at my fingertips to teach me more of His love and His Eternal plan.
I love listening as I do dishes and clean!! I need to sit and take notes. I would like to know what you are reading and the books that are spoke of. Not all the references but the good books to read.
Great job. I just wondered what happened to the items other than the plates. Joseph Smith said he returned the plates but that was not all that he had received from the angel.
Great lesson! Wasn’t aware of the 3 witnesses hearing Heavenly Fathers voice - so amazing! I wonder how many documented times/people have heard or seen the Father. (Not including the 2500 at the Bountiful Temple)
“Twas well observed by my Lord Bacon, That a little knowledge is apt to puff up, and make men giddy, but a greater share of it will set them right, and bring them to low and humble thoughts of themselves.”
Dr. Griffith a couple of times refers to the voice to the three witness as God the Father. It is my understanding that the "voice of the Lord" was the Savior. Please clarify. Thank you.
Thank you for another great podcast. We are so blessed to be able to use technology for good.
Thank you for this! There have been so many times I have felt that the Lord has answered me through your videos!
This is SO powerful! Thank you so much for this!

Wow. So much valious information helped me see that each person is important in the building of the great and marvelous work of God. Thanks a lot
Thank you for these stories
Thank you so much really appreciate these podcasts I have learnt so much.
Thank you!
Great job, there is always something to learn.
Mary Whitmer reminds me of Sariah. Both given a witness to the Lord sustaining then in their burdens, to bear then a little better.
