I just had two shipped to me for me and my wife and they are so cool. Heavy and well made. Top speed is 55 mph. They look cool, and ride nice. I would recommend. My wife is 5-2 and petite, so if your small or significant other is small you should probably get the 50 cc.
@@dylanjones7234 I wouldn't recommend. Legally most likely but I don't feel real safe doing 55 in a 70 especially with the wind shear from the big trucks. He'll driving a 59cc in a 45mph zone is just as bad. We are seen as a nuisance if we can't keep up with the flow of traffic and a mad trucker doing 80 I want nothing to do with.
Good video. Next time please hold a ruler up to the storage compartments so it is clear how big they are. Or you could hold up a commonly known item with a regular size like a computer tablet, credit card, soda can, etcetera.
Hate to say it but avoid TaoTao! Get a higher tier brand like Sym,Kymco, hell even a Wolf would last you longer. Your typical GY6 150cc engine can run well and long if good oil is used and valves are checked periodically. I'd say atleast 10,000 miles to 15,000 before any serious engine repairs need to be done.
@@Bert439 And if you don't take it over 35 MPH for the first hundred miles, and change the oil at 100, 200, and three hundred, then never go max speed until 2000 miles, and then change the oil every 700-800 miles, it will last seemingly forever. That's the proper way to break that engine in. Just nobody does it, then say they break down too easily, lol.
I live in an apartment complex. A neighbor had one People were constantly fucking with it. Knocking it over. Breaking the headlight. Turn signals. He ended up throwing it in the dumpster. LOL. I think he got in trouble for that. He had it three weeks.

This scooter is 🗑️. Tao Tao is 🗑️. I got mine damaged in multiple places. Missing screws and bolts to put it together. Dented rim, so the tire doesn't hold air, nicked up paint, cracked up piece that covers the hole in the trunk. 😭 I begged for the screws for 2 months and never did receive them. They sent me another trunk instead which was not what I asked for. Now I'm sitting with a broken down scooter and can't figure out what it wrong with it. Not to mention the handlebars locked up on me and I had to lay it down and damage one side of it. It's only 6mos old with 1900 miles. 😭🗑️
