Narrated Anas Ibn Malik رضي الله عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
الظُّلْمُ ثَلاثَةٌ فَظُلْمٌ لَا يَغْفِرُهُ اللَّهُ وظلم يغفره الله وَظُلْمٌ لا يَتْرُكُهُ اللَّهُ
"Zulm (Oppression, injustice) is of three types:
1) Oppression that Allah does not forgive,
2) Oppression that He does forgive, and,
3) Oppression that He holds off on.
فَأَمَّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذِي لا يَغْفِرُهُ اللَّهُ فَالشِّرْكُ، وَقال اللَّهُ
As for the oppression that He does not forgive, then that is Shirk (polytheism), as Allah says:
﴾إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ﴿
"Verily Shirk (polytheism) is a great Zulm (oppression, wrong-doing)..." [Luqmaan 31:13].
وَأَمَّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذِي يَغْفِرُهُ اللَّهُ فَظُلْمُ الْعِبَادِ لأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ رَبِّهِمْ
And as for the Zulm (oppression) that He forgives, then this is the Zulm (oppression) of the servants of their own selves in what is between them and their Lord.
وَأَمَّا الظُّلْمُ الَّذِي لا يَتْرُكُهُ اللَّهُ فَظُلْمُ الْعِبَادِ بَعْضِهِمْ بَعْضًا حَتَّى يَدِينَ لِبَعْضِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ

10 Things to escape Hell Fire:
1. Tauba: Repentance from heart.
2. Istagfar: Repentance from tongue.
3. Doing good deeds ( Salah, Fasting, Charity, etc)
4. Dua and Istagfar done by other believers for you.
5. Pain & sufferings in this world.
6. Azaab ul Qabar
7. Punishment and trials of the day of Judgment
8. Good deeds gifted by the loved ones( Dua, reciting Quran, Hajj, Umra Sadaqa etc)
9. Intercession of our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) on the day of Judgment
10. The Mercy of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى
You should've asked him: whose rights are first? Allah's, or the creation?
The Rights are of three types and injustice happens in those three types too.
1. Allah's Rights.
2. The created being's rights
3. The Nafs (self, soul) right.
And wrong-doing, injustice (zulm) happens in either of those three. Hence those who violated Allah's Rights will not come out of the Fire. Whereas the other two, are at His Mercy.
Shirk happens either in Lordship (Rububiyyah) or in Uluhiyyah (Worship).
This man is not invoking anything, but committing shirk in Lordship i.e making himself and the created beings into equals to Allah like a pantheist. That's a greater shirk than trinity or idol worship.
And disbelief in the Afterlife is ascribing shortcomings and deficiencies to Allah like injustice, creating the world with indifference, vain, falsehood until everyone vanishes with one another.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ
And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them with falsehood! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve! Then woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire! [Sad 38:27]
Ask him, does harry truman's victim get justice, or are they stardust in a nebula creating stars alongside his particles?
Hence why the one who committed shirk or said he will turn to dust and bones and vanish, has been forbidden Allah's Paradise.

Our claim is Islam is the religion from God, and as a package it contains all the known/unknown knowledge that will help humanity to pass the test of this world. Never it claimed to be scientific book of mathematical/physical etc theories.
Science is based on naturalism, meaning it is in itself contains contradiction, material tools are designed to study about material things can not study non-material things. IF reality composed of physical and metaphysical aspects, it means science starts with a wrong philosophical proposition that everything CAN be explained.

Tony very intelligent brother but he’s fear is setting trap for himself. That’s why he tend to avoid taking sides and he doesn’t say his Atheism or fundamental liberalism positions when he is actually his ideology in line of those.
It's interesting, Tony did not concede, disingenuously, that worldviews or systems of operations are principally dogmatic by nature because he wants the privilege to call other worldviews dogmatic, sitting on his high horse not wanting to acknowledge his frame of reference and lens of operation is dogmatic too. Taking the privilege of applying the word, which he acknowledges is negatively loaded, on specific worldviews but then ignores the descriptive definition of the term "dogmatism" encompasses many set systems of reference, even the various sources his utterances and ideas he purports. Tony wants to talk hypothetically all day but looks down on people who really take and follow through on the convictions of their beliefs and what they deem to be true, a stronger commitment.
And later, to move the conversation, the "red herring," he proposed a practical solution to things that are not mutually exclusive to what Suboor was saying but ultimately not addressing the heart of the conversation. Things can be useful and practical and still not be a true conception of reality. Tony is basically trying to wiggle out of any real religious consideration and replace it with, his subjective trial and error thing, and if that somehow is effective, if we can maximize this process, maybe it can answer a deeper truth. A very flawed concept of thinking. He is aware of this, but yet believes it is superior to the religions he deems dogmatic.
Interesting conversation nonetheless.
I'll save this guy some time. If you truly believe in God then you accept their are some absolute truths revealed by Him to us that can't be negotiated.
If you don't actually believe in God then you can come up with literally anything, agree with anything and disagree with anything regardless of what is absolutely true or not.
Almost all of his arguments, whether he is willing to admit it or not, can only have an impact if you have already accept the premise that religion is not actually from God. So if you say these things to somebody who believes religion truly is from God then you are more or less just talking to yourself.

The final part about god already knows all and 'programmed our actions' and so we have no 'free will', best way I would explain this, Allah(swt) has a Descriptive and not Prescriptive of all choices we will make and do with our free will, and the only few prescriptive would be , eg when/where we will be born, our parents etc.

@@scottholder4431 going to start by saying that's another question that kind of just assumes religion isn't real and is just trying to come up with reasons to argue against religion at any cost.
As for proving God is good, would that not be an impossible task? I mean he is infinitely wise so he could just fool us if he wanted right? It's futile to attempt such a task..
In any case the fact that he created us and we are able to achieve happiness to some degree is proof enough to believe God is good, otherwise why bother with any of this? If God were perfectly wise and bad wouldn't he just create things to torture them? I don't feel tortured and I'm sure many people don't either so what's that about?

@@scottholder4431 the whole point of the saying that God came to you outright was to say it was irrefutable. Otherwise there's actually no purpose for the hypothetical. But I guess I see that you might have missed that point.
So now, God comes and proves he is God irrefutably and says the most important thing is to worship him alone. What do you do with that?

Again, the literal meaning of hell being an eternal and endless is metaphor, but the helltime of the sinner is exactly long as his mischeif and crimes in live. The hell isn't eternal according to Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim, Qaradawi, Adnan Ibrahim and other scholars. Its also a classic view point. But the layman who never thought about the concept of eternity has no interest or idea, but scholars had alot to say about this subject and god has nothing to do with punishing anyone more than he did. Its all in the quran in the tens of verses. Quran says that hell or punishment is proportional to your bad deeds. But its only good deeds that god gives more than twice, thrice or ten folds. These are all verses in quran. The same thing is the concept of good non-believer to be in hell. No no one will end up in hell just for the only reason of non-believing god, but its that the ideologies, then actions and consequences of actions by this person are always to be measured. It happens that a sane adult person has a tendency or strong will of belief in one god according to many scientific researchs and the islamic point of fitra or innate disposition so the person with good level of iq knows already about a type of diety, but can be influenced and diverted by society. So, if he happens into disbelief that justifies injustice, bad moral actions, crimes and dispositioning the things from their rightful owners to unrightful owners i.e essence, categories or relationships then that is when you are in error. If you for example do actions like character assassinating a person, a friend etc, then its a sin though no physical harm, but harm anyways. The whole of the world is in this matrix and your actions are based about this belief so its difficult to be uninfluenced, innocent, then right with every point or the majority. Your morals need to be grounded in order to be balanced.
