Is this on 91 or 93 octane? Can 91 octane be used with Map5? Will it cause knocking or reduced power output? Great numbers I can't wait to get a JB4 for myself.
91 + gallons of e85. 91 can be used. generally e85 or octane booster to 93 levels will yield 10-15 hp and same with torque. E85 helps spools quicker and burns cooler
Hi, I've moved on from this car years now but it was AFE intake and 3 inch exhaust for this run. Later on I did do downpipes to a full 335i exhaust with the M Performance mufflers and full metal charge pipes with larger FMIC. That netted 290 WHP and over 300 ft/lbs of torque, so not much more. I also use the F80/F82 (M3/M4) spark plugs to help with timing but beware when you use JB4 or any tune, the spark plugs won't last more then 20-30K miles. The car always run a E85 mix to boost octane since I'm in California and only have 91 octane. Best mix for this car is 11 gallons of 91 or 93 then add the rest (3 gallons or so) with E85. I eventually broke that half shaft because of repeated launch control launch so beware, the 320i have thinner half shaft then the 35i and you are putting more then stock 35i torque to the wheels. Hope this helps.
@@thesaiyajinx8166 bro whats ur thoughts on a jb4 on a 320i n20, idk everyone has their own opinion some say it will blow while others have had no issues im not looking to race anyone, Im just hopeful to go from 184 to 240hp but not have any blown engines thats it lool
What parts have been changed and why are they so powerful?
So this will work on a 2014 F30 320i for the US market? Are there any modifications that are required or is it plug and play?
06acc did you ever chip your car. I got the same one and am curious on what kind of mods to make to it.
I just did the jb4 stage 2 in my 15 320i and u can feel the power 👍

Excellent thanks!
98+octane on any map above stage 1 260hp. So if you run 300hp 98+ if you run 260hp 95oct
What mods does this car have? I have the exact same car with vrsf dp, mst performance intake, and awe touring exhaust. Jb4 is on its way.

@@thesaiyajinx8166 ty for the reply bro I really appreciate it
@Ray August I've ran stage 2 91 Oct for like 2 years, if you keep up with maintenance and don't abuse it, you'll be fine
