Hey everyone, I would appreciate some prayers and healing sent our way, my daughter has been in ICU since 1st of November! She has been having seizures and they still can't pin point what is causing them, she has been sedated a lot of the time. She is only 4 years old, our 1st born, our princess, our ray of light ❤ we are praying for our bright, intelligent, funny, caring, beautiful girl to come back to us soon
I have noticed you being extra hard on yourself and comparing yourself to others lately in your videos. All you can do is your best, and your kids and family will know and appreciate that you’re doing your best even if it’s not perfect!
KIM, I have been having them really hard overwhelming brain fog kinda days later too. I dont know what it is but we are strong and we will get through it
My children are 47, 44, and 33 years old. And if I don't hear from them when I think I should have I know something happened to them ❤ You NEVER get over worrying about them❤
Kim I hate to say this but you never stop worrying about your kids, and then when they have kids, you worry about your grandkids in addition. It is very busy with all the activities for the kids but they are Engaged in life and that is a very good thing. You are the woman across the room, you are so special to all the people you reach with your videos!!❤️❤️❤️
I'm 43, and my mattress is on the floor. 😂 It's not the end of the world. They have a bed, they are safe, they are loved, they are fed. You're doing a great job!
I love that you said “life happens but things still need to be done” my daughter has pneumonia and has been in the hospital for three days now. Her father and I are running back and fourth from the hospital as well as taking care of our 2 other kids. Very exhausting. This video really helped me take 45 mins to tidy up my house and get dinner in the crockpot before heading back to the hospital. Thank you for the motivation! Your videos help me every week ❤
Yes! My 3 are in their 30s, and they have 30 something problems. I'm trying to remember what it was like for me in my 30s and how I made it through on my own as they will.
Girl you are super mom. With the amount of kids you have. I mean I couldn’t even imagine how you do it. I have two kids and I feel like I am drowning some days. You are doing great. Don’t criticize yourself because them babies are so lucky to have you as a mother.
Yay! 🤸♀️Time to go join Kim and the Party People🎉 for another fun filled episode of cooking, cleaning and good housekeeping. 🌻 Watching you Kim...keeps me motivated and upbeat...❤❤❤
just go to IKEA for beds and then you can buy all your Christmas stuff too ;-) there's a meme: if you lose a sock in your washingmachine/dryer it comes back as a tupperware lid that doesn't fit anything ;-) don't forget to breath Kim
Kim my son is 21 and I wonder all the time if he’s ok. He’s very independent and stays out of trouble but the worry never goes away. Thank goodness for Jesus cause I’m not omnipresent like Jesus is and can watch over him 24/7 🥰 💕🙋🏻♀️
Girl, you are in the easy stage!! When they grow up, you worry even more!! They start driving and that’s a huge worry every time they leave the house, then they move out and you worry… are they eating, are they paying their bills??? Omg, it never ends! Slow down and take in the season you are in. You’re a great mom!! ❤
Morning, beautiful! NOOOOO! The worry does NOT let up as they get older. As for me, the worry gets worse. Oh, and wait until the grandchildren come along. 😬🤦♀️
Hey girlfriend! Sorry to say, it doesn’t go away. I always say, the moment you become a parent, you will never have another peaceful night’s sleep again. 😩Mine are in their mid 20’s and it’s still going strong.
In my opinion it’s worse now. Mine are 29, 22, 20, almost 14 and almost 12. On top of that the 3 grandkids are 10, almost 6 and almost 2. My intrusive thoughts went away for a long time but they are back. It’s ridiculous. 😊
My first concert was Madonna, can’t remember if it was 82 or 84 but it was outside and I went with my older sister, it started to rain and people were leaving in droves so we got to move all the way up so close to the stage and she sang and danced in the rain, it was amazing! My last concert was Pink and I will go every year if she tours, love her so much. Wish I knew about Alanis touring love her
In August my daughter and I brought my 7 and 8 year old grandkids to the Alanis concert which included Joan Jett and another female country singer that I can't remember her name, but the kids really rocked out to Joan Jett, lol, and when Alanis sang , it turned into a giant sing along with thousands. Really special.
I totally understand when you have all the noise in your head!!! I find it hard to purchase furniture too. I think because it’s permanent, meant to last and you can’t really screw it up. I feel ya girl!
Life has gotten so busy, I rarely get to have time for youtube, but you are a must have! You make such real and relatable content I could not miss it! ❤
My first concert was New Kids on the Block, with 3 friends, my mom, and my friend's mom. The last concert I attended was with my mom, who I lost almost 3 years ago, and it was Adam Lambert.
Ciao Kim, i rarely have time to comment the videos but I wanted to take the time today to say that I love your videos and thank you for being a friend. It means a lot for many reasons. Love you so much and wishing you all the best to your sweet family too. ❤
Don’t be so hard on yourself, you are a great mom. 5 kids are a lot of work, you don’t have to be perfect. Your kids won’t remember every little thing when they grow up. You try so hard every day, that’s what they will remember, you being there for them, not if all the laundry was folded and if the floor was spotless. You are doing great and you are raising wonderful children ❤
You are amazing woman. Never doubt yourself. My first concert was with my sister at Disney (Sister Sledge, SOS Band, and a ton of other bands) and my last concert was with my husband in Charleston WV and we saw James Taylor. Nothing but the best baby!!
Kim I was thinking about your laundry room, which I think is amazing BTW. I wonder if it might save you some extra steps if you hung a rod between your cabinets. Kids can gather empty hangars from their closets and bring them to the laundry room. Then, as you are sorting clothes, add clothes that go on hangars while you sort, then just drop them off in the closet! Also, if you need clothes before they go to their rooms, you can easily see them on the hangars in the laundry room… just an idea! ❤
Great idea. If the kids can keep up too. Children are young and she might have the bring the hangers in herself which add another job same as the obvious one( hang them up in the room later). To me it’s just the stage of life she’s in. I was there once and it does change significantly with time.
They never go away. Only gets worse with age. Sorry to be a debbie downer but I am a worry wart too. I worry before I need to worry all the time. Keep you chin up. ❤❤❤❤
My first concert i was 8 and saw Willie Nelson with my nana my second concert was when my oldest was 8 (she turns 18 on 12/4) and my mom and i took her to see Loretta Lynn those are the only 2 ive ever been to.
Prepare yourself, dear mother, for the middle school and high school years. You’ll need to dig deep. I had it pretty easy looking back but it was a wee bit stressful. You’ll do it!! And look back and be forever grateful.
Re: worry. The absolute worst worry I have had as a parent is when my 16 yo new driver drove away solo for the first time. I MEAN!!! 😫 Buuuuut, my advice: 1. Apple “find my” feature is a life saver. Teen annoyed that mom is “tracking them”. But, everyone in the family can see everyone and if something goes wrong we can get to each other quickly. Annnnd it keeps you from having to call me when you get everywhere and be embarrassed. 😝 2. As they get more experience under their belt, it does subside.
Kim, I hate to say this but the intrusive thoughts never go sway! My daughter is 34 and has my 2 little grandsons and I still have to call her even when she lives 5 minutes or less to be sure they get home! I e always been this way though and this unhinged world we live in makes it worse! I feel a little better when I know I’m not the only one! Watching you makes me happy !❤️❤️🙏🙏
38:12 🤣 Also, I know exactly what you mean about worrying about kids when they’re away. Ugh. For what it’s worth, you seem so chill and laid back about your kids. I never would have guessed, and while I’m sorry you struggle with it too, thanks for making me feel less alone in my worrying!!
Just living from the clothes from the laundry room is real... and it also tells you that most of the things in your closet are probably unnecessary since you just wear the same things over and over. Time to simplify and make your life easier!
Oh Kim, I feel you about school choices!! I’m in the UK and here, in most places, you just have primary school and secondary school. The move to secondary os obviously the big one and the amount of thought/stress/hope/planning that went into my 11 yo going to the best school for her was incredible. I’m sure you’ll arrive at the right decision, keep going!
Aww Kim honey, you need a list. I can't function without them. Lists for everything. Shopping lists, cleaning lists, to do lists, work lists. It's so satisfying when you cross things off, and anything that's less important gets pushed to the next day. 😊
I had the same feeling with my son. My feelings were always spot on. My son is now 22 and he asks me "but mum how do you know?", when I call him out of the blue to check in. Also when you check in, maybe they look fine physical, emotionally it may be a whole other matter. ❤
You are such an amazing Mom!!! Love how you prepare your meals & your so involved with your children. What is the name of the bags you are using? Thank you for sharing!
Last concert was just this past October, my sis and I went and saw HANSON!! We Mmmbopped our hearts out! It was fantastic. Only took 27 years to see them live. 😂 My 11 year old self would be so jealous!
Overstimulated & overwhelmed & busy i get it current status 🥴your doing great!❣️ one thing at a time....u will never stop worrying😫....YaY to the kiddos on all their achievements🎉👏🏾👏🏾
My first concert was Loverboy and The Hooters in the 80s and my last concert was earlier this month and was Shaboozy and Jelly Roll. Both were excellent experiences, going to enjoy live music is so underrated.
My sister’s twins birthday was 12/23. They had a small family celebration on the day. She opted for the big party at the six month mark in June. It worked out fantastic. The kids always enjoyed a party in the early summer. Just passing this idea on to you since you have so many birthdays near the holidays.
First concert was Lionel Richey at a 4th of July festival. Last concert was Stagecoach 2024 . Favorite concert was Garth Brooks at Petco park San Diego !! AMAZING .
I need to start doing some freezer meals, and these looked really good. All your recipes end up in my kitchen and they’re so good always love it when you’re cooking.
Kim buy chopped frozen onions, frozen carrots, frozen peppers, it will make your meal prep so easy frozen is as good as fresh, I even freeze fresh celery, I chop it up first and bag a cup in each little freezer bag 😁 I live on my own and I batch cook for my self in small plastic cartons. I opt for frozen veg sooooo much easier 😁💐❤
Just at the right time! I have decided this week is the week I meal prep freezer meals for my very soon-to-come postpartum! So happy to do it! Big pot of bolognese ragu bubbling rn, made chickpea and coconut milk curry yesterday! Such an exciting time! 😀
Thank you for the 25% off! I signed up for my 2 older boys. We have a Homeschooling curriculum but this is going to be a great addition. PLUS, you can customize by your state and make sure you're meeting/exceeding standards.
Yes, it gets worse when worrying about your kids when they're young! Then they get older & get married & some come back home etc. Anyway I was getting so sick myself about the worrying I had to stop & let some of it go! Yes, I still worried, but if it wasn't a life & death situation, then I let them figured it out for themselves. Also if they kept doing things over & over & it didn't matter to them if we helped or not! So just take things in stride & you don't have to have everything perfect & all done at a certain time etc! Just do you best & that's good enough! Your kids sounds like they have a good head on their shoulders so It'll be good! Take care! Have a great weekend! Happy Thanksgiving!❤️☺️🫂🐾🦃🎄🤶🏻🎅🏻🌬☃️❄️✨️
I’d love to see bedtime routine you have in your home! Especially your 2 year old 🥹 our oldest is 2 1/2 and I’m having such a hard time because I think I just miss him when he goes to bed and feel sad that he misses out on time with us, but also selfishly know my husband and I need time in the evening too 😅 helpppppp
The worry never goes away! My kids are all grown with families of their own and as a mom I still worry about them! And now I have grandkids that I worry about too! Lol
Mom of four here ! About to challenge myself to how many Christmas gifts can I get wrapped while watching Kim's new video haha ! I used your idea of giving each a tote for each kids gifts and that it so so much easier to keep track of this year !!
Kim, you’re doing a fabulous job. I know things get stressful sometimes, but like you said. So one percent better than the day before. My first concert was Stevie B, and my last concert was Bush. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🦃❤️❤️❤️
Freezer meals are great. And you know they will be very tender and very tasty. I myself think one of the best inventions ever is the slow cooker. Do you like cooked cabbage Kim? Lazy Cabbage Roll casserole is great it is one we do up in the large roasting pan. Then put it in containers and freeze it. Then all you need is warm it up. Thank you very much for all you do Kim. And Thank-you for being a great friend
Sorry Kim, i haven’t realized. Last few videos i said ya ya declutter your closet, declutter your garage so it can make the holiday season better and for the upcoming birthdays but i didn’t realize you are already overly overwhelmed and exhausted plus you have those priorities (holidays and birthdays) to do so push the declutter for the new years if you want or film it after birthdays are done and thanksgiving. But I’m so impatient and excited for the decluttering videos
So glad you talked about IXL again as I plan on getting that for my girls for Christmas (with your link, of course :) ). Laughing with your last comment - "just over here gagging on my buggers" I feel you, as my allergies have been gagging me for the past week. Also, just rest assure as a mother you will always worry if your kids are ok - there is no time limit. It just comes with the territory and sometimes all you can do is send up prayers for their safety.
Great video Kim! Lol, I can relate with those pesky irrational thoughts 😂. They don’t get easier with age. I’m 62, my kids are grown, and I still have them 🤦🏻♀️😂. I guess it’s just part of going through life and being a mom ☺️. I love hearing about how well the kids are doing, bless them 😁👍🏻. Hope you have a wonderful day today!🕊️
Good morning Kim! I hope you have a wonderful day! You are the lady across the room for me. You inspire me! ❤❤ my first concert was a “Mayjah Rayjah” i am from Maui, Hawaii. Concert names are a little different here. lol
Sometimes I do get overwhelmed that I just sit and stare into space eventhough I have a million things that I need to do. Sometimes I just don't know where to start.😅

I know someone who’s child had been having seizures and is was narrowed down to a gluten allergy. The child also has a red dye allergy
I will absolutely pray for your sweet girl and your family 💕
Prayers 🙏 for the Doctors to get to the bottom of her condition and why it's happening, peace for your family as it must be so stressful x
God bless you all. We'll definitely be praying for her. It's so heartbreaking when it's your child. 🙏
Just prayed for her and sending a hug for you!❤
I have noticed you being extra hard on yourself and comparing yourself to others lately in your videos. All you can do is your best, and your kids and family will know and appreciate that you’re doing your best even if it’s not perfect!

You are right about that! I giggle sometimes when she says “one day….” And I’m like ummm, no. 🤭 Bless her heart. Lol
I'm 43, and my mattress is on the floor. 😂 It's not the end of the world. They have a bed, they are safe, they are loved, they are fed. You're doing a great job!
Just be careful mattress on the floor can create mold underneath. Happened to me years ago.
@CityThatWeLove I will check! It's a temporary situation, I've just been lazy.
@@CityThatWeLovemood or mold? 😂

That’s awesome!!!
Did she clean her closet?

Just at the right time! I have decided this week is the week I meal prep freezer meals for my very soon-to-come postpartum! So happy to do it! Big pot of bolognese ragu bubbling rn, made chickpea and coconut milk curry yesterday! Such an exciting time! 😀
First concert Van Halen last concert Rammstein I'm 60 years old lol xoxo
My first concert was Hillary Duff! ICONIC 😊
Dang! You’re getting stuff done! Go, Kim go!❤
Thank you for the 25% off!
And as usual I am drooling about your outside kitchen!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kim you do so very much every minute of the day maybe you need to give your self some grace. You’re the best mom I know.
It really is a fantastic tool!!!
I’m so proud of your children. Awesome video Kim you this Girl Friend ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Last concert I went to was June 2024 - AJR. Best concert ever!
Its called the other pipe because your throat has two sections! Food /liquids go one way, air goes down the other
Kim, just a tip for freezer meals. I'd leave the raw potato out until you cook the meal. They can get mushy if frozen raw.
MY FIRST ONE WAS BRYAN ADAMS! IT WAS AWESOME! NEXT WAS BON JOVI. CAMPED OUT OVERNIGHT TO GET TICKETS FOR THAT ONE. ALSO AWESOME.
I’m going to add IXL to my kids homeschool ❤️ Thanks!
My first concert was Spanky and Our Gang and the Mamas and the Papas! I'm really old!
Last concert, lol.😁.1991 The Judds Farwell Tour and an {unknown} Garth Brooks opened for them.
Kim, You're the best Mom..... Watch out for the carrots..theres a recall out.. I threw mine away yesterday...
I was wondering the same. My son is 2 and I still hear the phantom crys.
Our sons are 26 and 22, both married, but you still worry and tell them to be careful when they leave your house.😅
Always love your videos. So fun and inspiring
Kim you are inspiring. Are you planning to shred the chicken after it cooks?
Literally made the sausage one for dinner tonight while watching you do it. Dinner done!
My first concert was The Tragically Hip and my latest was Shania Twain, both Canadian icons! 🇨🇦
