    Just plugged mine. Very good and one of the rare wireless over-ear open headphones. I like the fact that you can remove the mic as I don't need it.
    Lets see how it holds in time because TB is not renewed for durability...
    Very good and very complete review BTW. Honestly one of the best IMHO. Upvoted.

    Excellent review. My understanding though is that this headset isn't compatible with an Xbox wirelessly, only wired. Also this is the first review of dozens that complained about the seam or a headache, so might just be your headshape and not something they need to fix.

      @@Belgarath777 I should be clearer then; headaches came after 6-8+ hours of continuous use (mostly relevant for hardcore gamers and the like)... for which I outline 2 possible solutions. Buy'em and try'em! The headache challenge, lol!

    Nice job! Lots of talking points, you mentioned that you would not install swarm ll and i remember someone else saying this on reddit, does this solve the low volume issue? This is the biggest reason i sent them back, i just could not hear foot steps very well in my completive games. I also seen, that you can choose not to install the waves 3d, at least at launch it was a separate pop up window asking if you wanted to install it and i thought at the time, i guess? I also didn't know at the time from reddit that this is the problem for a lot of its issues, also in sound settings you can turn off audio enhancements that supposedly works also. So my question is, do you think its worth another shot to try them with just not installing the swarm software like you said for higher volume? Thanks in advance!

      @@Amp_Edition the volume was at a good level before installing Swarm II. But since you can't use Swarm II without updating firmware, you won't have access to super human hearing (for footsteps). The problem might actually be the Wave 3d driver, but I remember swarm not working unless you install this too. If you can live without superhuman hearing, I think these are good headsets. Otherwise (if it were me and I needed the footsteps setting), I'd probably wait until I was sure the big was fixed.

      @@Amp_Edition another thought; swarm II is new software so it's a work in progress. They're still developing it, so you're bound to come across bugs for some time still.

    I got the headset and I’m using it wired for Xbox but the flip to mute doesn’t work. Is there any other way to mute the mic?

    • @FirstL00k
      @FirstL00k  17 дней назад +1

      @@fancypants989 that's not good - personally, I'd return/exchange it as quickly as possible. The only other way I can think of is to use swarm 2 software to mute/unmute. But it's a hassle to do it that way.

    I’m guessing u don’t need mic monitoring to hear urself speak with this headset, right?
