Human beings will fail you, even so called Christians in church are flawed, sometimes you might fail you, but Jesus Christ will never abandon you. Just trust in Him
Every single person fails, but it is still nice to have someone to talk to, the Lord wants us to speak to Him, especially during those times when we have no one else. God bless

Jesus is not them, remember that. He is never failing and tender hearted with Grace. I too have had church hurt, but that hurt wasn't from God, it was from others sin and lack of realizing what they're doing. & God can heal us with his never ending love.

I was struggling for YEARS with being hurt by certain people from church and let it cause either resentment or anger because I trusted that they were my friends and really cared about me because they always SAID so but then I realized they rarely DO anything to show it. So when certain things happen like for one example someone just stopped talking to me completely out of the blue and we were pretty good friends I thought. So it was difficult to keep going to that church because something in me was so disturbed and distracted that how can I or anyone be comfortable going to church and have people or a person who sees you in a negative way or done anything negative towards you and you may run into them and have to be fake towards each other acting cordial and friendly but in our mind and thoughts we know it's a problem between us. I couldn't keep going knowing that and wondering how are we gonna be in here talking about love and goodness and peace and forgiveness especially towards people who dont know God but yet dont do it towards our own at the same church we attend. If church attendance or membership is just that and not what its supposed to be which is we supposed to be like family right and really care about each other at least. So i thought I could still walk the Christian walk without church and dont need to go to church to have relationship with God but that didnt end up happening. I had stopped going to church but it harmed me to backslide completely and my relationship with God became disconnected. Years later now I have the desire and heart to want to go back to church and go regularly and faithfully to commit to as long as it's the right one I even hope to go back to the one I was going and become a regular member there even if the person who had or has a problem with me is still there but I'm willing to forgive reconcile and make peace even if their not but I dont want to let them or anyone or anything else stop me from being there especially if God leads and directs me to be there. I just hope all goes good and God makes a way and helps me be accepted at that church if I'm meant to be there as its already hard for me to as it's a mostly Hispanic dominated bilingual church and it's not alot of black people there like me, not that that matters because it dont and I have lived around Hispanics all my life literally I just don't know Spanish yet. But the main point is I dont want to let imperfect people and imperfect things and imperfections in me and my life be the reason I stop going to church because that's not a good reason at all because just because we get saved and hopefully delivered from sinful living and becoming true believers and Christians that don't mean we are perfect and gonna do everything perfect the rest of our lives, that's what I think alot of people in church and in the world and nonbelievers think and expect but that's unrealistic. As long as the church is a true Christian gospel bible believing holy spirit filled church under the obedience of God and they are striving to doing things right in every way that's what matters but we as individuals have to transform our minds to understand it doesn't mean it wont be flaws and mistakes made at all. Now if it is all the time in every way with every one then maybe that's not really the church at all because remember the church is not a building its the people!

Woow I so relate to this, and believe so many others too. I pray we find our church community/family, forgive, and do our best to help others overcome their hurt as well. The enemy does not want us to forgive or be unified, because he knows how powerful the body of Christ is when they stand together. Praying for all of us to forgive and have authentic community ♡♡♡♡
