  • Tasha is a great artist, but her story makes her music even more powerful. She shared a stage with Katy Perry. She battled depression and suicide. But ultimately Tasha found peace in the God who guided her steps as a young girl. Her journey back to faith is a great reminder of how God relentlessly and passionately pursues each and every one of us.

But there *is* scripture that directs:
'Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,
    “Awake, O sleeper,
    and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you'
    ~Ephesians 5:11-14~
It's okay to admit giving yourself over to the desires of your flesh [in your season touring with KP] - God is indeed a gracious, merciful and redeeming Savior - but don't conflate that Truth with positioning the decision to tour [with KP] 'a calling from God' / His will vs. freewill and gratifying the flesh in that season.
