www.electricali... Installing pendant fixtures in a building that are in a line requires you to be dead set on your measurements. With variations in the walls and floors one of the best ways to be accurate is by using a laser level.As you can see in the video the laser level does a good job of accuracy.

I bought a horizontal line leveler almost a year ago an its one of my better buys. dont need to worry if slop in floor for Lts or box's. Run level conduit with no level. pipe stays in perfect line. other trades look twice when u box out with line leveler.

Yes using a string will work as long as you don't have obstructions interfering with the string.In this example I had conduit and duct work to contend with so I used the string on the floor and then the laser to hit my mark.

Hey thanks for watching my videos! Depending on how deep you want to go w/ dirty vs clean power it could be as simple as running an isolated ground wire and using a iso grd outlet. Could be quite complex too utilizing clean power system management. I see what I can do.

Nice Job... Lazer level is a gift in its own, I can remember hanging flourecent lights down a long factory floor from chains... Oh the horror a low celling and it was like a rollercoaster. Nice looking light fitting wish we had those over here...

Would this level be capable of projecting a line onto the ceiling for proper alignment of in ceiling speakers?
