Oh, boy! When we made your basket, I bought 4 skeins of Wool Ease. I can use the extras here Ree. 😁
Perfect! 😃
Ok…how addictive is this new pattern? 😊 I need to get more yarn (oh darn!) 😂 I like longer scarves. I used Hometown. What a delightful brain 🧠 break from my cardigan test project. Thank you Jayda & Mr InStitches! Have a fabulous Friday, and a wonderful weekend. 💜💕
Hi Su! We're so happy to hear that 😁 Have a great week!
Would be easier to see and follow with a solid color yarn. The finished ladder would be more visible too. You explain things so well. I will definitely try this pattern! 😊
Hi Barb! Thank you for watching! 🍂
Love this pattern. I have so much sz 6 chunky yarn...now I know what to do with it!
Perfect! Thank you for watching! 🍂
Oh Jayda! It is so beautiful!!
Thank you Sylvia!
Oh it's Beautiful
Thank you!
Another great tutorial, now I know what to do with the thick and quick yarn I just frogged from a chevron blanket that I didn't not finish and will not finish because it is wonkey and I have frogged twice.😊
A great use for that yarn...and a way faster project!
Looks so nice and cozy!!!! 😀😀‼️🌈
"Tis the season to be cozy, eh Princess Frances! 😁

Hi Jayda! I really enjoyed your vintage beret pattern. I wish you showed us more!😊
Thank you! That was a fun pattern, we'll definitely try a few more of my old patterns at some point, they're fun to do!
Love it 🎉🎉 ty❤
Thank you for watching 😊
Jayda, Wow!! Not a big fan of bulky yarn, but love how your scarf came out. I will have to get some of this yarn next time I am out shopping and give this scarf pattern a try. Thanks.
Hi Cynthia, it's a lovely quick make 😁
Hey Jayda!, very nice!!! Looks beautiful n complicated but sooooooo easy to mane this!! Thanks for the tutorial!!!! ❤️
Thank you so much Val 😊
Looks great . Love the colors.❤
Thank you, me too! 🤗

Have fun Yvonne!
Happy Friday . Love this scarf and can’t wait to learn
Thank you! Enjoy the project 😊
WOW! Just so happened that I bought this particular yarn the other week!! Going to have some fun!!
Fantastic!
Very cool pattern. Wish I could find 6 in cotton bamboo
That would be lovely! I wonder if there would be a big enough market for it?
Beautiful, Jayda!
Thank you so much!
Thanks Jayda. Can you make a matching beanie too please?
Thank you for the suggestion! 🍂
I have to get ahold of some hometown because I’m one of the allergic ones but it looks like I’ll add this to my list !!!!
It's lovely yarn, has a really nice weight to it!
Gonna make a headband to match yeah
Lovely idea!
Cozy!
Also for anyone wanting to use Hometown, Unless something has changed, it only has 64yards per skein So you'll have to get more balls if you want the same length
Great tip Ms. Rabbit, the Hometown we have access to are the really enormous skeins, so maybe the offer it in 2 sizes!
Love your scarf. Just needed to ask where can I get a needle Just like yours. The one you use to hide the tails of yarn. 😊
Hi Cynthia, I use wool needles, they're usually sold in sets of 3 and they're generally sold anywhere yarn is. I've seen them at Walmart and also on Amazon recently 😊
@JaydaInStitches thank you so much for the information. I really appreciate it. Thank you for the response. It really says alot.
😍😍😍😍😍
😊
I’ve already got mine done!! Now I need a hat to match! Thank you Jayda! Do you have a hat pattern to match scarf?
Fantastic Becky! We don't have a matching hat pattern, but that's a lovely idea!
I tried making a pattern but I couldn’t get it right. So ended up just doing one of your regular patterns
Now I need to see if I have bulky yarn. If not would 2 strands of 4 wait work
I would recommend 3 strands of size 4 held together, especially to approximate this particular bulky weight yarn as it's very thick 💗
Question: Do you know why it's called "Jacob's Ladder" stitch?
It has to do with the dream Jacob had when he was fighting with his brother Esau. The ladder stretched from earth to heaven. Genisis 28:12 Eventually, the stich was developed and is used as a symbol of this ladder. At least, this is how I understand it to be.
I wondered if Jayda knew...
Hi Dawson, I really don't know, but Angdom's suggestion sounds very plausible. Some stitch patterns are obviously named for their appearance, and others are named for someone or a place or an event. And many stitches are known by different names, it would be fun to know where they all come from!
Dear jayda,
What size hook do you use and what yarn do you use.
Hi Susan, that info is always in the video, right after the introduction 💗
Oh I don't need another project but I wanna. Lol George 🐈⬛ agrees I don't need another WIP as he stepped on my phone and turned off the video and stuck his booty in my face. 😑 Cats...
"pay attention to this" 😂
Starves
Any other yarn i can use
What's a Size 6 yarn please? I live in South africa. I don't understand American terminology when it comes to wool
14 ply yarn or super bulky. 5-6mm thick
Thank you for helping out 💗
