The engine of this bus reminds me of the new flyer d40lf in Chicago.
It's the same model
And another New Flyer bus in Phoenix.
Great video I love it when dis model was with the Orion 6.
We have that exact same sound for the 2010s.
I really like the D60LFs. Shame I’ve only ridden on two though.
There are 53 of them so there is plenty of opportunities to ride them in Ottawa.
OC Transpo History Definitely! Although I’m more interested in riding an LFS once they go into service.
Yeah! I also love riding the D60LFs too! Too bad the ones with the DD S50 got transferred to another transit company in Canada and the U.S.
@@newflyerindustriesfan2216 i believe 15 of them got transferred to Saint Louis and was repowered with ISL-9
The engine sounds like an ISM rather than an ISL based on the RPM pitch.
It's an ISL.
You filmed this 3 AM in the morning!!
What's with the little checkmark on the display that pops up every now and then?
Stop request. When the bell is rung, the NSAS will display a checkmark confirming that a stop request has been made. The feature was implemented for improved accessibility.
Reminds me of 2010 D60LFR with ISL9 for some reason
Are these the ones now in St Louis, MO USA?
That would be our older 04 and under models. Those have a Detroit diesel s50 engine. The one shown here is an Cummings ISL
i much prefer the de60lf's for their sound
