That sure brings back memories of my teens and 20's riding these buses all the time! I always loved hearing the turbo whistle and those howling drive axles!
This one sounds just like the 1997 model New Flyer Big Blue Buses that traveled around Santa Monica and the Westside of Los Angeles. Brings back many fond memories.
Sounds a lot like our 1995-1999 d40lf over here in Vancouver before retirement. Now only a handful left of the cummins versions built in 2000-2001. Sad
@@Heyo_Souluxy It's my bus. They were parked April 3rd, 2020 when Calgary Transit reduced service due to Covid 19. They were slated to be retired with the arrival of the 2019/2020 Nova LFS CNG buses, however with Stoney being closed down, this bus, along with the remaining 7600's from the 1996 and 1999 order were slowly starting to be sent for scrap starting in June 2021. 3 others survive as well (7620, 7638, and 7680) with Lake Louise Ski Hill as their shuttle service. Mine is, and most likely the only one that will end up in private hands from Calgary Transit

The authentic sounds of the Series 50 before the EGR is soulful and organic 😎
Such a fantastic sound.
I miss hearing this sound on the streets of Regina also update as of now 601 and 608 have been retired replaced by 2101 and 2102 the artics
That's how Flint MTA's oldest units sounded like before they were retired and replaced with Gillig LF 40ft CNG units.
LOL
LOL GCRTA is auctioning off their coaches with this engine, after they have punched a hole in the block.
