  • The Flashback from Stealth Cam uses a short-duration Xenon white flash to capture night shots in full color. It also takes some excellent day time images. I test it out completely in this video.

Hey Duane! I had some time away from work to sit down and catch up on your videos. Just like other pieces of hunting equipment, trail cameras have come a long way! A lot more companies making them and that in turn drives each of them to "raise the bar" on improving them! Sadly though, some states (Iowa for one) are banning the use of Cell trail cameras for hunting use (and regular trail cameras). And let me re-state "FOR HUNTING USE", this does not affect those non-hunters using them for poacher surveillance or using them for protecting property. It seems using them gives the hunters an unfair advantage and the DNR deems it "not fair chase". Funny how this issue pops up AFTER companies have sold millions of cameras. Anyway, just wondering what your thoughts were on this. I, fortunately, live in a state where we can still use trail cameras.

Yeah I’ve read about some states banning them. I’m against banning them, personally. I can sort of understand where they are coming from if people are using them on instant transmission mode and they get pop-up alerts when deer are headed their way. That could be a bit of an unfair advantage and a bit lazy, but last I checked, this is a free country. It seems government wants to regulate (and over-regulate) everything. As long as hunters are staying within the rules, being ethical and respect the game, they should be able to use them (in my opinion). 👍🏻

Those saturated day pictures would stop me from buying this $160 camera. Thank you for the warning.
