I've taken around 17 maker pen classes and I do have to admit the Maker Pen UI isn't beginner friendly. If you want to get into building and becoming a circuiteer I'd recommend taking a class as it helps a ton!

My internet is garbage so I just pressed buttons and just figured it out, DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW TO REC ROOM THEY MOVE AT 2 MILES PER HOUR BRO. There was a video on how to use dome lights, the video was 10 minutes long and they spent the first 7 minutes showing you where it is in the makerpen bro
I am all self-taught so far, and unfortunately, I don’t have discord, so I can’t even take classes even if I wanted to, the only reason I’m building in Rec Room is for (possibly) early fame (if I get advanced enough) and for early experience to be able to build real games in the future. And the circuits aren’t the type of code you’d usually use to build a game, so it’s not really worth taking a bunch of classes for it when I should be learning Python and possibly C++ later on.

I must say I didn’t enjoy the new maker pen in the start, but now that I have played around with it for a while, I am actually beginning to like it. I do still miss the old one. ;(
Agreed, but the Rec Room watch UI updates are getting super out of hand, just keep it simple for everyone to be able to understand without making them learn it over and over and over and over again.
What I like about the new UI:

I agree with the home menu,but I actually got more used to the new one than the old one.

Another thing about the message ui, if you create a group chat and you want to remove someone,you can’t. They just stay in the chat unless they leave.

I like the maker pen ui you learn over time it’s really easy to build when figured out
Yeah, but the fact they keep switching their UI’s (especially the watch UI) is getting very frustrating, just keep it simple, don’t make it so advanced and don’t make everyone learn how to use it all over again *4* different times lol.
And if you are going to switch it up, at least add a “Legacy Makerpen” option or a “Legacy Watch” option. Would be a big life saver.

As a CV2 circuiteer, I love having all of the UI out at once, makes my CV2 a stream lined experience
