I just wanted to say that as a survivor of SA your videos made me cry because you’re so gentle and asking for consent it made me actually cry. I’ve been using your videos to feel comfortable again with male voices and attention and it’s been working. I feel less stressed around men and I’m affirming my boundaries.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My husband and i both suffer from PTSD sleep is a treat but since listening to you im getting more and more hours added. From 2 to 6 even 8. Now. My husband even said we are getting back to our old selves joking laughing again. I never knew ASMR was even a thing until recently and took me a bit to find the perfect fit. Because of PTSD from childhood SA, I cannot listen to male ASMR. There are two exceptions to that rule and you are one of them. Your videos are particularly helpful when I’m in an especially rough depressive episode. Thank you.

This is sheer relaxation. Only downside was, i fell asleep 💤 rather quickly and the screen startled me because dropped from my hands and fell onto my nose. 😅 Second attempt

Like many on this thread, I too am a survivor of SA, and it’s been a long time since I had a bed partner. Others comments make me realize your ASMR is making me feel safer too.
This vid also reminds me of when my childhood best friend and close cousin used to crawl in bed with me when we were little and I had nightmares. He was eldest, always tasked with babysitting, and was the best surrogate brother a girl could ever have.
Joe would brush my hair and talk softly until I was asleep, very like this. He died years ago, but even when we were grown we would still comfort each other like this when life got too horrible to bear, and watch over each other’s sleep, innocent and sweet.
Even the cool flannel you used was on point, as he did the same.
This was like having Joe back for a few moments - thank you so much. ❤

My sleep schedule is all wonky from having my kidney surgery last week. I'm okay and recovering but healing is exhausting and the exhaustion seems random. So I've been using your wonderful voice go help me rest even if I can't sleep. Thank you as always Steven.
