I was Saxony in this game and I was really trying to speed thru because of your mat combo. I built the mine because my objectives were have 5 workers adjacent to the factory, and control 3 tunnels, which I was going to do in one move to get up to 6 stars. I actually intentionally made myself vulnerable because I figured Albion would be forced to attack me and send me back home before you could attack me on your turn. I completely overlooked that you could jump into my village, and once you were in you blocked my route out. Rewatching the game my mistake was getting the mine on the encounter, I was debating taking the two food and then trading recruit cards, which would of been the better choice, but I figured at the time it was going to be too slow of a route against Rus Innovative. Throwing too much at Polania was also, like you said, a mistake, but my thought process at the time, was with him taking Riverwalk mech first, he was a bit of the beginner type who would throw all their power into that combat. And from there I could move in and torment him in his home island.
Cool, you have a channel as well! I got to know you from FOMOF's comments on how strong you are. I'll be checking out your channel, thanks for posting!
Damn! Do you do house balancing when you play in-person? B/c if you draw Albion or Togawa and something like Industrial/Engineering against this I feel like it’s already hopeless and not very fun. Shame the vanilla game isn’t as balanced as we’d hope but that’s the nature of playtesting’s limitations
Yes it can be pretty hopeless if you just do it all randomly. My favorite way to play is to use a bidding system--That way, stronger combinations will end up costing players more end game points when all is said and done.

Incroyable ! J’ai encore tellement à apprendre de ce jeu! Merci
It is a very op board. But you know what you are doing and that is worth more.

Should be another banned combo, Albion and Togowa cant even end in 12 turns
Instead of banning anything I would simply prefer a selection method that isn't random XD

is it not this combo stronger than the banned ones?
Yes this is significantly stronger than Rus-Ind/Crim-Pat
