However, I learned many years ago that when an alpha is on a roll, pounding the table, staring heatedly into the faces of those gathered, the best thing to do is to simply smile for all to see, gather your notes (if you have any), thank everyone and - leave, maintaining your smile and perhaps wave to someone in the group on the way out. Say nothing derogatory. The key is to never grimace or shake your head in disappointment while looking at the alpha. Smile. The alpha will get no sleep thinking about your actions and, in his eyes, you cannot be intimidated or fooled. To the alpha, he is screaming into a canyon and is getting no echo. In doing this though, you have become a threat to the alpha. As the old saying goes, "Walk softly and carry a big stick". The big stick is your maturity and self-containment.
Agreed, I tend to chuckle genuinely at Alphas, trying to impose their wills. I have yet to have one not become extremely unsettled by my genuine amusement with their childish antics.

Wow, this was spot-on. I literally had this type of confrontation with a "alpha" male in a team meeting at work 3 days ago. He tried the overt, dramatic, display of dominance, & control described in this video that I've seen numerous times at previous jobs by "alpha" males. I was unfazed by it, & was calm with a quiet confidence (The stark contrast the narrator stated in this video). Because I've seen it/experienced it so many times before, I knew he felt insecure/threatened by the question & comments I made during the meeting to get my point across, & acted-out impulsively out of fear. I literally thought to myself after the meeting was over 'The unstoppable force vs The immovable object.' UNTIL one day bossman got real and found a reason to fire me.... little did he know that I was the only asshole since the company was founded in 1857 that actually read the employee handbook. The Cheshire like grin was wiped cold when I handed him the employee chapter and section, and the supporting documents to nullify his celebration. 😅🖕
I love popping egos. I was the small kid nobody dared to f*** with. Bullies didn't last long around me, 1 year at a new school and the bullies were all in line every time, and I went to 8 different schools. Never back down, F their stupid games, but know how to win if one tries to get punchy.
Sigma males are the real lions of men. We don't get mad, or lose our temper easily. We sit back and take things in. We give others so much leway until the day we've had enough and show how much more we have and can become.
I would say a combination of sigma and alpha would be a good video. I see myself as having traits of both, and depending on the situation will lean more towards one or the other, but I would say probably about 70% sigma, 30% alpha.
It's because sigma males are flexible, and able to adapt to different environments and scenarios. We have the ability to take on whatever role is needed.

This is only a high school setting but.... When I was in school, I saw that males were trying to be leaders over everyone.
