  • After completing the Camino De Santiago pilgrimage (well the last 10km), we arrived at the regional capitol, Santiago de Compostela. This is a beautiful city with some amazing buildings including the cathedral. We walked past the body of "St James the apostle" and the usual indescribable collection of gold covered carvings, sculptures, paintings etc that are in all the "churches" here. They are beautiful to behold, not sure what it has to do with "blessed are the poor".
There were many people around so it was difficult to launch the drone where I wanted to but we tried to capture the magnificence of the cathedral, at least from the back end.

      What does "Galicia" mean?

@@antiquark3838, etimología de raiz indoeuropea: "kala" (abrigo, refugio); y, también, "gall" (madre, tierra) de raiz gaélica. Para los romanos la actual Galicia era "Gallaecia".
