NSW Beautiful Huskisson by Jervis Bay - by drone

The iconic town of Huskisson, on Jervis Bay and Currambene Creek. This is home to a major tourist marina offering cruises on Jervis Bay for whale and dolphin watching. We flew around to capture the town and the beautiful waterway feeding into the bay. The painting included at the end was painted by my mother and captures the place in a special way. Miss you mum.

We walked to Mermaids pool, near Tahmoor, for a swim in the beautiful pools along the Bargo river. I jumped into the main pool last time I was here because there was a local "expert" to help. It was terrifying, especially the climb up. It was pretty dodgy, as part of the ladder is missing and the rope is not placed well. This time I decided to just fly the drone over for a good look at the pool...

We visited the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival, 2024 and stayed in a very cozy cottage, which had many years ago been a dairy.
