I purchased this fridge. Even the delivery guys oohed and ahhhhed over it. Sure it does things that seem pointless (e.g., making sparkling water), but let me do simple math here (based on 10+ years of ownership): This fridge (currently selling for $3000+) Regular fridge $1500 Difference in price $1500 $0 cost per year extra (over 10 years) $150 $0 1 coffee at starbucks once a week = $3 (monthly = $12.....yearly = $144) This fridge is the MOST used appliance I have in the house. Why wouldn't I just skip a damn coffee once a week and get something that not only looks great but is so much better than the piece of crap fridge I struggled with for the last 8 years. Keep your coffee, I want a great product!
I have this one... I do not recommend it... the plastic for the containers are SUPPER FRAGILE, and I run into multiple problems. I’m so disappointed on a too expensive unit.
5 years in bought 2015 and i have water and ice leaking and forming under the drawers :( i am ready to throw it away some mornings when I forget then step in a puddle of water!!!! soooo frustrating
Samsung doesn't stand behind this product. Three years in with light use and the door shelves, ice maker and sparkling water dispenser have issues. Thankfully Best Buy Geek Squad protection plan covered the ice maker and the sparkling water dispenser. Unfortunately, Samsung has been less than helpful regarding the shelves. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
yeah - but the Printed Circuit Board will break w/in 1.5 years, and then freezer will stop freezing, and the plastic shelves will break w/in 3 years. That's what happened to my counter depth Samsung. Dealing w/ warranty is horrible - talking to a 3rd world country. It's not reliable. Never again.
We have had this Samsung model for over five years without any issues whatsoever. I have heard of the ice maker issues as a good friend has the same model and experienced problems with it. We have a water softener and I wonder if that is why we haven't had any problems...
I like that he said - Fishes instead of Fish.
It makes him more human and less of a salesman. I want to buy that fridge from him now!
Thanks, Rye Crisp!

Same thing here and the door trays keep breaking. Biggest POS ever purchased!
Unfortunately the ice maker is the same across all Samsungs models and is jamming and freezing up!

Expensive
Computerized refrigerator? What next? 6000k for a fridge? Can we make this any more extreme??? A bunch of not needed gizmo's for nothing.
Don't think I'd ever buy a frig that cost as much as a good, used car.
Cheesey beard
6000. I could design a good fridge. Boring

Same exact issues here.
Unbelievable!
it was a $2800 mistake, unfortunately, but no more $$ to Samsung. No mas
