It’s better than having nothing good with short ranged weapons :/
They have to be quick to kill, and avoid being seen. Meanwhile ranged shooters like chargers and something like jet squelcher rely on chip damage or their range entirely. Their kits don’t matter much but to help themselves or their team.
Something like sploosh-o-matic does horribly as support, they only exist to *RIP AND TEAR.*
4:01 I think the point was to give this weapon a pseudo 6th shot rather than just a damage combo. It’s for when your last stored shot does clip someone.
Yeah it gives it a way to get 3 kills on a single charge while also giving it a location tool which it likes

Undercover brella with burst bomb or splash wall (if you run gear with managing ink) would be pretty scary, if it got a good special to play for (kraken cooler or bubbler) it could be in the frontlines helping it’s team win team fights
I wouldn't mind burst bomb on undercover but we need torpedo back on it, and if they're trying to replicate the kensa kit then they can add tacticooler. Wave breaker would be nice too.
Personally for the special I would want Ink Storm or Wave Breaker. Something that can help the main weapon get kills or assists.
What if they gave undercover brella curling bomb and big bubbler?
@@joejones6353true, but I’m using a special that can play off of to get it’s team back in, or somthing that synergies well, kraken for forcing itself in to area and positions it wants for almost free, bubbler helps it hold ground it’s caught and maintained, and hold area’s hold on it’s own with ether sub I picked, and cooler for it’s self selfishly, it can get it, use it on it’self, and you have one free life to use to try and push up and kill people.

my personal hope is something with torp or autobomb, and maybe wave or chump
i love having storm on the blob but since the new kit wouldn't have it, i'd say specials that allow it to still deny area with lobs while they're active are the best options, which thankfully s3 has plenty of - wave, wail, storm, chump, and cooler could all work with what i'm thinking of, but no storm bc vanilla blob and no cooler bc tri nouveau
having a sub to control enemy movement and flush them out into your blobs would also be cool, and i'd personally prefer auto, mist, or torpedo compared to the high ink consumption of other bombs and the weaknesses of marker and beacon
so my favorite concept kit for a new blob would probably be auto and wave/wail

The other day on my tweet I did say why dynamo desperately needs crab to actually be somewhat viable and honestly nice to see that I am not the only one that thinks crab would be the special dynamo needs

I'm surprised that no suggestions for splat dualies were shown. Well, I have my own idea for it.
Burst bomb + inkjet (totally balanced, I know). It would be a fusion of the vanilla and enperry kits from splatoon 2. Alternatively it could have super chump to kind of reference missles without actually having missles.

Purple S-Blast with Booyah bomb 😬
Honestly I feel like wall on hydra would allow it to play way more aggressively and less like a passive anchor, and especially would help it close range giving it that little bit of extra time to charge up, not to mention it helps it deal with chargers which dunk on it.
I think I'd rather it get big bubble. We don't h really have a long ranged weapon with it yet and it would also reference its splat 2 kit in a way

Wall on Hydra has the same problem as Toxic Mist on Ballpoint: the charge is too slow for proper synergy.
The Mist would expire before you could get any meaningful amount of long range charge, so it could only pair with BP's short range burst fire.
Same deal with Hydra, the walls would likely expire before you get meaningful amounts of charge, especially if people damage the walls.
Its best use would be to challenge long range weapons with crab tank bc of the charge slowness. I'd rather have a beacon with either crab or bubbler on the weapon.

This is my dream kit
An alternate Tri-Stringer kit has been at the back of my mind for a while now. Ink Mine gives the bow a sub-weapon that beautifully complements it, with the indirect mine impact's 35 damage comboing with the 70 damage off an indirect charged shot to provide some seriously threatening space control, and granting a solid amount of tracking to reduce or in some instances negate the need for Thermal Ink, honestly it might just be the sub-weapon that best suits Tri-Stringer without taking raw power levels into account. Then 190p Booyah Bomb for the special offers a very good panic button and can either expand how much of the map your team controls or just double down on the area you have locked down already.
For an undercover kit, I'd probably want it to capitalize on the assist regen thing, so I think that I would give it torpedo and ink storm.
I fantasize about this kit. I'm sure we'll get line marker and ink vac instead with no third kit.

A more gimmicky idea for a Gold Dynamo Roller load out:
Splat bomb (because that's what the original had)
150p ultrastamp
Very obvious what the idea of the kit is.
To make it less gimmicky, give the Ultrastamp a standard special price, like 180p.
Hydra with Wall and Crab would potentially make it one of my mains again. Like, holy carp that sounds like a terrifying combination and I am here for it.
chara when jet with burst kraken where the main is already super consistent, puts out nonstop pressure, and can paint huge swathes of area for its teammates: yeah totally balanced and fun kit
chara when eliter with burst kraken where the main does next to nothing if it it doesn't hit its shots and the kit would mostly just let it defend itself: nope sorry too broken
I have a lot of different ideas for a new Stamper kit that would synergize so well with the main weapon. Point Sensor and Kraken was what I wanted on it before Heavy Deco even existed, but I could also see it comboing its 70 damage slashes really well with some fire-and-forget pressure specials like Wail, Storm or Wave Breaker. I'm just concerned that they're gonna do what they've been doing with most non-shooters and throw darts at a spinning wheel to give it some nonsense like Sprinkler and Vac.

Damn now I really want two kits specifically: the dynamo express sounds amazing, and personally I kinda want undercover to get point sensor and wail. point sensor could give it easy assists to regen it's shield and wail could help it fight I really want these two kits
My dream kits for Gold Dynamo Roller would be these 3:
Burst Bomb + Ink Storm
Torpedo + Crab Tank
Line Marker + Wave Breaker
All of these focus on giving Dynamo a sub that helps with its mobility and with finishing off weakened opponents, as well as being relatively cheap.
The specials are there to either deal chip damage that the Dynamo can combo with (Ink Storm and Wave Breaker), or to help it deal with its counters (Crab Tank).
Either way, I think the one I want to see the most would be the Torpedo + Crab Tank. That one just sounds super fun.
Torpedo paints your feet whether you throw or roll it, and can deal 60 or 35 damage with the roll. You can also throw it at Chargers to annoy them, giving you another option against your biggest counter.
Torpedo helps with its mobility, combos, and dealing with backliners, and Crab Tank helps with the same things, finishing off kills, holding down areas of the map, and countering backliners by matching their range.
I think this kit would be amazing and super fun.
I would suggest fizzy bomb and reefslider, but the stock aerospray already took it.
@@Totas_funnynumber I would argue that Reefslider wouldn't work well with Dynamo.
Reefslider works well with weapons that either have good mobility to escape after the endlag, or weapons that can easily combo off of the 70 damage for a quick kill.
Dynamo has neither of these. It's way too slow to ever get away from danger, and its swing comes out too slow to actually combo with the damage.
The reason I like the Torpedo + Crab Tank kit is because it helps cover Dynamos big weaknesses. It helps it combo with its damage, helps it paint it's feet and have better mobility, gives it a way to poke at long range weapons with the Torpedo, and allows it to temporarily match their range and gain superior firepower and armor, as well as an AOE attack that can also help finish off weakened opponents.
Plus, we haven't gotten a new Crab Tank weapon since the game came out, so Gold Dynamo Roller would make perfect sense for it.

Then again, I don't think we have a roller with ultrastamp. The Dynamo Roller might actually benefit quite a bit from having a cheap one. (I'm not suggesting the gimmicky 150p special idea, more like 180-190p) the main attack could help quickly dispatch enemies too close for comfort, or chase down multiple in an area too wide to get with a single Dynamo swing.
But that pails in comparison to the most useful part of the special for the weapon in question, the throw. You know Dynamo's biggest shortcoming? The jump flick being near useless? Well we can fix that with the Ultrastamp throw. It's faster, will always kill, has more range, less predictable yet still consistent. The only downside is that it ends the special immediately after use.
There are other reasons I like the Ultrastamp on the Dynamo Roller. The idea of a roller slamming things, only to bring out a bigger thing to slam harder being comedy gold. Also it would fit with the head canon I have with the gold Dynamo Roller being made by this legendary blacksmith.
The only problem is that pairing it with fizzy bomb or burst bomb has already been done (twice in the case of the latter) I'd give it splat bomb for tradition, and because it's consistent, which the Dynamo Roller definitely needs more of.
Extra stuff about the Ultrastamp.
As an idiot who's tried to kill a player using it multiple times, I'm pretty sure it makes you invincible from the front. Since Dynamo is as slow as whoever's in charge of fixing the roads in my town, you'll be left vulnerable. Having some security would be very helpful.
Dynamo also had great paint output, so using the Ultrastamp as a panic button or a semi spammable range option wouldn't be half bad.
@@Totas_funnynumber The thing is, Splat Bomb doesn't halp you with mobility at all, it doesn't paint your feet.
Also, it's really expensive, so I'd say it doesn't work with Dynamo Roller.
It's a good sub weapon on its own, but has almost zero synergy with Dynamo.
As for Ultra Stamp, it could be an option, but I prefer something with more range, since Stamp only has the throw, which can only be used once anyway, so it's far from consistent.
I really have a scary kit is called anarki stamper which has fizzy bomb and kraken which is basically more broken version of it’s vanilla kit since kraken and stamper can one shot with a charge hit, and if you can combo off two explosions of the fizzy you can combo off with a charge slash.
Just saying: Splat Bomb is better for painting Dynamo's feet then the Dynamo Roller. (faster and less white ink frames)
if tetra gets kraken I would be upset not because it would be broken or anything like that it just means that tetra wouldve gotten BOTH the specials I would want dapples to have (zipcaster being the other one)

Hello, i'm from the future, currently, the new s-blast is 4 days away from being added. The new s-blast has the same look you said is cool. It also has the same kit but better so yay that's fun it probably won't get 180p though. (the timestamp is 5:50)
I think S-Blast autobomb kraken would be a really fun kit with great combo synergy
I want that new Tri kit SO BAD. I love the Tacticooler Fizzy kit in Rainmaker, but outside of that I play normal Tri because I’m not a huge fan of Cooler in other modes, but I hate having Toxic Mist as a sub in those modes. Having either a burst bomb or even a curling bomb alongside a special I could work with in other modes would be perfect for me, and I could flex between the two kits depending on the mode
1:37 booyah and burst is the best kit for dynamo (imo)
You have a way to enter battle which is also a get off me tool and panic button, and you can use bursts to ink your feet and set up a combo with an indirect flick and then a direct bomb.

I think a nice name for your idea of an alternative snipewriter that keeps its shots would be the snipe texter. It can hold it’s current charge between bombs and in ink (but not long in ink)
Keep in mind that Nintendo could very well give us dart and Ink vac for gold dynamo if/when it comes out.

A kit I would really want to see is splattershot nova with torpedo and super chump. It would be super fun for a support weapon.
So, I personally want Gold Dynamo to have Triple-Inkstrike as its special for one singular reason: the Splatoon manga. (Inkstrikes were Ryder's whole thing at the very beginning, after all).
That being said, as a KDynamo player, I completely agree that Booyah Bomb would fit it FAR better, and I absolutely want Crab Tank on one of the Dynamo kits.

Explosher Detonator. Burst or Suction Bombs with Bubbler. You are the while blasting team, and it comes woth aome really nice caution stripes on the sides and a bit ol yellow exclamation on the back. If we really want to go all out with the demolition idea, slap chumps or missiles on it, REALLY make it a coverage destroyer
*Wooden Splatana Stamper* : Angle Shooter -- Kraken.
What about splat brella with burst bomb and wave breaker, that way it has a longer range combo than with the shield bump, and you can use the shield along with the special unlike with trizooka

I have been a big advocate for gold dynamo to get sloshing kit of fizzy booyah as a reference to a mix of tempered and kensa dynamo (which I think would be fine because of how ink hungry and committal dynamo is, like how glooga having kgal kit doesnt make it as unhealthy as kgal), but I have to agree with crab on dynamo is a really neat idea as a means for dynamo to counter other backline that I never really thought about
hopefully nintendo actually acknowledges the weapon in drizzle season and makes the wait worth it (maybe the weapon can actually paint next update)

I have a idea for a undercover buff/slight rework
The first shot you fire, along with all shots without the canopy open deal a total of 50 damage, allowing for a 2 shot without the canopy, however, this is already in the game, to compancate on the damage, it’ll have a slightly slower fire rate without the canopy up, this allows it to play like a splat brella, taking moments in fights to open and close it’s canopy when needed!
As a blob main I didn’t know I wanted wavebreaker until now

My fav custom kit is definitely
Trislosher with Torpedo and Trizooka
InkBrush Noveau with Burdt bomb and kraken (i need the burst bomb to finish kills that escape my range), and kraken helps the pushing power of it.
Kensa cover was a great kit for the weapon, allowed you to actually live a bit better with the weapon (even if everyone hates ink Armor) maybe with tacti-cooler it would do the same, but it’s more balanced since you still have to risk super jumping, or take time running out from spawn. Plus torpedo is a good combo, use that for rapid blaster :P

Sub Weapon : Curling bombs
Special weapon : Triple ink strike or Reef slider.

I remember going on twitter seeing a custom weapon kits and I said tetra mist kraken and seeing it this video with a 9 rating shows that I thought right that day.
just going to mention a kit I think could be neat and would be loosely based on an old strategy I used, my strategy was to use the tri-stringer for a bit of area control (in my case preventing others from getting through an area) by focusing on using its 1/2 charge and/or full charge shots (for the slightly delayed explosions) so why not tri-stringer, ink mine and, tenta missiles/ crab tank
also we don't have enough stringer or splatana kits

To me a broken kit would be 52 gal with burst bomb wich would allow the weapon to one shot the opponent I also want booyah bomb on 52 gal, I also think burst bomb would also work on 96 gal.

In this video there are 2 weapons who are both blasters, are/have been procharas profile picture, with burst and chump
I legitimately think burst storm on tri stringer would be the meta anchor and be on the same level of broken as ballpoint. Ultimate chip damage kit synergy on a very strong main weapon, basically holds a line and does aoe better than anything else in the game.
However, high skill floor and ceiling on the main weapon and really well balanced special means it wont ruin the game, just be a really strong option for the more neglected of the two splatoon 3 original classes, being incredibly strong for those who want to learn it but not the kind of weapon a new player can be good/annoying with like with sloshing machine

I think the Retro-Tri and Snipewriter kits are kinda competing against both Carbon Deco and Swig Express in terms of their kits or playstyle.

I think it would cause the rapture if you gave dark tetras wall, fizzy, or burst. Im a tetra main (not a great one tho lol i could be wrong) and i think mediocre subs is the main thing holding it back. If light tetras kept zipcaster and got wall instead of sprinkler itd be insane

Doubt it will happen since it’s already on the pro. As for bubbler it’s on the regular blaster
Why don’t they give tacticooler 1 main of mpu so that tacticooler will get played more or players will use diffrent kinds of weapen combos (and they could change that only 1 kind of special can be used in a team would be more balanced)

How does one make a custom Splatoon 3 kit? I want to know for future reference.
Respawn Punisher should be reworked to be the exact opposite of what it is now. It will lower the inflicted respawn time and special reduction of your splats, while your deaths incur slightly less respawn time and special reduction in comparison.

Brella still getting no real love, so here's a kit for the regular splat brella. I think they should do Z+F Brella (just so the new brand gets more representation) with Splash Wall and either Wave Breaker or Ink Storm (wave would be better). This gets around brella's biggest weakness that it can either shoot *or* defend, but can't do both at the same time. With wall, it would be able to give itself offensive pressure in a fight, and wave would give it passive damage while it protects itself (storm would do the same, but the damaging area is smaller and harder to keep opponents in). With how much synergy the devs are giving kits, I think this is definitely possible, and it could be a viable weapon if/when brella gets the buffs it deserves.
Well Z+F isnt a new brand that anything can get. It's a merge of two brands that don't make weapons, and for the brands that dont make weapons, their only way of getting on weapons is by a collaboration with the "Splat!" brand. Examples of this are weapons like Krak-on splat roller, enperry splat dualies, tentatek splattershot, and Z+F splat charger, formerly the zekko charger and firefin chargers.
