Don’t understand the weather resistant beef..
1) all x100’s before had no weather resistance
2) most people get a protective uv filter anyway, especially for the lens.
If you ask me, fuji took a great approach. You want a slender profile instead of weather protection, leave the lens bare.
If you want full weather sealing, or want a protective filter in front, two birds one stone!

Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, I see your point, maybe I was over reacting. My frustration comes from the fact that you have to spend extra 120 euros to get the WR. The X100V before also had the same weather sealing "buy a weather sealing kit if you actually want WR". And yes they say during the advertisment, it is even present in my video but probably they should just include the ring in the kit and make everybody happy.
Other than that perfect camera! I am sooooo loking forward to getting it (although it might take a while)
Btw do you own any X100 camera?
@ you are a sucker if you are paying 120€ for the original Fujifilm weather sealing Kit and it is grossly overpriced. A cheaper third party filter adapter works just fine and even then it is only weather resistance and far from water proof (which isnt really realistic to begin with). I think Fuji could at least include this damn Filter ring with the camera. What are the material costs and so on for that Thing? Next to nothing probably.

I agree they should have included the lens filter to make it WR at that price. I still preordered though😂

@ the small camera store I ordered from wouldn’t say my place and don’t know how many they’ll get this month. They said they’re an authorized dealer so they expect more than most stores… we’ll see Ha. I have had better luck with them in the past than the biggest store in the US

One SD might fail but also One Camera might fail, it's not perfect but I think it's a great Camera, hope you enjoy using it.
I'm pretty sure I'll like it! I mean I already enjoy the X100F very much so probably the X100VI will be even better.

I am SO much trying to fight my GAS reflex, and 11 cameras in my cupboard are glancing at me skeptically… Do I need a number 12? Do I need a X100VI? No, I don’t… do I want one… Yes…!
Daaaaaamn 11??? What cameras do you have? But yeah I feel you, fortunately I don't have 11 cameras so I can get X100VI. I will probably sell my X100F. Prices are not too low on that either.
@ well… from a fewest to most perspective… Ricoh GRiiix, Fuji GFX 50R, Fuji GFX100S, Nikon D7200, Nikon D750, Nikon D500, Nikon Z6II, Fuji X-T2, Fuji X-E4, Fuji X-H1, X-T3, X-H2S… Damn I have 12! Time to stop! I normally don’t count the Nikon D7200, although truth be told… amazing sensor! Just shot with the D500 and X-H1 today… nice cameras!
YOLO... get the camera... if you need excuses, it will hold it's price and it's a great Camera.
That's a huge collection! I did have the D7200 and X-T3 myself but I sold them at some point. D7200 was my first semi pro body. I worked a lot with it!
Coming from the x pro3: I love this camera! Good AF, IBIS, 40mp sensor and as much as I love the x pro3 design: a good Display! It was worth the overpriced premium price for me. I considered the x100v because prices dropped like cow shit, but why should I buy a camera that does exactly what my current one does? Makes no sense. Good decision :) if you don't like your x100vi, sell it and earn some cash
Hi there! For a while I was thinking about the X Pro series, I really am curious about the LCD screen that makes it difficult to look at the photos while shooting, making you focus more on the shoots. The only thing is the size that does not convince me. If it was more pocketable I could probably be more tempted. @ I got my x100vi on Friday and should be getting another one on tuesday. Had one preordered and ordered one on thursday because a shop had two camera in stock. Wasn't 100% I would be getting my first preorder so I placed a new order with overnight shipping 🥹
Was lucky enough to get one on release day. With two preorders still in queue (kept myself in line for my friends who want it) - will be using it as an EDC and second body for wider shots. 🙌
