PRISSY WHIP are absolutely insane. Daughters. METZ. Melt Banana has an album called “Charlie” that’s epic. IDLES is killing it, Grounds has a very Girl Band vibe imo....
Networks io nice! you sir, know your DIY noise rock, you gotta check out the just emerging LA outfit Prissy Whip, it’s like Arab on Radar Melt Banana and The Blood Brothers. But heavier. And weirder.
They found a permanent lead singer and released “swallow” a year ago. It’s fucking crazy.

I saw this in a YT ad and instantly clicked to check who they were. Girlband is not my favorite band.
Their music motivates me to get on with my daily activities. Girl band is the intense emotional pump in my heart.
I remember first discovering Girlband and seeing a comment about how this band is just another edgy band with the same repeat depression lyrics.
After 4 months,
This band is one of the gods, they do noise and good noise.
