Its actually a stage 1 if its only the backboxes. Spires advertise the exhausts as stage 2 because they assume you've done stage 1 first (fitted the centre section). So you, like me, have Spires stage 1 - you would need to add the centre section to make it stage 2 :-)

I'm in the market for one of these. Can you tell me the average MPG you're getting and any big repair or maintenance bills you've had? My old BM 540i averaged a true 20.38mpg so I understand it's going to cost more than a Fiesta to run. Cheers.
In town I get 20mpg. On motorways 28mpg. Supercharger pulley bearing can go. The aux belt can snap. Tensioners can be an issue. Minor electrical issues. Basically it's a Jag. But the thrill and excitement you get is second to none. I've owned over 30 BMWs and have to say they don't come close in terms of raw power and fun. Plus it sounds epic! Super comfortable to drive when not in the mood. Incredible power and torque when you're up for it. Highly recommend it.

Well, I finally went and did it. On Sunday I became the proud owner of a facelift XFR in black (very similar to yours). As the date of my previous comments show, it's been a long time coming and I'm over the moon! As an added bonus, it had a Spires stage 2 exhaust already fitted, full Jaguar history, black and carbon fibre interior and Bowers and Wilkins stereo. What a car!
In normal mode with the dynamic settings off and in D it's nice and quiet. In sport mode and with dynamic mode on it sounds like and plane. Lots of pops and droning. But it's not intrusive at all.

All Spires XFR s sound the same. I got mines done custom down at pipe dynamics. But I like the sound of the spires exhausts
I think the pre facelift calipers are silver and the facelift models are painted. This was factory.
