Never have liked serrated but understand them much better now that I have watched this so Kudos to you Schrade. Schrade-1 would be my choice and thanks for the chance
How could anybody hate a serrated blade? If you don't know how to use a serrated blade this is the perfect video for you. If you don't like a serrated blade this is the perfect video for you. It just means that you don't know how to use it.SCHF6B is the best of both worlds.
Really digging all the Schrade models! As for the serrated knives mentioned in this video I think for EDC I would like the SCH501S but in the woods I would go with either the SCHF1 or the SCH6B. My #1 for this contest would be the SCH501S because I need to upgrade my EDC!
I love the design of the SCHF1. I have always wanted a knife with this design. The serrations make it that much better. The SCH501S is also an excellent choice for rescue work and would be a top choice for my job as a Paramedic.
Not an easy decision! Yet it must be the SCH501. So many features I would like to be in my next knife and the "stone washed" look is still my favorite!
I just like well made knives. Plain and simple. Would be proud to own anything schrade makes. My best find ever was a pre 80's stag handled schrade barlow. I will never find one that nice for 8 bucks as long as i live lol. Keep up the good work!
One of the better videos on explaining serrated edges. I never quite got the need for a serrated edge until I visited my son who uses it - he does a lot of carpentry work and the serrated edged knife works faster in cutting cordage and some of the bands on packages of material. I have a folder with a serrated edge. I have 3 Schrade folders, on Schrade "survival" knife, the Leroy and the Little Ricky big knives. Good products.
I personally love partially serrated knives the most and keep one on me at all times. It's especially great when cutting through plastic wrapping some of our material and devices are packaged in. I do have a knife that's non-serrated, that I had to go back to carrying after my schrade knife I bought at a gun show cracked, but I still carry a partially serrated when I carry that one, too
good vid, I'm partial to straight edge blades but serrated blade definitely have a place. I'd love to win one of those schf1. I've loved that knife ever since I layed eyes in it. Seems like a perfect outdoors blade, 1 solid piece of steel. You really can't go wrong. Thanks Schrade!
I think the sch501s would have to be the choice for me. I often process wood, but at the same time I do need a knife that can handle some heavy duty cutting. Thanks guys!
another great video. I lean to the serrated blades for use in multiple situations. I could really use the SCHA911R in my bag for responding. thanks for the chance and Merry Christmas.
I have many fixed and folding blade knives. Fine and serrated. My preference for a knife usually lean towards the fixed blade designs. For that I would love to win the SCHF1. But I would love to add a dedicated rescue knife to my gear like the SCHA911. Thank you Schrade for the opportunity to win a great knife.
I would love to add the SCH911 to my emergency and trauma kit I carry in my vehicle, it would be very good at extricating people from wrecks, quickly and safely. great video, and thanks for the chance.
My pick would be the SCHF1 survival knife I would add it to my BOB and would come in handy the next time I go in the woods for a hike. Merry Christmas everyone
I love them all. So informative. Great job guys. Narrator needs a job in movies or something, LOL. SCHF6B, best of both worlds. Perfect for what I do daily and my outings with Jr.
I prefer partially serrated than non-serrated. So I love this giveaway. I love the survival knife but I think the SCHA911 would be more practical for me. It would come in handy in my wheelchair bag for many many different situations. Whether it be an emergency, needing to cut things fast, or common things that I come across needing some kind of tool... I would definitely get use out of it. Thank you Schrade!
Thanks for the informative video on different types of blades.I would prefer the SCHF1SM. I need a good Bushcraft blade. Merry Christmas and God bless everyone.
I honestly believe there will never be a definite winner between serrated & non. It's totally user preference. I own both & like both but my EDC is non-serrated
I already own the SCH911 as a Volunteer Firefighter and can say that is is one of my favorite tools for multiple tasks during rescues
Never have liked serrated but understand them much better now that I have watched this so Kudos to you Schrade. Schrade-1 would be my choice and thanks for the chance
Nice. I don't currently own any serrated blades but I am also not a woodsman or in bushcraft. Great video!!!
How could anybody hate a serrated blade? If you don't know how to use a serrated blade this is the perfect video for you. If you don't like a serrated blade this is the perfect video for you. It just means that you don't know how to use it.SCHF6B is the best of both worlds.

I am a big fan of the schf1!!! Happy holidays to everyone, stay safe this season.
Great explanatory video. For me, adding a SCHF6B to my arsenal would be perfect.
I love the design of the SCHF1. I have always wanted a knife with this design. The serrations make it that much better. The SCH501S is also an excellent choice for rescue work and would be a top choice for my job as a Paramedic.
I have had the SCH501S for a long time and carry it every day at work. Beast! I would love to have the SCHF1 to carry while camping.
Not an easy decision! Yet it must be the SCH501. So many features I would like to be in my next knife and the "stone washed" look is still my favorite!

Wow, great blades and comparisons.

Super nice blades, Schrade!
The SCHF1SM would be the most useful for me as a hunting knife and for hiking and everyday use! It looks like such a well built knife!
I personally love partially serrated knives the most and keep one on me at all times. It's especially great when cutting through plastic wrapping some of our material and devices are packaged in. I do have a knife that's non-serrated, that I had to go back to carrying after my schrade knife I bought at a gun show cracked, but I still carry a partially serrated when I carry that one, too
The SCHF1would fit my needs the most, I think. If it's Schrade you know it is quality.

The SCHF501S would be my pick. Thank you Schrade, Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives for the chance.

good vid, I'm partial to straight edge blades but serrated blade definitely have a place. I'd love to win one of those schf1. I've loved that knife ever since I layed eyes in it. Seems like a perfect outdoors blade, 1 solid piece of steel. You really can't go wrong.

Really liking that schf1 looks like a all around knife
I would love to add one of your SCHF1 knives to my Go bag.
I think the sch501s would have to be the choice for me. I often process wood, but at the same time I do need a knife that can handle some heavy duty cutting. Thanks guys!
I like SCH501 and the SCH501S they are both great looking knives.

another great video. I lean to the serrated blades for use in multiple situations. I could really use the SCHA911R in my bag for responding. thanks for the chance and Merry Christmas.
Really liking the SCHF1. The integral design makes up for the weaknesses of the hollow handle design.
these are awesome! I want the SCHF1!
The SCHF1SM would make a great camping knife. Looks great for carving notches and other fine tasks!
Just great thanks for the helpful tips I enjoyed
I like the schf1. really cool knife. thanks for the chance.
I would love the Schrade SCHF1 for camping. I dont have a good knife so this would be awesome!
The 501S seems to me to be the best for EDC which I use more than any others I own. Love to own it!
Thanks for the opportunity! The SCHF1 would be the one I chose if I were lucky enough to win!
I like the SCH501S. Thanks.
I like the SCH911, going to have to grab one for my truck and one for my saddle bag.
I like the SCHF1 for the handle!
I would be happy to own any one of them, they all look like good quality blades that can get the job done.
I actually carry a pure plain edge and a separate semi-serrated edge knife most every day. These are great knives.
I love them all. So informative. Great job guys. Narrator needs a job in movies or something, LOL. SCHF6B, best of both worlds. Perfect for what I do daily and my outings with Jr.
Love all these knives but I would love to have the SCHF1 for my Outdoor Use love the small amount of serrations and slim design. Thanks for the chance.
