Well you might not know this but we actually had in our southern ports a huge trade of egg-based foods and in fact in the mid 1800s giant ships, one of which was sunk in 1862 by a fleet of ships out of the territory that would become Mexico, and they celebrate to this day the holiday if Sinko de Mayo.

This was Taco night growing up in Ohio! 5 or 6 years ago on a trip with my parents they were freaking out that they couldn't make tacos bc the meat was frozen. Apparently I blew everyone's minds making scrambled egg tacos with cheese, cilantro and BBQ sauce. They still talk about it and brag about making breakfast tacos for everyone when they party at their friends' cottage. I'm so proud of my praxis!

It's a make your own tacos dinner, a bunch of midwestern families have this: A dish of ground beef cooked with knorr taco seasoning, and a tray of pre shredded cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, maybe onion, and sour cream, and a side of canned baked beans, all put into storebought taco shells that are mostly all broken out of the packaging. It was a staple meal in my all white family growing up and we have no Hispanic heritage. And Kamala's response of mayo and tuna is a dig as Walz's midwestern upbringing.
