German here. You had the manual on screen long enough that I could read that you have to hold the play/pause button for at least three seconds after charging the device for it to turn on. If you've already tried that and it didn't work, it's really sad. That cup truly is lost forever :(

wow, i used a frame, where the word "eingestellt" was covered by his thumb. so by just quickly skimming through the text and i missed that part. i just read the "automatic shut down" and the timeframe and moved on. had i used the image 5 frames earlier, i would have had a cleaner picture to work with. "eingestellt" or "einstellen" roughly means: "to adjust" or "to put in settings" to be exact, there were 15 better frames. but i stopped within the 5 bad frames and just skimmed in one direction for a useable one^^
