Not long found the channel mate and loving it. I have a touran donor just now that im stripping and doing all this on. Been really helpful! Got the seats, console, carpets done moving onto front end next week👍 Keep up the good work mate
Nice one! I really like the V2 front, especially with the black headlights. If i ever did a front swap on mine i would go for the V2, but i like it so much as it is with the V1 touran bumper, with the ABT touran sport/caddy carerra cup spoiler
Evening….I know the pain of doing a front end on your own…I had to remove mine to do an intercooler swap…1.6tdi…VW noobs put the bolts behind the rad from the front, they could easily have done it from behind, but that wouldn’t add 2 hrs labour to the workshop would it…aargh…..nice facelift, and it went reasonably well…Andy is going to have a top van, On a Budget….oh yeh👍🇮🇲👌😜

Can you do an update on the wiring fix when you next take a look at it? I have found similar chafing in that area. Obviously a common fault. This was a good watch.
Like I told you. That’s what happens to them wings when you don’t put a thick layer of sealer around the inside of the wing to stop the wheel arch liner rubbing the primer off the inside edge through to bear metal.
There's a relay in fuse box under bonnet the crank sensor uses it common for them to fail my caddy and a customers touran suffered from this relay failing.....when it fails to start see if it has any rpm and does the glow plug light and engine light still come on
@@YTDTETV make sure you replace the relay with a matching number....I bought my caddy broken down someone had fitted a incorrect numbered relay causing poor starting no crank signal recently had a touran stalling and hard starting coming up with crank sensor was the relay at fault 🤣🤣 the ampage is hot what runs fru it so over time they get tired out
@@richardmorris7210 will do that tomorrow I don’t suppose you remember the number on the top do you? Think there’s a few under there as I have looked at them before wandering if they where faulty but I guess I’ll swap one then see how it starts 👍 thanks again 👍
Hey DTE, great video! I noticed on your caddy front end swap to a V3 you cut the wing end pieces to fit rather than use the entire piece (like this video) with the V2, is that because its not possible or you didn't get a chance to get the V3 pieces?
That’s a fairly easy update that, totally changes the look of it. Andy’s have a full paint in a different colour then? Is the colour choice made already, to be revealed later? Seen them in nearly every colour at the Bluewater meets. Difficult decision that!
evening mucka, just pulled the engine outta my T5 and typical doing it on my own i’ve snapped the little vaccum line pipe (if that’s what you can call it) and i’m in the market for a new brake servo hose with the non return valve, any chance you can point me in a direction of a new one? and watching these videos is making me want a caddy now as well 🤣🫣

Hi Richard that sounds exactly the problem, no rpm signal while cranking I’ll check the engine lights tomorrow 👍 niceone
