Every damn game and is never called for it. I think he got one call last night. But it’s like egregious holding consistently. He might need to start flailing and show the ref what’s happening.
actually choked! Ridiculous... finally got ONE holding call, but he would have had like 5 more sacks had the KY line not consistently held him. Refs have got to do better to see what happens and call it like it is. At the end of the day, he got some KEY plays, including that huge sack on Vandagriff to knock him out the game! #GBO

I’m right with ya on that. Vol fans sometimes forget that this is Nico’s first year as a starter. I noticed that Nico’s passes seemed to have a little more touch to his passes. In my opinion, the wide receivers let him down on some really good passes. I think once they all get in the same page, they’ll be making those large plays that Vol fans were used to for many, many years ! I must say that Bru is like a man amongst boys when it comes to the receivers. Bru deserves all the good we can give to him. Bru worked his ass off to just be able to play football. Bru deserves to get picked up in the draft. Damn, D-Samp is a BEAST! All the best profs for him! His name needs to be out in the Heisman watch list! James Pearce Jr is starting to flex and I look forward to seeing him go off on Georgia. Another stud is Jurmond McCoy! It looks like he is becoming a leader-by-example for the DBs! GBO!!

Welcome back Bull and P. Hope yall enjoyed the Wedding. I almost forgot about that and was checking the channel for more content. I felt pretty good about this game. Yes, its Kentucky and they suck. But they give us everything they have and then some. We are their main rival, even if they aren’t ours. But Nico has come a long way. The O line has come a long way. Sampson is a beast. Defense continues to be elite. I’m worried about some WR’s but not all. A Tier WR’s (McCoy, Thornton) B Tier (Brazzell, Squirrel when he’s healthy, Kitselman) C Tier (Staes, Matthews, E. Davis, Sampson).. others I didn’t mention probably shouldn’t see the field this year. Ive been saying for ages that Nimrods just not ever going to have good enough hands to be consistent for us. I feel like he’s a huge liability whenever he gets on the field. He seems to be one of Nico’s favorite targets too. Now we need to figure out what the hell is going on with Max Gilbert. I get that he’s a kid and we need to build up his confidence and all of that but the kids career long in High School was 47. Thats unacceptable, he should never have been our guy. Period. Finally, I am starting to see a trend with Huepel (maybe its Nico) and mismanaging short clock situations. We wasted Timeouts immediately after a TV time out because we weren’t ready and were about to take a Delay of Game penalty in our own house. What the hell?? Fast forward to 30 seconds in the half we don’t have the timeouts to use when we actually need them.
Blue, can you pleaee touch on the obvious Ref bias we are playing against every single week. JPJ got held at least 9-10 times that game in an *obvious* manner right in front of the ref, and he drew 1 single holding call. On the flip, we get called for holding if we put two hands on their defender. It's beyond accidental at this point, and I'm tired of us pretending it's not there. What are we gonna do to address this?
Bull, Only 1 opposing QB (Milroe) has made it 4 quarters against our defense. While I never hope for injuries to ANY players (ours or opponents’), I am impressed at how physical our D is playing. I certainly don’t mind it if teams dread playing Tennessee…
I think Heard is also fighting through some kind of nagging injury. It will probably come out after the season. I'm looking at his kick steps and he looks like that left side, leg or ankle is bothering him. He'll get better.
I feel like tennessee will beat Georgia and everyone is going to lose their mind. Everyone thinks tennessee isn't that good lol. But in 2 weeks this team is going to be ready to make a run

Traveled from Detroit to Knoxville for this game. Second half was great. Will Brooks has a huge heart. Guys like that make the team better!
