Hey so I discovered your channel today while searching for street ramens in Korea and I absolutely loved the way you both explain each and everything in such a sweet manner💜 it's really heart warming to see that and it doesn't feel like you're a subscriber but you feel like a friend who is getting explained about something from a close friend💜 absolutely loved it and will be waiting for your videos now glad to be a subscriber 💜 much love to you both 💜💜
I absolutely love this video I love these little things set up where they do Ramen like this even though I’ve never had Ramen in my whole life not real Ramen in here in Florida and this little one horse town I live in you can’t buy even a decent pack of Ramen so I love watching these little videos and it’s always better when someone else cooks it but I would really love to try the black bean one I’ve never had black beans with noodles that sauce but then actually looked really yummy I really want to try that I’m gonna try to find that package hello from Florida 🌴🌴🌴
Hello from sweaty Florida! You didn't say where you are, but I've been in decent Asian markets in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville Tampa and Miami, and huge ones in Orlando. Orlando has one after the other, new ones open every year or so, and all stay in business somehow! Ah, Orlando has at least two Korean markets, and several pan-Asian ones. And of course that's not all the cities! I think you can buy SHIN Ramyun in Wal-Mart! Finally (breaking news) the NISSIN brand Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Sizzlin' Rich Pork (!!) flavor seems to be pretty much a Korean taste. Or maybe a Japanese-American idea of a Korean taste? It's in a paper bowl so you can microwave it. Eww! Anyway, many of those markets I mentioned sell Ramen in cases, if you have a favorite, you could stock up!
Thank you for explaining shin ramen vs jin ramen. I was wondering why you prefer that in your videos. It is easier to find shin ramen here in the US. I will look out for it.
You guys are so lucky to be able to visit Gwangjung Market so frequently hahaha If we had the chance, we will be balloons 😂It looks very hot and humid just like you guys told us! and you both are eating spicy ramyeon hahaha I think Malie and I visited at a pretty good time then 😀can't wait to visit Korea again 😄
❤❤❤❤😍Your channel is literally my comfort place. You make me so happy. Love you 🤗❤ I love to go to Korea🇰🇷. I love BTS ❤Jjajangmyeon🍝, Tteokbokki, noodle🥤, Kimuchi, Samgyeopsal🤤❤
I didn’t see that stall when I went to Gwangjang Market. I think it was closed. Instead I had kalguksu haha. Does the Chapaghetti taste like Jajjangmyeon? Cause I think I’ve seen it sold where I live, so I might try it
Tatsumi That's kind of Jjajangmyeon lol. And I prefer Kalguksu!!! As long as you know my ramyeon recipe, then eating kalguksu is a better choice! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's what she's saying at 6:40, that this is an instant version of Jajjiangmyeon. I find it a little disappointing, especially since the actual dish is so easy to make! BUT, it's there, and easy to buy.
Well, after watching dozens of videos about Ramyeon as street food, I finally decided to get the little golden pots, and the tongs and the little pliers to pick up the pot. Easy enough! So now it has wrapped around, and since I can never actually sit in this market and eat instant noodles (!) when I cook them at home I can do it in the STYLE of a street vendor. It's a cheap thrill! If you like hot soup on a cold day, the Korean technique is hard to beat, you are eating out of the pot that just came off the stove. One day when we have company again I want to put out several little butane stoves and do this for visitors, just for fun. Someone else from Florida made a comment here, so I want to mention that there are very large Asian markets in Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando, and smaller ones in many cities. There are Korean markets, even. There's one in my little town.
Looking forward to going to Gwangjang Market soon! I've tried all three of the ramen you had. Cooked it at home & I add only 1/4 of the soup powder since adding the whole packet is a bit too spicy for me. ;-) Claire eating the ramen makes it look so delicious!!
@@AaronandClaire Yes, I can't handle too spicy. :-) I sometimes add fresh veggies, spam, or other meats, in addition to, gim & a fried egg. I'll be in Korea the beginning of October.
Iam new watching your videos. I love eating. I love noodles ramen whatever you call it. Im from the Philippines. Keep the videos coming. I hope you come here in the Philippines to taste our food. Thanks
Both Jin Tantrum and Shin Ramyeun is being sold here but the noodles are not that many...my oh my!!!! By yhe way, what is the yellow raddish called? I dont know what it looks like or how to prepare it..tried it once in a korean place here in Cebu. Im not a fan of Kimchi, but they say kimchi over there is totally different... Havent tasted the chapagetti yet. I'll look for it here....
ahmm wanna ask if chapagetti is really does have a slightly bitter taste?? ps. the "donut" one, we also have that..we called it sometimes "butse", but covered only in white sugar..
I usually buy the Kim Chee flavor Nong Shim ramen bowls and add an egg. I tried Chapaghetti once, but hated it. It doesn't taste like Chinese ja jang mien. Maybe other brands taste better. This year, during the covid-19 pandemic, I've been trying the different flavors of Samyang spicy noodles.
It's like hotdog for the west. You can make it at home or eat it outside. Fairly cheap comfort food and when you are out doing errands and crave ramyum, it's the best. Instant noodle stands like this is a bit common is East Asia. Its mostly for students.
Hi Claire, Aaron, I saw a video of of another stall selling cooked ramyeon too. But that lady looked much more professional and organised. She timed her cooking exactly and aired the ramyeon while cooking. Made me think maybe her ramyeon taste better? Why don’t you check it out? Here’s the link to one of the videos. ruclips.net/video/RiKs1QpGwjg/видео.html There are others. I enjoyed watching her meticulous way of cooking ramyeon! I’m in Sydney and plan to come Seoul sometime next year and try out as many of your recommendations as possible. Keep the videos coming!!!
Well I don't understand why a person would got to a vacationing food market and get kraft macaroni and cheese when you can make it at home But in thialand it's a different story they make you mama instant noodles but they put a lot more stuff to make it much better
This beautiful, happy couple represents the very best of Korea!! You can’t watch them and not want to jump on a plane and go there!!🤣🤣👍🏽

ananya dutt oh.... soooo sweet of you to say so 😍😍😍 Your lovely message gives us lots of energy! Thank you and hope to see you more often! 💚
I love the way they serve it in those little stock pots. I love Asian markets. I’ve been to them in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.
When they have a lot of zero makes a ramyeon seem expensive but then you converted it to 2.50 lol take my changeeee
Nick and Helmi Tell me about it! when we were on a Vietnam trip, we were kind of overwhelmed by zeros...🤣🤣
First Lady even dumped the little scraps at the bottom of the bag into the pot. I felt that.
Oww we went to this market but didn't see this Ramyeon stall...we loved the "chicken feet" at Gwangjang market :)
AnS Episodes We didn't know that either. We found there recently 😍

I really like the jazzy vibe of the 🎶
너구리 is my favourite type of ramen. It has a nice flavour and thick noodles 🙆😍. I always wonder why people don't choose that flavour in 먹방's
Moesha Maduray 너구리 is also one of our favorite ramyeon too!! 😍😍 I think it's classic and everybody already know how good it is~!
Ohhh my watching this at 1:03AM makes me hungry hahahaha that urgeness GGGrrrr!!! Love you both :)

Looks so good. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 👋👋👋
Dulce Villarreal Tell me about it 🤣
I’m telling you guys are gonna fill up my note book of different food places 🤣.
I want a Korean donut 😮
I wonder why they all use packet ramyeon? Is that standard? I thought they may make it fresh? Or is that a harder option?
Nick and Helmi Can make it at home. But guess the convenience of it makes it popular
I really enjoy watching y'all..
🥰🥰🥰
Ohh the last part you called it donut.its really makes me hungry.
Lekha V Haha that's my favorite thing in Gwangjang market! 😍

Your video so nice, from Indonesian 👍🏻
Rice on instant noodles...? Indonesiaan peoples : yess..
Latinos do that too
@ 6:03 - YES to 🍚 in the 🍜

G Dumaguing Yes, Kimchi here is much deeper and the yellow raddish is called 단무지(dan-moo-ji). It really goes well with both ramyeon and chapagetti. 😊😖
Plum Tea seems like Drano for your gut. Scary...
👍✌️
ahmm wanna ask if chapagetti is really does have a slightly bitter taste??
ps. the "donut" one, we also have that..we called it sometimes "butse", but covered only in white sugar..
We’re same. I like Jin Ramen compare to Shin Ramen 👍
Couldn't take the "music" and exited half way through
Unnie I think I saw you in korean movie abyss.. is that unnie? Or just aretty girl look alike unnie 😁
Fifie Tj It can't be Claire lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aaron & Claire's Korea ahaha must be they are lookalike.. my mistake 😁

Eunha is my BAE You have a hawk-eye 🤣🤣

After watching this, I still don’t understand why we go out to have ramen in Korea?
Lol the guy @3:22😂
Do you guys have a chappaguri video?
Pete Cho No, we don't have that video, sorry. 😅

rice in ramen seems like to many extra carbs and calories but looks good
Reen H YEAH it's kind of calories bomb 😍😍
Why eat there when you can make the same meal even better with your own toppings at home? Seems like a tourist trap.
It's like hotdog for the west. You can make it at home or eat it outside. Fairly cheap comfort food and when you are out doing errands and crave ramyum, it's the best. Instant noodle stands like this is a bit common is East Asia. Its mostly for students.

Thanks for sharing! When "things" get back to normal, we should definitely try this place for you guys! 💕💕💕
What is the difference between Jin Ramyun and Shin Ramyun?
They are all Korean ramyun but thickness of the noodles are different and the powder tastes different! Usually, Shinramyun is thicker and spicier! 😊

No offense but wen u focus camera on yourself like 0:28 ... 0:36 ur camera Angle is really odd...
