"Plumberry! Food for when you travel!"
But where can I buy one?!
Plumberries with Mama Roland's jerky sticks provide 100% of your daily nutritional requirements.
That made me cackle like an old prospector.
“I dunno, tamper in God’s domain?” is the greatest line ever.
I’m impressed they still got it.
"Prisoners of the Lost Universe" is too good of a title for a film like this.
The army of Palpatines had me cracking up! Use the dark side
“Young Skywalker”

@@typacsk Oh hi, Mark.
"Behold the wonders of a location chosen for its tax breaks and non union crews!"

So, apartheid-era South Africa?
The last forty seconds are *truly* unique!
Thank You, mister schmitt!
“what do your dork eyes tell you, Dorkolas?” Will never not be funny.
"Trained swordsmen? No match for a dude with a kendo stick in his truck!"
Well ...it's a kendo sword! And he did defend the interstate trophy with it! I'd say the odds were certainly in his favor!
The dancing/fighting sequence at the end is MAGICAL.
Apollo really knows how to twirl a sword!
Slapping meat in the background. 😂
I feel like everyone on comments would be the people to have a big rifftrax party with..its calming here lol
My favorite people that I've never met :)
@@wileyschmitt absolutely
My kind of people! 😍 And a RiffTrax party would be awesome.
Apparently helps when I feel down. So I appreciate these guys for existing
I loved Mike's rendition of Rush!😂😂😂
I even quoted it when I saw a record of Rush at a store. 😂 thanks Rifftrax
RIP john saxon.
I’m laughing so hard, I’m crying!! Absolutely wonderful!!
That brief period when the US decided to drive on the right.
It was insane. Millions dead; dozens injured.
@@TheRogueWolf ...But enough about the Metric system.
Steering wheel on the right, driving on the right... yep, definitely L.A.!
“That’s it! Goddamnit!”
My thoughts exactly.
Just perfect.
❤Kay Lenz, Richard Hatch, John Saxon. This is entertaining and really worked parallel universe quite well.
Strange to see outside of Battlestar Galactica
Kay Lenz looks FANTASTIC in this
Jay Bauman's favorite Richard Hatch movie.
Thanks for helping us keep our sanity Rifftrax
I don't know why, but suddenly I have a craving for plumberry
It's the terrific advertising.
🎶It’s food for when you travel, plumberry!🎶
@@LchanOtakudom I'm gonna need someone to keep hitting me with a kendo stick until I'm either unconscious or until I forget about this movie's existence. Or some plumberry.
@@wileyschmitt Eat,,,,damn you!!!
Permission to hit him with a kendo stick?
Wait, the movie just STOPS like that?! It doesn’t even show them returning back to their original dimension and having a stereotypical generic kiss or anything?! What the hell?!
Guess joel really CAN control where the movie begins and ends.
@@ewancreskeyallan1403 La la la.
So disappointing. I mean I dont know anything about making a movie but I do know how to make a good story and this one. HURTS...ALOT
The budget ran out. Much like the patience of the lead actors.
They could have EASILY filmed a 5-second shot of them back in the doctor's house on Earth (filmed simultaneously during the opening segment) - so I suppose that they didn't want to COMMIT to having them return to Earth. Perhaps they were leaving the ending "open" for a sequel where they have journeyed to still ANOTHER universe.
Those first couple minutes got my hopes up this would be a much different kind of movie.
"Daaarkside!" "Skywalker!!!" 🤣🤣🤣
The South African scenery is nice to look at...
I had to replay the Palpatines a few times. That was pretty damn funny
John Saxon's career is almost inexplicable. He's made a living his whole life without being particularly good but ended up in some good movies. e.g. Halloween, Enter the Dragon.
Maybe he's just easy to work with and doesn't demand a king's ransom for the job. :)
A Nightmare On Elm Street
Ge wasn't in Halloween. He was in the Nightmare on Elm St
Goatee & Dangly Earring Guy is like an alternate-dimension Corky St. Clair.
9:35...discount Peter Dinklage.
So the guy that gets angry at someone who accidentally drives in front of him because of an earthquake (that he doesn't ever seem to acknowledge) and threatens to spank her like a child is our... male protagonist?
Almost as plausible a love story as *Twilight*.
@@AmyLSacks I'm... actually debating with myself over which one is worse.
@@brendenmiles8564 LINE!!
Absolutely
i mean, he was the interstate champion..
"The dark sidethe dark side dark side darside idedark side dark side!"
LOL I couldn't take a sip of my drink for like 10 minutes lol!!
I don’t get it - how can this be a “lost universe” without rubber dinosaurs?
Sadly, they were all being used by the director of Planet of Dinosaurs.
@@chwenhoou Hollywood needs a bigger supply. This is why we all need to go to crappy movies.
Kay Lenz is 68 now (2021) and is married to David Cassidy.
Oh, Captain Apollo...
Kay Lenz
Wow.
2:00-
Soooo, no Battlestar Gallactica jokes????
No Battlestar Galactica jokes in the MST's Space Mutiny either. They really show their restraint at times.
Can't Thank You enough.
I loved this movie when I was 9.
1:30 -- Apollo - from BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!
How is this movie bad? It has John Saxon. That's usually all a movie needs.
Ah, the guy who was both in "Night of The Living Dead", AND "Enter The Dragon", with Bruce Lee, and that other cool guy. But, just because someone's cool, doesn't mean the the movie will automatically be good. And I'll give it points for being like a bad version of "Jurassic Park", meets a crappy version of "Planet of the Apes", meets some show where they all get stuck in another dimension, and try to get back home. Forgot what it was called though...
Prisoners of a very low budget Universe
awesome episode.
Wow a Dr. Katz ref.
“Just then, the Enterprise was hit by a photon torpedo”
“A huge steaming turd”
“Behold...the earth is my sippy cup”
“Briefly channeled Miss Piggy”
“You mate”
“Dave?”
If it weren't for the rifftrax this would be utterly unwatchable...
And if not for Rifftrax and MST3K life would much less bearable for me.
@@wileyschmitt Right on!
Let's count how many times she says, "God damn".
That was awesome
6:25 - "This ain't quicksand"...🤣🤣🤣
Kay Lenz was just way too pretty for these movies.
Same with the girl from 'The Sword and the Sorcerer'. Hubba hubba!
6:26 Steve Aoki entering the goth stage of his career
What is the name of the song at the end of the video with the guy dancing (kind of)?
At least the main character from this movie did more ass kicking than the hero from outlaw of gor did.
6:26-- Peter Jackson's first role
Chekov's Kendo stick?
"Now here's Carey Madison with her latest hit:
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"
Not that great of a hit, but it's at least better than that stupid "fast car" song that they always play, 12 times a day, everyday. It never ends...

"This is Sid Haig for Mama Rolands' Jerky Sticks!"
"This ain't quicksand."

Glass Joe! 😄
She was the singer David Cassidy's first wife in real life.
Kay Lenz was in every tv movie when I was a teen 😄
APOLLO!!
Wait, did she just said in the beginning that the trick only works on snakes that love music? Hmmm... OK then
In between laughing my ass off, I was thinking... I know that guy's voice! He's talking like an idiot but there's something that inspires me to... I dunno, go save Starbuck or fly a fighter and be really honest and straightlaced, or maybe play some goofy sport in a speedo... holy shit, it's Captain Apollo!
Lol late to the party as usual Now imagine 2 of the actors in this were in hawk the slayer brain food for you 😎
"What about the waaaatch?"
Is that what he says? I can’t make it out! 🤨
Yes if you pay attention to the storyline.
Please tell me there was at least one callback to *The Projected Man* or *The Outlaw* or *Stranded In Space* .
There were opportunities for callbacks but none that I remember in the full version. A Mitchell callback would've been easy with John Saxon, but I guess I could've probably still added something in the edit if it fit well.
@@wileyschmitt We did get another Golden Corral's new slogan crack!
Yeah that was a good one. "Eat, damn you!" I'll have to eventually put together a montage of all the Golden Corral jokes. One of my favorites from this one was "Plum Berry!"
I didn't understand the final joke. What was that? (What about the watch?)
Does anybody know the music at the end of the video?
It was driving me crazy so I looked it up. Cezary Graf & Gianmarco Fabbretti - Binance Malta Trip
