I believe he is Czech. Or he’s maybe from a plastic sprue, we simply don’t know
He's czech, I'm too, some of his former videos were in czech.
I think he is German.

Czech ... without any doubt :)
I love how you can make a small diorama look so big. With all the details everywhere. You are so awesome! Love it and can't wait for your next one.
Yes!! And still not have it end up looking cluttered! Amazing!
Man i was so inspired by your models i started making models also keep what your doing great dioramas and models

Dude, you even nailed the music. 👍👍 FYI: they used sharpened bamboo, not metal stakes. They used to wipe the stakes with human fesses to make the victim sick if the trap didn’t outright kill them. Another great build.

wow great looking figures and m111 ,jungles looks real.Great job
I love this video and the work that you have done with the environment on your diorama and the figures are very amazing and the vehicle and what you have done with something that is in such a small scale I must say that you have done a great job and a work of art 🎨 and keep up the good work
Amazing! I'm Vietnamese and I can see my homeland in this diorama.
Does your family come from north or south
@@HarryPotter-zz6pe I'm from Saigon.
I love it. I have been wanting to try dioramas for a long time.
Same! I chickened out after seeing everyone use a static grass applicator. But this video proves you don't need one!
@@sarulaplays6861 I was told to lightly airbrush the grass in spots with a light shade to give it the yellowish look on the tips.
@@sarulaplays6861 Sometimes having the static grass applicator really does help the grass look more realistic though. Depends on the texture you are going for. You can actually make them on your own if you are up to the task. ruclips.net/video/ZO1jrUL_PLU/видео.html
Ok plasma boy try this on for style... .. when I was a kid me and my brothers would occasionally have contests of who could make the best.. oh I forget what it was called "mash up model" ( a model made of old broken down models) . I remember my oldest brother one time made a corvette/Patton tank/ chopper bike. Match that ! Model boy!
I've been always amazed about people making such realistic models. Great work, I love your content!
Very nice Diorama. The figures , the plants an the bunkers looks awesome.
Good grief. This is incredible.

Great job on everything, looks scary and dramatic.

Plasmo perhaps you could do a Dornier DO-17 from the Battle of Britain? Maybe being shot down by a Hurricane? Who knows you’re the only guy patient and crazy enough to do something like that that I know.

Hey Plasmo! Could you again make a Warhammer Miniature from 40k or AOS? I think it would be interesting to see your skills on a single Miniature again! Greeting from Germany
Interesting idea. I am painting now terminators for Space Hulk and learned some new techniques, so I probably will make one or two videos.
I am Vietnamese and I understand the Vietnam War very wellThe Vietnam War is a war that consumes a lot of meaningless lives
Only meaningless to us and it alliances
only meaningless to the invader. As for the Vietnamese heroes who fell, they died for independence and freedom for the nation.
Vô nghĩa với Mỹ và bè lũ tay sai bán nước. Còn máu xương các anh hùng liệt sỹ đổ xuống là vì độc lập tự do cho dân tộc, vì hoà bình cho thế giới! Cần phải hiểu rõ
Excellent, you do yourself a disservice, there's a lot of effort involved in what you do and the results are great to look at . One comment though, some bamboo would have been good to add
Yet again, the music used here fully completes the feel, these videos wouldn’t be the same without it
You are a pro, while you were doing this art, I just painted my ISU-152 with acrilic white haha
Fun Fact: Punji sticks were often covered with shit to infect wounds!
That is fun!
Amazing!
Piss also per my grandfather
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Hey Plasmo, really enjoying your builds (discovered your work a few months ago, cant get enough) ! I was curious, have you ever tried some other models like larger Warhammer vehicles or Gundams? I think it could be a really nice challenge to make a realistic finish on a giant robot for you, really hope you'll take a look!
The moment you brought the surface up to the edge I was just, whomever suggested that to you was wise indeed. This looks amazing. Really enjoyed seeing this come together. Nice work! 👍🏼

Really good! I've been waiting with excitement for this diorama.
Lovely keep it up!
Very very nice David. How much time did the dio take?
"It`s this whole other country."
You just keep running
Nice one
Wow, beautiful! 👏🌈😍
After finishing the diorama you could have poured some petrol over it and light it on fire, would have been authentic AF
You have it wrong, PUNGI sticks are made from wood or bamboo which have been sharped and heated and covered in human poo, they were NEVER made from metal.( just a small "Point").
excellent diorama

Hold up Bloro xD
I have to learn, write a test tomorrow. A quick look at the smartphone, and what do I see. A new video from Plasmo. Good time for a short break
Had an idea for what might be a cool yet tricky detail: cast tiny, clear resin “light bulbs” with one end of fiber optic embedded in them. Paint the exposed fiber black/brown to look like electric cords. Then string them in the underground bunker and bundle and connect the free ends to an led source. VC tunnels had lots of “rooms,” with at least one that had a generator to power lights and other equipment.
everybody in the trees gangsta till you hear a squadron of B-52 strategic bombers flying over
I used to own those same model kits when I was a teenager and I hope that I can still be able to get them at a hobby store because trying to get them on the internet can be very hard and expensive and I do love to find a hobby store in my area that has those model kits available
In Vietnam, coconut trees always grow along rivers. VietCong soldier never built a tunnel near the rivers. My grandfather was a Viet Cong soldier, he taught me a lot of things about how to dig a tunnel.

What a cracking little diorama this is ! Especially considering it is in 1/72nd scale - there is just so much detail in it, and the idea of showing the enemy underneath in the tunnels is a total brainwave, just brilliant mate. I think the painting is also worthy of mentioning, to put so much detail on to so small a figure is wonderfully skilled. Anyway, great video, great diorama, well done.
Can you do a collection video please?
very innacurate, no trees talking vietnamese, no Phantoms or skyhawks dropping Napalm and no insesive use of Fortunate Son
Lets not forget the heuy gunship doing a rocket attack with the machine gunners hanging out both sides firing away and blaring Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones. lol
@@rongray8416 Well they called air strikes mainly when they pinned down the enemy so it makes sense there is no CAS since they didn't spot them yet.
lets not forget we lost that war lol
Wildboy789789 Plasmo actually comes from a country that was on the other side. They won the Vietnam war :)
Very helpful, especially this is without static grass applicator. Great idea with underground part. Maybe there should be more trees, but OK, it may be edge of jungle. So, looks great! All the best for You! ;)
Well done, in this small scale. It looks great 👍✌
Absolutely amazing - as I said on the last video, this is exactly why I want more kits to be made of eras like Vietnam War.
Thanks to your videos I have started model building myself - I have made a Tamiya 1/35 JS-2 tank similar to your T-34 Berlin model, and now am working on Tamiya 1/48 A6M5 Zero kit. I watch your videos on these multiple times to figure out how to do certain techniques and what order to build my models. Thank you so much for your inspiring work!
Hi. I'm from Viet Nam
What type of glue do you use to glue the grass and vegetation?
My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. Same with your great videos:)
Only thing you know it's gonna be gooood
Ferns are close to streams, creeks and small rivers and clay soils and are shrubby. The others you put on trees are more for shrubs like ferns. Hugs
Sorry, I forgot the main thing ... it's a great job!!
You nailed it!
Damn! So great! So.... How about a fire truck? ICM makes a nice model T Fire Truck and Trumpeter does a really nice ALF!

Eh Mr professor Plasmo 😉 Excellent work ! I would like to see you do a scene from the Normandy landings where the British & American troops landed on the beaches
David,
I began watching your videos a month or so ago because of your 1/72nd scale armor pieces like this diorama, but I have stayed and am slowly making my way through all your videos because your skills, attention to detail and running narratives remind me so much of my father, a master modeler who passed away two years ago.
He began his modeling in the '40s at a time when "kits" consisted of blocks of wood and paper templates.
When I became old enough to start building my own models he taught me how to use an airbrush and how to make modifications to the--mostly Revell--aircraft models I began building. I never attained his degree of mastery--as a adult he focused on HO/00 1/87th scale trains--but we shared many hours together enjoying our hobby.
I feel a certain sadness watching your videos because I cannot share your work with him, but I also happy knowing that he would appreciate your work and would have enjoyed watching the videos.
Cheers,
Jeff Hess
Have Coffee Will Write
p.s. also thank you for the Models For Heroes information. I have already boxed up a couple of dozen 1/76th and 1/72nd scale WWII armor kits (Aurora/ESCI, Hasegawa, Fujimi, &c.) that I'm going to ship across the pond.
Hey, a follower from France here. I really love your work, especially your minature's style (as I mostly paint figures myself). I was wondering, are you planning on doing a more "in depth" video about painting figures ? I think a lot of people would learn painting tricks, as it appears you are able to paint them very fast yet make them outstanding too. Great work !
Just like the real thing Viet Kong soldiers were so goddamn hard to fine during the Vietnam war because they had an advantage
Don't touch my country. Because we will always be victorious 😎😎😎
You8 did a GREAT job on this entire diorama. M113, figures and ground cover are all EXCELLENT especially given the small scale you chose to use.
It's a seen straight out of the book, Close Quarters, by Larry Heinemann. One of the best books, set during Vietnam. Just an outstanding book, and it left a mark.
Just this model tells you how awful the war was
actually more fierce than that!
The French attacked us for 9 years and then failed. Then 21 years the Americans invaded, with 7 million tons of bombs. A few days ago, my country Vietnam was flooded and landslides, and 14 more American bombs were found in the ground.
