- It's not often we get stories about the Culdee Fell Mountain engines, so it's always a treat when someone writes about one of them, and does it well. And theburiedtruck has certainly delivered once again. I also took the liberty of creating a new intro and outro for my series, as I felt it was time to update it after over a decade of using my old ones. Hope you enjoy it.
Ernest and the workmen have hard work to ensure the Mountain Railway is able to reopen safely after Godred's accident. But they have to contend with a cantankerous old farmer, as well as his sheep when they escape from their field.
Note: I do not own or endorse Thomas in any way. It belongs to HIT Entertainment and Mattel.
An interesting take on fleshing out Ernest's character here; even giving a name to his own coach too! Excellent job, Scott; you and Mike have done well with this!
O I see you're video's that u make will I seen the untold story of timothy and another video that is a will I don't know the movie name but it is gost of 3A11 American steam engine
It's weird to think that Godred was just sitting in the shed throughout this entire story. Love it by the way
I believe the Culdee Fell Railway should have an extension, so that the engines have more work other than just climbing up the mountain.
That was fantastic. A story about Ernest and how he manages to prove himself without doing something silly. GeebMachine did a superb job voicing Ernest and Wilfred. TheGermanofSodor was impressive as Crenshaw, I liked the accent he gave :) .
Wow, I gotta say, this story was amazing, even after Godred’s accident, it was still an interesting story. Anyway, excellent work on making this video.
To all students if your assignment is watching "The importance of being earnest", this ain't it!
Ok?🫤
I swear theburiedtruck has written stories about everything at this point. It’s really refreshing to see a story about the Culdee Fell, let alone about Ernest
I think the main hero in this story wasn't Eric but Ernest
The story's actually about Ernest, hence the title "The Importance of Being Ernest".
@@FantasticMrS whoops that was a typo
Geez that was an insensitive thing for the farmer to say he’s glad Godred fell down the mountain. Like yeah he was a bit of a crosspatch but he was still a coworker/friend to the other engines. Surprised Ernest didn’t say anything about it.
I'm so hype about this 😃
Thanks for Joel Hunter to voice Ernest
Amazing story! I loved it!
I thought I would dislike Ernest, but Crenshaw was the one I ended up disliking. He just griped for being a cattle truck, it's not that big of a deal. Very good episode indeed.
It always amazes me how this fan base is able to pick up where Matel dropped the ball and tell new stories.
I'm looking forward to seeing this.
oh hi Ernest
Great adaptation!
Master ernest
Fantastic story mate, very good. 10/10 and best wishes. 🙏
You'll have to thank theburiedtruck for that; he wrote it, after all.
@@FantasticMrS Will do.
The Mountain Engines were never seen on the Thomas and Friends show such as the train model series or the CGI drawing and painting cartoon
Wait you combined the SI3D faces with the jonateers models?! Sign me up!
I sure did! But I also used custom faces made by my good friend, Toby's Tramway.
Good work!
Nice one Scott, love the Culdee Fell Engines
You've done well on This Scott, though I must confess just one goof: when the lorry started, it's wheels didn't turn. I guess it just wasn't made to have moving wheels aye?
I like how the Jonateers Culdee Fell faces have those SI3D faces
2:00 to 2:20 Similar to an Old Iron scene. Nice new intro by the way.
Woah New Intro O_o that’s crazy
Amazing Job!
What if The Importance Of Being Ernest was adapted for Season 5 of Thomas & Friends
yay
Where you get the mountain engines with the changeable faces from? And how did you get them to work on trainz 2010 game?
I downloaded the mountain engines from thejonateers' DeviantArt page when they were still available for download (he's since taken them down). I then added face packs to them (that Toby's Tramway and I made) using the AJS scripting method; you can find the instructions for that here: docs.google.com/document/d/1ETbp9kFhosGXQ_v6xpozO4NZnKNfYoTiGGczZCuabBM/edit
Anyone else notice that the title is also the name of a classical theatre production?
1:13 Huh?! We could almost see Trevor The Traction Engine in the background
Well he would have been working then as the story is set in the early 1900s.
ONE OF THE CANCELLED EPISODE ON THE JACK AND THE PACK MINI-SERIES IS CALL
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING PATRICK
The farmer sounds like Billy Boyd.
Nice!
April 29 1964
nice episode! i was wondering how you fixed the type a bogey?
The error doesn't happen when you're using Trainz 2009 or 10.
Nice job but did you see my auditions of the troublesome trucks and can I try Stanley the narrow gauge engine?
Not the place to be asking that.
Sorry
Fantastic Mr.S, Can You do Thomas and Tillie Get OverWhelmed As Part of the first episode of my series called Thomas And Ariel’s Adventures starring:
Thomas = Terrier55Stepney (Note: This Is Terrier55Stepney’s Only episode before EpicLafiteau Takes Over in the 5th episode)
Tillie, Alana and Ariel = Liz Productions
Gordon = Daniel Alsop
Soundtrack:
Thomas season 8 theme (Opening)
Sneaky Snitch (Thomas and Tillie Blowing Their Whistles at Gordon)
Thomas And Gordon TAB (Gordon Pulls Thomas and Tillie)
Thomas season 8 theme (Ending Credits)
This is the first episode of my series.
The answer is no.
Why no?
The truck is moving, but the wheels are not spinning
Is Godred dead in your series? Will he come back in ghost form to haunt the Culdee Fell Railway? Or shall he get a second chance? Perhaps like Stanley on the MSR he just sits at the back of the shed?
Can I ask you something? Why don't you use modern trainz models for characters like Thomas? I'm asking because I'm curious.
I still use the older models instead of the new ones because to me, they've stood the test of time. Besides, the newer models, while they look good, are overused, and I'd rather stand out than do what everyone else is doing.
@@FantasticMrS I see.

Ernest: |:)
Hey bro I see this history you write it's great
So I'm here so ask if I can remake on my Trainz?
I didn't write it; theburiedtruck did. The story's free for anyone to adapt, so you don't have to ask me (all I ask is that you don't use my audio for it).
Eeh ok Thanks For Reply
Jane is Ernest's coach.
Who's Jane? And aren't you thinking about the open-top coach on the Skarloey Railway?
@@swag-a-dellaman6555 No, I've once seen it on the picture of CFR engines and their coaches. Which gave me an idea. I call the coach of Ernest's, Jane after the open-top coach on the Skarloey Railway.
Can you please tell me who made the Culdee Fell theme at 1:01? I’ve been trying to find it myself, but to no avail.
Carson made that theme. I gotta tell you, I've wanted to use his Culdee Fell theme for a project for a while now, and I'm glad the opportunity presented itself here. If you're looking for it, try looking either on his Soundcloud account or his themes folder on Google Drive.
👍👍
You used the same title as the Sheepdog Tales episode.
For a second I thought this was Alec Baldwin
Is this story free to adapt ?
If it wasn't, I wouldn't've been able to adapt it myself.
where did you get your cfr route
ThomasTugsFan released part of it on his DA account, and the rest is from an old site called Sodor Railroading Builders.
@@FantasticMrSis it sharable cuz i have a blood line of mountan engines and i havent found a route yet
Of course. Just head over to Sodor Railroading Builders and you should be able to find the route.
@@FantasticMrS thank you for the help
Anytime.
