My last trip (August 2023) we stayed at Cabana Bay for 8 nights. Did one day at Disney (MK) one day at Seaworld and one day at BG Tampa. The remainder spent at Universal. Honestly, it was the best trip we’ve ever had, even tho exhausting😂

Aventura is amazing! Plenty of food options (breakfast burrito is a must). Sushi bar if thats your thing, it is mine! Brick oven pizza is great. Rooftop bar with food. High tech everything. Pro tip-walk to sapphire falls and take the water taxi over to the parks and skip the crazy city walk security area. Also the pool there isn't the best but you can walk to sapphire falls or cabana Bay and use their pool. The SF pool shouldn't be missed if you like to swim. The rooms have an iPad which controls the lights, TV, message the front desk with it.

Unless you want to rush it, just do 1 night per park plus an extra night for arrival

    Another great video.
Rate our trip, Mom, Dad and 9yo and 7yo tallenough to ride any ride:
MK, HS, AK, HS, E, MK. Easy starts/pool breaks on repeat parks days. Then day off resort hopping and moving to Endless Summer. That night at Harry Potter. Then 2 days with Express Pass with 2 park pass, then 1 day without express.

That’s alot of $$ for 4 people 2 days express pass. Might as well stay deluxe hotels!

I love everything about this and think it’s slam dunk! You’re giving yourself plenty of time to double down in Disney like you said and you’ll absolutely be able to do the same within get few days at Universal with the express pass 🙌🏻

Can you make a breakdown video of tips and tricks of splitting your trip? I booked a trip for 3 days in Universal & 3 days in Disney - staying at the Hard Rock the whole time. Would love to see a video of how would best approach hitting Disney for 3 days (rides, places to eat, etc) and same for the universal

I Do both every year and ae gone almost twice a year. Universal and Islands which I luv can be done with Expess Pass in a half a day. Disney must be a whole day for every park. Too much stuff yet the food is better so you dont have to go outside like Universal with CityWalk.

  • @FAFO4wisdom

    7 days.
    I need 7 days.
    1 for islands of adventure
1 for universal studios and volcano bay.
    5 for epic universe.
Whats Disney? Is that a restaurant?

  • @arlencarlson
    @arlencarlson 3 месяца назад +1

Don’t forget to add a rest day between each park day spent. Disney is tiring and I imagine Universal Studios is the same. And if you plan other activities I no longer think it is possible to do both in a single trip without compromise.

@@Swearengen1980 You sure are inconsiderate. Sure maybe expecting to wait one long line in a day is fine…but several? My wife lost her patience for theme parks over this…a two hour wait for a 3-5 minute joy-ride? I really don’t know how people can waste their time doing this so willingly. Don’t know how those with children even do this? Gone are the hey-days of Disney of the past. Now, I can not state if Universal is the same as Disney, and that is what your example stated too. So, back to my point-in many cases, you need to budget for a rest day in between some of most park visit days. That may mean simply just doing something different than waiting in lines in a theme park.

  • @Swearengen1980

Need depends on the timing obviously. Went to Universal/IOA a couple weeks ago with the kid, Thur & Fri. We did everything in a day and a half (no early entry or express, and it poured on us by the evening, so both days were cut short around 5-6pm), some of the rides twice. I kept reading/watching you needed at least 2-3 days to see all of Potter alone, so we were pretty disappointed to see how small it actually was and how awful the shops were (the Weasley's shop was hands down the most disappointing). I'm baffled how I've come across so many adults who practically live at that place.
