Such a great setup! I love the 20 gallon longs as they have a nice sleek look and easy to maintain. I hope you keep creating more tank videos and keep up the great work. Cheers
I’ve always had Val do well in soil planted tanks, and exist but refuse to grow or spread in tanks with just sand until the tank has been established for a while. I also have pretty hard water, which Val likes. If your water is soft that could make it challenging to grow
@@TobyCreates An element I hadn't considered, thanks. I've tested the tank and tap water. Now I'm thinking the hardness may be too high. The GH actually went over the scale of the test a bit. At least I'll never have a problem keeping snails. Tap: KH 6° (100 ppm) GH 12° (200 ppm) Tank: KH 6° (100ppm) GH >22° (400 ppm)

One of these days you should do a Q and A just a thought
I think youve got a great hobby going. I bet you could set up some tanks for people and make a good living out of it!
Dope setup I love the plants in put in the 20 gallon long ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🫶🫶✌️✌️💪💪🔥🔥🤟🤟👊👊💥💥
love the simplicity and restraint with plants and livestock.
Very nice tank and plants
Val is an amazing plant when you can let it go wild!
If you can keep it alive! It always vaporizes when I try growing it in sand with root tabs. Even adding CO2 didn't work. Maybe soil is the key 🤷♂
@@jetroar17 The only thing I've seen kill it was a heavy H202 Dip. Outside of that it goes mental in every situation I've put it in.

Looks Great 😊. I will wait with adding the plants, Since there is no artificial bacteria.
You are risking some of them might melt down.
very nice !
Please start posting again!!!!! I have noticed you started slowing down on posts 😢
Did you add bacteria?
Didn’t show it on video, but the tank ran for 3 weeks before I added fish
@@TobyCreates Thanks for the speedy reply
