MIP hex drivers are probably the best overall tools I ever used. I was at a home Depot picking up some tools for some non RC related work, and I thought to myself, "only if MIP made general purpose tools".

I totally agree, the MIPs are outstanding. A friend of mine had a stripped screw on his car and with my 2mm MIP screwdriver I was able to untighten it.

I was in doubt on buying this cuz it's not cheap. I got metric set but when I got it, I removed the hex screw from motor mount that's really tight and I said this will definitely leave a dent, went I successfully removed it and checked, I don't even see a scratch. 😂
MIP is the real deal!
Hard to stomach paying that much for 3 bits, but I have tried two different Amazon junk sets, and the 2mm rounded on the first use on one set, and the other 2mm lasted me about two weeks. Gonna have to just bite the bullet and get these. Thanks for the info!
I had the same pain...but after buying several sets of drivers, I ended up with these and they were the last. Still using this exact set to this day and I've built / maintained over 100 RC's now.

I started using MIP when I did a diff rebuild on my ten scte. those little 1/16 screws would strip no matter which driver I was using.. until I tried mip. with the mip driver it was fitting so tight that I could hold the diff in the air when the driver was in a screw. it's the real deal!
Losi Diffs? I had that problem too, until I got my MIPs! Best wrench!
Not sure if you showcased them, but the Hudy tools are great! I am replacing my integy spring steel tips with the hudy tips as they wear out, and man oh man are those hudy tips nice! Last a very long time (years upon years), similar to how the mip tools probably do. I wrench 3-5 days out of every week, and have found the Integy spring steel tips to show wear. I only chose them over hudy tools due to the price being less. But I can tell yah that with hudy tools, you get what you pay for, and in a good way!
being that Hudy is primarily a European company, they're not that easy to get in the states and if so, they're expensive. I have heard nothing but good things and of course, many people compare the MIP's to Hudy. The main reason I have steered clear of Hudy's are the sandpaper like knurled aluminum handles. I know there's the limited version that's a bit better, but those MIP handle driver handles are great!

+rcdude18 i found that rather than buy the entire tool, you can save some $$ by using the type of handle equipped with the set screw locking mechanism, and then buy the tips separately.
+The RCNetwork yeah that's the exact reason I went all mip, the knurling on the Hudy killed my hands. best of all I sold the Hudy ones for more then then mip ones cost lol.
+brian hilligoss I can't say enough good things about the MIP drivers. I have spent hundreds on drivers and these are simply the best.
I bought the speed tips only, with a ratchet driver, they work great. Before using MIP tools I thought they were over priced, I was wrong

Where do you get that handle that accepts the speed bits? I don’t see it on their site..?
Any 1/4" chuck handle will work - DeWalt, Milwaukee have them as well
What tool bag/ pouch do you use for the speed bits ?
I don't have one as of yet...just keep them in a tool tray at home
I'm torn between these and the ball end versions
I would always use the straight ones - the ball ends should only be used if you need to get in at an angle
Great channel! Subbed. I haven’t been into RCs for years but you have rekindled my interest! Those bits look nice but their price tag seems way too high. That 3pk for $40? That’s insane...(to me) I don’t know much about rc tools but I know a bunch about “construction” tools, & even some of the best bits on the market, Wera/wiha imo aren’t even semi close. I might be missing something if so fill me in. I do love top of the line, beautiful tools w/ great functionality and am never opposed to spending the bread that’s necessary for the best but damn that’s hella cake for 3 bits!? Dope vid though 👍🏽
UWELL I hear ya! I’m doubting less now bc I see the clout the brand brings with it! I mean I still think $40 is a lot. I think if you took some Wera/wiha bits and used them in the same application as these MIPS they prob last forever also. But including MIP & those brands it seems to differentiate bc they are made with a higher standard then “Ryobi” bits which aren’t worth the $3 on clearance price ( assorted 30 pack)
LGzzy thanks Buddy! You’ll find out quick that MIP tools are worth their weight in gold. They’ve been around for 30ish years, and they are made to last. You only have to buy them once.

It's not that the 1/4" driver is replacing the chuck it's that those are two different tools. A drill with a chuck or a impact with 1/4" or a screw driver like you have. They pretty much have to have the grove cut into the shaft for the check ball if it's used in a impact or the screw driver you have
Strange, because my Bosch drill in the video will take both, but my DeWalt and Porter Cable will not take the "notch less" bits
the cool thing is just buy the speed bits and 1 handle and be set

looking for the best universal handle for these speed tips buddy I am going to buy the metric set 1.5 2.0 2.5 and 3.0mm and want to use the tips in a handle and electric screwdriver...probably will buy the 12 volt bosch you have too lol. Your feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I would go with the Tekno. It's built like a tank and really a great buggy overall. Part support is also much better with the Tekno as well. You won't be disappointed
INTEGY Tool Set, is it any good bro?
I wouldn't buy anything Integy......honestly a waste of money. Cheap materials, cheap machining and cheap price to lure in the new hobbyist......I know, because my first upgrade I purchased many years ago was a set of Integy shocks - that almost made me quit the hobby!
The RCNetwork well I've been running Integy Parts on all my RCs all upgraded with Integy. My Losi 5T, Traxxas Summit, X0-1 all with Integy upgrades. I had a Runaway with my Losi 5T, it hit a Brick wall, my Integy A-Arms did not have a scratch.... However their Costumer support must be ran by a Cartel, it's horrible..... But I never had an issue with their products.
But in regards to "Tools" these are also bad quality? What about HUDY? are they okay?...

thanks alot for the review. if i have the money next month , i'm getting me some , because my dynamite hex has worn to the point they just strip out my screws when 9i try to work on the, . because i have a stampede 4x4 that needs work , done to it , and my axial scx10, that needs the bearings replaced in the diffs front and back.
They'll be the last set you'll buy....which is a great investment. Quick tip - goto Lowe's or Depot and pick up a 1/4" drive handle - They usually sell them for about $7 and they have all the different screw driver bits - makes as a great additional handle for these bits if you need them

I hear this a lot....but ask ANYONE in the industry about MIP. Buy once. They're great tools and last a lifetime vs EVERY other tool on the market

I just broke the tip on my speed 2.0 bit. I didn't think it was possible.
Yikes! I broke a 1.5 a while back on a MIP driveshaft pin that was loctited with red....I ended up grinding the tip to a point and use it as a fancy pick now! Pretty scary breaking a 2.0!
The RCNetwork I was trying to force fit an aluminum skid plate. I was shocked. Immediately went on ebay and bought another. I have some cheap backups for now thankfully.
ive got to try mip drivers. i bought a set of hudys about a year ago and the tips are all rounded off. at 17.00 a tool, i am not impressed
MIP's are the best!
+The RCNetwork i just got the metric hand set and i have to say they look good. i'll try them out soon since my wraith needs a link end replaced. they have to be better than my rounded off hudys.
