Honorable mention to when he called his own penalty shot and scored on Rhodes
@mojo look up "Pavel Bure Calls his shot", he got a penalty shot and told the ref where he was going to shoot and score. Then went and did exactly that, pointing at the ref he told after he scored in celebration.
I met Bure in the supermarket many many years ago and i took out my grocery receipt and got his autograph.
and did he sign in latin or in cyrilice?
I am from Ireland . I lived in Toronto for a good few years. Late 80s, early 90s. the Hockey was great to watch. BUT Pavel was some operator on the ice. Seen him make a mockery of many a team. great player. Pity he didn't play for the leaf's, but we had Dougie and co.
The most electrifying player of 'em all. Not saying the best, just the most exciting. He carried the Canucks on his back to get to the Final. Top 5 greatest players of all time.
Linden carried the Canucks too
Makes me happy to share a name with this man
The most spectacular hockey player of all time...bar to none !
This dude was definitely ahead of his time
Bure! 🤩 Instant like.
Take McDavid explosion/speed combined with Datsyuk stickhandling = Bure.
Mcdavid already is an amazing stickhandler
Lol we all love bure but mcdavid is better both in handling and arguably speed...maybe not speed not sure
Mcdavid is basically Bure 2.0
@@Badkhela ARE YOU NUTS
Imagine Prime Pavel Bure with no red line
Bure finishes better than McDavid if Bure played today he would be going for 100 goals.
@Linden McDiarmid Exactly. I was lucky to see many live games with Pavel, including the #1 goal in this list, and feel Pavel was a better finisher/natural goal scorer and maybe had a faster first few steps than McDavid but Conor has better top speed and a much better passer as you say.
One of the best ever!
Best hockey player of all times!
Fastest player ever
Greatest Canuck ever!!
The amazing part of his speed is how fast he could accelerate while turning. The defender would complete his matching turn and be 5 feet behind Bure.
McDavid is faster
@@stanislavkrasulin9447 No way.mcdavid is great.but Bure is a goat!!!
@@stanislavkrasulin9447 Its close. Id pavel has better acceleration, McDavid higher top end speed
@@stanislavkrasulin9447 McDavid is a oiler
Pavel was on another Level! Supreme! in my brain! Insane talent! Schooled Lidstrom n anyone. Too have that Speed n Skill is- hmm i simply have no words. GOOD GOD!
Все очень просто... Талант и трудолюбие, и ты уже легенда хоккея.
The most exciting player to ever play the game. He made hockey an artform.
If he was playing today he would make everyone look leeser than...that speed was simply incredible. my man Bure...way ahead of his time
There are really no words for his skill! Nobody does that Mcdavid. But that at Speed n agility. We miss that in the NHL! Now adays.
He would still be a top player today. That move on Lidstrom tho tells you how good he was
Ive been a Bruins fan all my life..but Pavel Bure was my favorite player growing up...sure we had Cam Neely, Ray Bourque and alot of legends..but we didnt have anyone like the Russian Rocket at the time...unmatched speed and finesse..made the game so much more fun to watch..whenever the Canucks were on tv it was must see...Hockey needs more players like Bure..so damn smooth.
Wow that took me back to some great hockey memories
Гениальный хоккеист !!! Всегда его любил его игру.
Number Nine was spectacular. This guy had a combination of speed and puck control that I don't think anyone has ever surpassed.
The way that people my age (mid 20’s and younger) hate that they missed seeing Bure in his prime is the same way that kids born nowadays will hate that they missed seeing Ovechkin in his prime. Appreciate what you’ve got in front of you folks!
I used to stay up late at night just so that I can watch him play. As a kid he was my ultimate fav player .I wish he would of stay with the Canucks or came to Montreal. His speed was insane.
I became the fastest skater in my league all because of him.
Great memories
Илюха Салам из Казахстана ты тоже Крутой хоккеист 😊
Still my favourite player of all times
Watching all these highlights and seeing all the clutching and hooking. Makes me wonder how good he would have been in a different era...
Would have been amazing.
He was so damn fast. The way he could dangle the puck at top speed was crazy.
so glad i watched his career live.. what a player.. i first saw him when he was in world jr's.. he was amazing
He was on the 4th line with Fedorov and Mogilny, @16yo. Imagine that!!
This guy is the reason I watched the Canucks in the 90s.
So many great players who have never been on a Cup winner. Bure was one of the most amazing skaters ever, and like to add, Kirk McLean was such a great goalie another who should get more recognition
he was amazing
1- е место- классика!!!!💯
Браво,Павел!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I tried finding every highlight of his as a kid. This guy was electric.

Simply electrifying.
Scary to think what he could've done if it weren't for all the knee problems. One of the great what ifs in NHL history.
Bure was something else. Monster.
How he fired up the middle without getting kneed is a true measure of awareness and skill.
unreal talent
Watching this I feel old and I also can’t believe how fast the game has gotten.
Complete scorer! Speed, stick handling, iq, shot, artistism.
If Pavel Bure be playing in today's league, he be scoring 100 goals a season, no doubt.
One of thee best goal scorers in league history. And as a Canuck he was held , hooked and no arms raised by the refs on most of his goals. And was so fast he made Courtnal look slow. And he was fast.
Овечкин нервно курит в сторонке! Лучший хоккеист мира!
Всегда смотрят по результату
Ну и где буре
These highlights aged well. No one is saying “the defense should have done this and this”. The defense was dead meat with Bure on the move.
Love how hes just not dangling the David Wilkie of this world but makes HOF Niedermayer and Lidstrom looks like Midget B player! Favourite of all time
Буре - легенда. Волшебник на льду.
