- On a wet & rainy Thursday, me and my bro Kylon (MidwestICRailfan1000) set out a 3-hour journey to Gluck, SC to chase the ever-so-popular Pickens operation. They’re family owned and operated, and work Monday through Fridays typically. They have 2 jobs, one for Anderson, SC and one for Belton. The roster is mostly known for having Ex-CSX MOW U18Bs which is a sight to see these days.
U got some great videos man! Glad we still had a good time despite the weather and not knowing where to go half the time lol!
Yeah! We ain’t no little precipitation stop us! Even tho my camera is acting up but i will work on that.

I’m visiting the area this week and would love to be able to get some photos and perhaps a chase any times or days that would guarantee that opportunity? Thank you

That's a great horn on 9500. What kind is it?

Great watching a short line operate…appreciate you braving the weather to get these shots…lived in Greenville for 13yrs and never saw a Pickens train…whose old line do the operate over? Do you know what that End GRWL begin PKHP means at the crossing near video end?
"End Greenville and Western Railway, begin Pikens Railway". It's basically a territory marker for their interchange.
Bet this was a great PICK...
I'll see myself out
