The woman dancing in this video is a very good dancer. Country swing is a lot of fun, and you don't have to be a professional dancer to have fun with it. One lesson and you are doing it, then practice and it gets better and better.

It’s a lot like regular swing dance but just with a really nice country twist to it. Very beautifully done.

I was about to comment something similar :) I practice these dance moves back in 2013 with a friend I met in college, she didn’t know I have a crush on her lol it was so much fun dancing and practicing with her and till this day I still think of her ... would do anything to have nights like that again

THESE PEOPLE "GOT IT GOIN ON"!!!!! I use to take ballroom dance classes...its hard, but FUN! It helps when you have a strong male that can lead! These dancers are AMAZING and phenomenal to watch!! I used to watch this video all the time. My husband and I even started to learn it. It's been a few years and still wow! Amazing! I'm getting dizzy just watching all those spins 😵 I don't know how she does that. The guy is also obviously great. Watching this makes me so happy. I love dance.

Every Saturday night we all went swing dancing and the dance always included between the legs over the hip and shoulder moves. Nobody was a professional dancer. Just loved to dance and have fun.

i think this couple definitley had the best chemistry of the bunch. she looks smoother and more polished than the others. i know all these moves except for the dips, flips, and butt spin lol. the basic step isnt hard but i cant seem to find the timing of the music so i never really got into country dancing much but i like this song and watching them dance to it.
I can watch these videos all day!!! I wish someone in Houston taught lessons with these moves !! :)

absolutely amazing. QUESITON, have you guys ever taken salsa, bachata, or forro clases? some of the movements and spins remind of these dances. I have never seen anyone dance country like that, it is truly mesmerizing, and both you guys are wonderful! the technique and grace of the girl are stunning

Although this is al lovely video and a lovely dance, imo the only country elements to it are the outfits and the music. Used to dance country linedancing for years and years and saw none of those steps. This looks like a combination of cuban salsa and west coast swing with lindy hop aerials. Beautifully executed though :D.
Some of the turns do look similar to Salsa patterns. The footwork reminds me hustle. I just wouldn't be so quick to say it's not country because it's not the same style you learned.
This is true of any dance those elements exist in every style of dance you can think of that you do with a partner but the problem is they are not rhythmic. There is such a thing as a country worldwide dance circuit and those dancers are rhythmic. This can be described as country bar dancing, Pony swing, country swing, or Country Fusion but it can't be described as good dancing as good dancing expresses basic rhythms at the very least.

Leader led moves (not choreographed) but follower clearly danced with Donny Robbins a long time & they know each others dance vocabulary & pick up on leads faster than if not danced together before.
