I did a test of side by side afalfa meal vs other dry grains. Turned their noses up at the alfalfa and instead went for my home mixed dry recipe. Sure glad I didnt buy the large bag of the alfalfa, but did use the meal for my compost pile.
Im using worm bins for worms for my Toad pets, other than saving on feed, what are the benefits of worm farms/composting. I'm talking about money saved or earned only.

Its been my experience anything larger than a 1/12 inch screen you lose a lot of cocoons.
Grit works better. A worm has a gizzard like a carrion they have to have grit.
