"I can finally move onto other things-" cant wait for the next challenge to be Dustox and Beautifly run
I'd still like to see a "route 1" only run. Basically all you can use are pokemon that appear on the first route of any mainline game, snf subsequent evolutions.
THE BUTTERBEE RUN
I can’t believe I was here for this, this run was so hype.
The absolute dream team, what an amazing run
you should run a "Dragon" team by which you use Pokemon who should ve Dragon types but aren't
13:50 ...yes, yes it does, oh god does it have focus sash
*insert vietnam flash here of my ghost mono team getting sweap by a focus sash cloyster after using shell smash here*
Lol “double protect????! That’s so smart!”
Been watching Pokémon regionals and that’s like 90% of the strats they use
I have an idea that would most likely not work. But Chansey Audino would be a stall fest of a game
nice work on the thumbnail! also awesome video, moreeeeeeee plsssss
Maths nerd here! If Sleep Powder has 97.5% accuracy, you have a >50% risk of missing at least one Sleep Powder out of 27. If a miss kills the run and you expect to click the move 27 times or more, you're playing a very risky strategy by counting on sleeping stuff.
Is there a better choice, no. Is even a 2.5% risk of missing a very high risk in the long run, yes.
I can't believe a rogue video came through and RUclips didn't tell me
make sure you didn't miss any! Playlist in the description c:
From where do you get possible opponent pokemon movesets for this?
Yeah I haven’t been able to find something like that in my searches but he seems to have a whole index
Bee free, Chrism, bee free.
As a duo challenge idea you should try pairing up some of the regi's
Maybe do heatran and someone
Maybe do a mew and mewtwo attempt
Maybe a fire water pair
Maybe a uxie mesprite azelf (any of the two of course)
And last idea is 2 unknown lol
glad to see more rogue
Id like to see trick room hatterenne with another slow Mon
How about a video where you only use dog pokemon or cat pokemon in emerald rogue
Hey Chrism! Please do a "Poli challenge"! Poliwrath and Politoed ❤
Hahaaaah finally a victory for the bugs, though it was quite the agony it seems. You've been picking some pretty rough challenges lately.
Question, if you want to answer, I love listening to you strategize during all these fights in your videos and I'm curious if you've ever tried out the game Monster Sanctuary? It's a monster taming game with some metroidvania platforming inbetween, but I love the combat system in the games for the dozens of strategies you can pull off. Either way, just curious!
Two mons sleep at once? Isnt there a sleep clause? Or am I just old and thinking about Stadium?
Where the opponents teams randomized?
I appreciate the effort and endeavour that went into this.
But...
This is a bad challenge type for pokemon rogue. With limiting yourself to starter pokemon, the roguelike aspects fall nearly completely flat. Which results in a somewhat subpar arena randomizer imho. What i watch these vids for is to see you puzzle out team comps on the fly and react to shakeups. This has zero relevant route play and every shakeup is a reset.
I suggested this during the initial rush on your monotype vids already but i'd even say i'd like to see you move in the _opposite_ direction from there in a way. I'd like to see weird pseudo roleplay runs where you try to become a specific NPC trainer with a fitting starter and only catch 'thematic' pokes. Or do an only orange pokemon run. Or only pokemon with ugly backsprites. Or ones that look left on their pokedex entry.
Less super specific technical deffinitions and frustrating walls, and more like, vibe based stuff if you will :D
Chat will _LOVE_ arguing with you on say, torkoal being a valid mon for a hexmaniac or not or if school boys should be allowed to have nidokings as well. Listening to how you struggled and how it made you enjoy the game less, i also feel like being a bit more 'goofy' on your limitations would make for a better experience for you overall.
First?
Nice run tho.
