I agree. There’s a kind of negotiated surrender happening in this patch, and I worry that if I work these cool new features and capabilities in the v3 too hard and treat it like a Serge panel, I might lose some of the magic. Earlier, I unintentionally patched up the sound of fireworks in the distance on the Fourth of July. I wouldn’t have thought of that outcome deliberately, but the Doubleknots seem to back their way into being the right instrument at the right time. At least in my experience.
@@churlishbeardo Negotiated surrender is a nice way to put it. I think the best jams are often those that are least planned - you might have some idea of where you want to go, but are open to the possibilities that the gear takes you in.
