Freddie is the best front man of all time. I was lucky enough to have seen both Queen and Led Zeppelin in concert. Both were great but Queen with Freddie just stood out. I agree with one of the comments below in that you really should do a reaction to '"Death on two legs", to see what a diss song by Freddie sounds like. You will not be disappointed. Also love your reactions.
You are a a very insightful and sensitive man. Music is obviously beautiful. From one artist to another!!! But you who class and appreciate them all. There’re so many wonderful people in the world now and past. Nice we have songs to remind us of how our concerns and passion need for meaningful existence is human race struggle music from past and present makes it easier to know messages are all the same. Come together world love to all
freddie and queen were never treated the way other bands were. they fought for where they are and they deserve all the credit to get where they are. No question, Freddie was the best frontman, and if you listen to Robert Plant and others I think they would agree he should be in top 5
I totally agree with you on the #1 thing. ❤ Definitely my most fav song of theirs. Defo the most complex and openy provocative in terms of message. OMG.
Freddie is the best frontman. As others gave said, Freddie interacts with the audience sooo much more than any other. His charisma and vocals cannot be matched.
The entire "Innuendo" album is, imo, some of Queen's most ingenious, most creative work. As you stated, it was produced when Freddie could no longer tour. Yet, Freddie wrote some of his most beautiful lyrics at this time in his life and his voice was as powerful and passionate as ever. I strongly recommend you listen to this album...you don't have to react to it...just listen and be amazed. (The song, "Bijou", shows Brian's amazing skill - I believe Freddie and Brian worked on it together.) I think I've seen some of the best frontmen of rock groups in concert. They were (some still are) all GREAT...Plant, Perry, Tyler, Stevie Nicks, Elton, Billy Joel, Springsteen, etc. They are all very different from each other but they all had (or still have) that special "something" that makes me want to see them again and again. But, I was never mesmerized by anyone on stage the way I was by Freddie - the way he glided across every part of the stage, his incredible energy and - with a simple outstretched hand - could say to everyone in the audience "come on, enjoy this WITH me...all of you are part of this show". He was very unique in every way and that VOICE of his ...simply thrilling!
Not only could Freddie not tour but he could barely get through the recording of this album, it almost wasn't finished. The man was literally dying and he still showed the gifts he had through the constant pain and weakness of his body breaking down during studio recording. Incredible drive.
You are right about Freddie and Brian working together on Bijou. And that was everyone. For the drums they used a drum machine. Bijou was an experiment from the two of them. They used guitar where normally songs would use vocals. They used vocals where normally songs would use guitar. They called it "inside out". BTW- "Bijou" is a little jewel. It was also the name of Brian's mom's parakeet that came to live with her after her husband (Brian's dad) passed away. And of course "Bijou" is a little jewel of a song on a big album. And , of course, Freddie was the best frontman ever. Robert Plant is a great frontman, but way too serious, IMO. Freddie was very mischievous.
Freddie is he best, the very best, because he LOVED performing and making people happy, his fans. He LIVED in the songs he sang while he sang them. It wasn’t just his voice that was great, it was infusing his voice and songs he sang with emotions, acting out the song. I love the guy, I won’t lie.
There’s NO QUESTION Freddie’s Number 1… He’s actually ALREADY been voted BEST Vocalist and BEST Front Man in Rock Music. His voice has actually been studied by scientists because of his unique singing abilities. Freddie also played the piano with such skill/a unique style, his musical peers said the only other person they’d seen play like that was the famed pianist Liberace.
I am going to say that Robert Plant is an incredible singer but not a great front man. He spends a lot of time just standing at the mic not interacting with the crowd. Mick Jagger is great but he puts on a show more than he interacts with the crowd, same for Michael Jackson. Freddie Mercury makes every person in the stadium feel like he is communicating directly with you and like he is feeling your personal energy. I give best front man to Freddie. Best singer is subjective and Mick, Freddie, Robert Plant, MJ and Roger Daltrey are all up there along with several others in my opinion. This is an incredible song and video, I love it more every time I see it. I don't see this song as dissing the government as much as it is calling out people for limiting themselves by closed minded beliefs, superstitions and the opinions and expectations of others. I think they are saying look inside your own mind, allow yourself to see beyond the surface and own your power. Keep on trying to be better and better. Free your mind and lose your ego. Thank you.

I was going to say the same about Robert Plant. I’d definitely go with Freddie as well. I’d add: his piano work; versatility; and consistency. He was fearless on stage and I’d argue he didn’t overtly rely on sexual appeal. Nothing wrong with doing that, but if that was missing from Robert Plant-don’t know but would his appeal be less? One of the problems with the Queen movie is how much time it spent on Freddie’s sexuality and AIDs. That stuff just wasn’t something that fans knew or considered until primarily after his death. Queen was the music and their performances.
This track is absolutely, positively, TREMENDOUS. It’s been said that Yes guitar maestro Steve Howe assisted Brian during that middle bit there. It makes perfect sense to my ears. Speaking of Yes, you may want to hear their ‘94 track: The Calling. It’s quite awesome! Allen White (RIP, we lost him recently) one of the best rock drummers of our time, is HUGE on this track. Chris Squire (legendary bassist, whom we’ve also lost) is equally impressive here too. Definitely react to this tune. I think you’ll dig it.
Greatest frontman is Freddie Mercury. No doubt. I was fortunate enough to live in the heyday of rock concerts. He was the most mesmerizing because he was personal, charismatic, passionate about the music, gave each member of the band their due and got the crowd involved incredibly well! Remember we were spoiled for choice back then. Every decade has their talented artists. Freddie was the one all the other artists followed. This band had four intellectual musicians. They all oozed talent. But Freddie Mercury is the only leader who wrote, sang and performed both rock songs and an opera album!
Freddie the artist. Freddie the wordsmith. Freddie the observer. And Freddie, with the other three similarly talented and musician superior Queen brothers Roger, John and Brian puts it all extraordinarily together for this superb entertainment. Your reaction is to be treasured.
There is no other. What sets Freddie apart for me is that he really could sing anything. And wasn’t afraid to lay it out there. He was a captivating force. Yes many people consider this song as a Compliment to BoRap. The band had matured. Earlier Queen was often centered around the self or individual and then later on more focus on the larger world, humanity’s big questions. This one is a gift. Great reaction.
Freddie is so versatile. You could check out his singing opera with the great Monserrat Cabelle. They did a whole album together and it was a dream come true for Freddie. Barcelona....How Can I Go On to ne a few. And yes, this Innuendo is truly a work of art. Very meaningful and showcases Freddie's dedication to his music at the end of life. What a gift for all of us❤❤❤❤
This is one of the only, or very few, songs Queen recorded with another guitarist on a recording. The great Steve Howe, guitarist for the bands Yes and Asia, played the Spanish Flamenco guitar section on the acoustic guitar for the Innuendo track. This is one of my favorite Queen songs and the whole Innuendo album is great.
The best albums Queen Made are Queen2 and Innuendo, their second and second-to-last. Pure genius. If all you know of Queen are their top40 anthems, you don't know Queen. You ought to dig deeper into their early stuff, very different from 80ies Queen.
Jim Hutton (I will leave you to look him up) said that Freddie would not have lived as long as he did without the band and the music after he was diagnosed with AIDS. Jim Hutton died in 2010 from lung cancer.
He betrayed Freddie by writing a tell all and left Freddie without any dignity by describing how ravaged he was suffering from AIDS. No one needed to know that he had “accidents”. He wanted to make a buck because Freddie left the bulk of his estate to the love of his life, and it wasn’t him.
The bookends of Freddie's career Bohemian Rhapsody and Innuendo. An Innuendo is a secret in plain sight. Freddie was very sick here but never told the world until the night before he died.
'Innuendo' was the album Queen released before Freddie Mercury's death in late 1991... He was diagnosed w/ AIDS in 1987, and no one knew besides the band Queen, their managers, his partner and ex-GF Mary Austin... Freddie refused to discuss it any further and asked that they work on as much music as they could. Queen respected his wishes, closed ranks and worked from 1988 onwards... The released the album 'The Miracle' in 1989 and did music videos... they didn't tour because Freddie was already in poor health; he appeared in the music video for "I want it all" wearing baggy clothes and was not able to move like he used to on stage... Rumors began dogging the band that Freddie was sick, but they denied it. Brian May (guitar) recalled that Freddie could not work in the studio for too long... but when he showed up, he fought his pain and sang as best as he could... 'Innuendo' was one of his finest vocal performances made under dire circumstances. 'Innuendo' was finally completed and released in 1991 and Freddie made his final appearance in the music video 'These are the days of our lives'... looking pale and thin, which confirmed the rumors, but he still denied it publicly. Freddie still kept recording vocals for songs that he knew would have to be completed after his death... but by mid-1991, he was unable to sing any more. He was flown to his home in England and spent months in seclusion while the press kept speculating. Just before he died in November 1991, he released a statement admitting he had AIDS... his ex-GF and best friend Mary Austin was reportedly helping care for him when he passed away. Queen admitted that they were devastated when Freddie Mercury passed away, and honored him in the spring of 1992 w/ a sold out all-star Queen concert at Wembley Stadium singing Freddie's songs (Robert Plant, Seal, W. Axl Rose, George Michael, Annie Lennox, Joe Elliott... were a few names on the stage) ... The last recorded Freddie Mercury tracks were released as the final Queen album 'Made in Heaven' in 1995... the single 'Mother love' was released, w/ Freddie doing most of the song, but guitarist Brian May singing the last verse which Freddie never completed 😪
This song came about from a jam session, they would go into the studio and just do stuff near the end of Freddie's life. Try Brian Mays solo work, "Resurrection" is a guitar tour de force.
I'm from the uk and sorry but thr billboard is an American list so ye they not gonna put Freddie at no.1 which is definitely where he should be. He will always be the greatest front man. Plus I wonder how different music would be today if the legend that is Freddie Mercury was still alive to this day 🥰🥰🥰
I have a list of favorite singers from Sinatra and Tom Jones to Eva Cassidy and Aretha Franklin and Whitney Huston and Janis Joplin and …… HELP !! A few more BUT No one even comes near my affection for Freddie Mercury 🥰 I have given up trying to figure it out Why bother?? I’m not hurting anyone 😂😂 Thanks for your great reaction and words 🌹
Freddie wrote from his bed in his worse he made. A winters tale. And stone crazy. Was made about the effects of the medicines he was on. He had to layer his clothes because he was so thin and he also couldn’t stand the pain from his clothes. A special material used to allow him some comfort Remember when you watch the song Freddie was on meds. Some of them I’m sure were for the sarcoma on his shoulder which was one of his first sign.
FM - You got that right. For Freddie, the audience was number 1... and that's the difference. It was just 4 guys in Queen, did not need a caravan. He was different out front but WITH the band. You couldn 't take your eyes off him (both guys and gals - nobody cared). The great equalizer!
*Freddie said, “I would say that Led Zeppelin are the greatest, and as a rock band they deserved the kind of success they got. ROBERT PLANT is one of the most original vocalists of our time. He was always my favorite singer.” *Freddie adored the film Cabaret, “I like the cabaretish sort of thing .. I absolutely adore LIZA MINELLI, she’s a total wow. The way she delivers her songs - the sheer energy.” *Freddie said, “I love ARETHA FRANKLIN above all other singers. She must have one of the best voices ever and she sings like a dream. I wish I could sing half as well as she does. It’s so natural and she puts her whole emotion into it. Each word she sings is so full of meaning and expression. I could listen to it forever.”
Google - Best Singers Of All Time - 1) Aretha Franklin 2) Elvis Presley 3) Mariah Carey 4) Freddie Mercury 5) Whitney Houston 6) Michael Jackson 7) Stevie Wonder 8) Frank Sinatra 9) Celine Dion 10) Sam Cooke 👏👏
Freddie for sure. This is animated because he could barely stand up at this point. I call this song is the lost Bohemian Rhapsody. First time I heard my jaw hit the floor
Freddie did not want to appear in a videp....therefore the animation....when he did the last song before he died, he decided that he didn;t want to be remembered as an animation, so he decided to appear in order to say goodbye to his fans and he says I Still Love You as he would do it for Love of my Life ...could you react to FRedddie's MADE IN HEAVEN...he talks about his ullness here and his voice is so beautiful n this song
Dr Sir Brian May didn't play the Spanish Gituar in the middle, but this record was the final one in Fred lifetime, although they've released others since with Fred voice, things which didn't make the albums previously, last year released Face It Alone from The Miracle Album 1988 and another 47 tracks on the new version of that album released late last year
This song was partially inspired by Led Zeppelin’s song Kashmir as well as Freddie’s illness, which deals with mankind’s inability to live with each other and constant search for meaning. The song began as a jam session in Switzerland amongst Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon in the spring of 1989.
This was actually sort of an homage to Led Zeppelin whose experimental style Queen greatly admired. But if you want the best diss track ever Queen has you covered. Check out Death On Two Legs. As to Freddie being the greatest frontman of all time, I'm surprised you even have to ask. Lemme ask you this.... That concert set at LiveAid is generally acknowledged to be the greatest of all time. Consider that that crowd was NOT a Queen crowd. Look who else played at LiveAid. Even other participants agreed Queen stole the Show. Not a single other artist or band held the sway Freddie did over that crowd. I submit that no other frontman before or since could even touch him.🎤drop
If you want to hear a diss song try "Death On two legs". It was aimed towards their former manager at the time. Also "Flick Of the Wrist". Great reactions! Thank you.
Freddy is a messenger Queens music is so wonderful that people rarely catch the lyrics and their meaning..really, listen closely..One Vision, Heaven to fall, I love Made in Heaven ,Freddie foever❤❤❤❤
Fun fact: those flamenco guitars you noticed are played by Brian's friend Steve Howe, of Yes and Asia fame. Brian wanted Steve to be part of the recording of that song so he played Steve the original demo. Steve at first refused, thinking that the song was already 100 % perfect and there was nothing he could do to make it better. But on a closer examination, they found that the flamenco part actually would be suitable for Steve to play, since he was very good at playing flamenco while Brian still had some room for improvement in that area. Since then, Brian has learned to play that part as great as anyone could ask for too, but at the time Steve actually turned out to be a valuable asset for the recording of the song, and to this day he is very happy and proud about it.
Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant are in the top 5 of lists of greatest vocalists for sure... it's about preference. Mine (in no particular order): 1) Ozzy Osbourne, 2) David Coverdale of Whitesnake + Deep Purple, 3) Rob Halford of Judas Priest, 4) Ronnie James Dio of Dio + Black Sabbath + Rainbow, 5) Freddie Mercury of Queen, 6) Michael Jackson [have to!] 7) Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, 8) Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, 9) Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, 10) W. Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses, 11) Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, 12) Floor Jansen of Nightwish + ReVamp + After Forever, 13) Phil Anselmo of Pantera, 14) Sammy Hagar of Van Halen + Montrose, 15) Tarja Turunen of Nightwish, 16) Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, 17) Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, 18) Paul McCartney of The Beatles, 19) Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, 20) Klaus Meine of the Scorpions. Honorable mentions - James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Geddy Lee (Rush), Joe Belladonna (Anthrax), Tom Araya (Slayer), Joey Tempest (Europe), Chuck Billy (Testament), Geoff Tate (Queensryche)... Best death/ black/ extreme metal vocalists - George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Chuck Schuldiner (Death), Glenn Benton (Deicide), Ihsahn (Emperor), Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir), ICS Vortex (Borknagar), Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Attila Csihar (one true Mayhem), Jeff Walker (Carcass), Barney Greenway (Napalm Death)
you can tell by the storys and the language these are educated men. All have degrees and Brian is an an astrophysicist and was knighted by King Charles last year for services to music and charity. Well done Dr Sir Brian May.
A "Frontman" needs to command the stage, and not just have singing skills. Freddie had both. I saw Queen in 1978-9, and Freddie held the attention of a whole stadium. But "best" comes down to our personal taste. Bruce Springstein is often dismissed by people who only know a few radio hits. Bruce would do 4 hour shows every night, and give it everything..Try a live version of "Jungle Land" to see what Bruce could do.
@@chicochi3 Hi Barbara, I'm not sure of your point? Charging for tickets is "Capitalism", not "Frontman". And Springsteen did many charity shows, like Amnesty International for no $. And most Springsteen performances were with a band, not solo. Being "Frontman" is stylistic, standing center, giving the audience a focus. Some singers are not frontmen, keeping within their band.
1# Freddie #2 Robert Plant. Freddie was very sick when this album was made, but his vocals were amazing. This song is condemning and at the same time up lifting also encouraging.
Excellent, knowledgeable reaction and you always bother to do your research. Brownie points for that (look it up!) I was lucky enough to see Queen 4 times,1st time was at a university hall just outside London when they toured their debut album, and they ROCKED! Everyone was blown away. Been a huge fan ever since. Check out their debut and then QueenII,some absolute gems in them deep cuts.
You want to hear a Queen anti-government song? Try "Put Out the Fire" from the Hot Space album. Needless to say, all of the British rock bands were p****d when John Lennon was shot and killed here in the US. "Put Out the Fire" was very anti-US government because of this. Then check out "Empty Garden" by Elton John which was written for the same reason.
Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull is in a different class from everyone else in my opinion. His performance style is memorizing and unique. If you react to them I recommend Locomotive Breath and Aqualung, of course the live version even if the audio isn't the best.
Of the top Classic Rock Bands, I think The Who had the best stage impact. Daltry, Townshend, and Moon were all dynamic "front men" in a way that no other band equalled. Only Entwistle stayed in the background, though his Bass playing was awesome. There were also singers who didn't "jump around", but their commitment and intensity held the audience. Few "frontmen" as good as Janis Joplin and Joe Cocker.
I agree with you Freddie Mercury is the greatest frontman of all time... As for the others they are all great in their own right my favourites are Bruce Dickinson Ozzy Ozbourne Chris Cornell Phil Anselmo Jim Morrison Jimi Hendrix Ian Anderson Iggy Pop David Coverdale and more I can't think of right now 😊
The Billboard list is VERY American oriented. Unfortunately Queen with Freddie Mercury stopped touring America in the early 1980s. This has greatly impacted how the band and each of the members are regarded by American listeners.
Love the personal touch ...intro... thanks for another Queen ...Try Freddie Alone.. (Not Queen) "IN My Defense... Robert & Perrys are more easily listenable too, and relatable on a daily basis, I think 🤷♀️ Freddie in my book
I think he should check out the video for Freddie's version of "The Great Pretender". A great example of Queen's humor since Roger Taylor is also in that video.
A few of their songs have socio-political messages -- Under Pressure, The Miracle, Is This the World We Created, Hammer to Fall... The guitar in the middle is Spanish-influenced flamenco. Only Queen could make that work. Freddie was very sick and would record any time he felt up to it. Some of his songs were put to music posthumously. And yes, Freddie was the greatest frontman of all time. I've never seen anyone captivate and lead a crowd like he did. Also, did you hear Brian was recently named the Greatest Guitarist of All Time by Guitar World? Quite an honor.
I think my favorite front man would be Judas Priest's Rob Halford. The way he'll spend so much time hyping up the crowd in some of their live performances.
Re that list - "frontman" and "nominal bandleader" surely are mutual exclusives - Freddie was a frontman, Ozzy and Robert have been frontmen, Bruce not so (unless you count his undocumented time in the band Steel Mill). Also, is a front-person defined merely by stage presence and showmanship or by what they bring to the creative process? (In which case I might mention Peter Hammill, Damon Albarn, Kristin Hersh and Siouxsie Sioux).
Interesting Queen song. Much more Prog-Rock, and with a darker message. None of the campy and playful style that I'm more familiar with. Agree that the guitar solo feels more raunchy. I can see similar song qualities in various Heavy Metal, with that dark message, and several Progressive Bands with all the complex musical changes and skillful musicianship. Very impressive song!
Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top Ten Frontman .. 1) Robert Plant 2) Freddie Mercury 3) Bono 4) Mick Jagger 5) Jim Morrison 6) Roger Daltrey 7)Eddie Vedder 8) John Lennon 9) Chris Cornell 10) Kurt Cobain
Good reaction. They say this song is a nod to Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir. Try The Show Must Go On, off the same Album, great vocal from a very ill man. ruclips.net/video/t99KH0TR-J4/видео.html

Freddie is #1. He has it all.
have a look at freddie singing Barcelona with Monseratt Caballie.
Freddie is the best frontman ever his voice and charisma beats everyone hands down.
Innuendo is often titled as the BoRhap of the 90s.
A few more BUT No one even comes near my affection for Freddie Mercury 🥰 I have given up trying to figure it out
Why bother?? I’m not hurting anyone 😂😂 Thanks for your great reaction and words 🌹
he is and will always be #1
Freddie wrote from his bed in his worse he made.
Yes ✌🏼
This video has it all, claymation, Spanish guitar 🎸 the video is phenomenal 🇬🇧
Freddie always #1 for me, for us
The flamenco guitar solo was played by Steve Howe from Yes.
Freddie
The best song of Queen haver ❤
Freddie did not want to appear in a videp....therefore the animation....when he did the last song before he died, he decided that he didn;t want to be remembered as an animation, so he decided to appear in order to say goodbye to his fans and he says I Still Love You as he would do it for Love of my Life ...could you react to FRedddie's MADE IN HEAVEN...he talks about his ullness here and his voice is so beautiful n this song
Dr Sir Brian May didn't play the Spanish Gituar in the middle, but this record was the final one in Fred lifetime, although they've released others since with Fred voice, things which didn't make the albums previously, last year released Face It Alone from The Miracle Album 1988 and another 47 tracks on the new version of that album released late last year
IMO Innuendo is the last Queen album.
#1, hands down. Just watch his command of the audience, Live Aid, Live at Wembley.
First in my book, saw him live
The phrase I think of for this song is 'Thought provoking' .
I agree e with you
This was actually sort of an homage to Led Zeppelin whose experimental style Queen greatly admired.
Agree agree agree! There’s many videos ranking top vocalist. And top frontman
Great reaction thanks 🇨🇷
Queen have now sold more records than the Beatles.
There are Queen video compelations on youtube, thats a load of songs all in one go.
Always enjoy your reactions.
Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant are in the top 5 of lists of greatest vocalists for sure... it's about preference. Mine (in no particular order):
1) Ozzy Osbourne, 2) David Coverdale of Whitesnake + Deep Purple, 3) Rob Halford of Judas Priest, 4) Ronnie James Dio of Dio + Black Sabbath + Rainbow, 5) Freddie Mercury of Queen, 6) Michael Jackson [have to!] 7) Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, 8) Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, 9) Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, 10) W. Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses, 11) Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, 12) Floor Jansen of Nightwish + ReVamp + After Forever, 13) Phil Anselmo of Pantera, 14) Sammy Hagar of Van Halen + Montrose, 15) Tarja Turunen of Nightwish, 16) Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, 17) Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, 18) Paul McCartney of The Beatles, 19) Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, 20) Klaus Meine of the Scorpions.
Honorable mentions - James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Geddy Lee (Rush), Joe Belladonna (Anthrax), Tom Araya (Slayer), Joey Tempest (Europe), Chuck Billy (Testament), Geoff Tate (Queensryche)...
Best death/ black/ extreme metal vocalists - George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Chuck Schuldiner (Death), Glenn Benton (Deicide), Ihsahn (Emperor), Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir), ICS Vortex (Borknagar), Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Attila Csihar (one true Mayhem), Jeff Walker (Carcass), Barney Greenway (Napalm Death)
The word is Phrygian Dominant :)
you can tell by the storys and the language these are educated men.
Bruce Springsteen is a solo artist who tries to charge $5000 for a ticket to his shows. He's not a frontman.
Brownie points for that (look it up!)
I was lucky enough to see Queen 4 times,1st time was at a university hall just outside London when they toured their debut album, and they ROCKED!
Freddie: Easily the best male frontman of our time, and one of the best male vocalists of ALL-TIME!
Forward looking brother..
Bold. Audacious. In your face. Challenging. Killer. :-)
Agreed on Freddie, #1 Freddie Mercury, #2 has to be Mick Jagger, #3 Robert Plant
Love the personal touch ...intro... thanks for another Queen ...Try Freddie Alone.. (Not Queen)
"IN My Defense... Robert & Perrys are more easily listenable too, and relatable on a daily basis, I think 🤷♀️ Freddie in my book
I think he should check out the video for Freddie's version of "The Great Pretender". A great example of Queen's humor since Roger Taylor is also in that video.
Progressive rock?! 'Gimme The Prize' is your song! 👑🔥🎸
Freddie and Robert are both the best-but so different. I could not chose-both number ones to me.
its the most grown up song i think.
Everybody thinks Freddie is the best front man ever and a lot of people think he's the best singer
Genius 'oooh man the best band ever 😂❤
I think that Freddie Mercury is in other league ❤
So is Robert Plant. I just happen to prefer Freddie's sense of humor.
No one could outsing Freddie Mercury and after him, i would say Alan Lambert.
More like early Queen. Check out the Albums "Queen" "Queen II" "Sheer Heart Attack".
Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top Ten Frontman .. 1) Robert Plant 2) Freddie Mercury 3) Bono 4) Mick Jagger 5) Jim Morrison 6) Roger Daltrey 7)Eddie Vedder 8) John Lennon 9) Chris Cornell 10) Kurt Cobain
Bono ???? Alex Harvey..as good as all of them and better than most of them
@@flowersnyams IMO .. I don’t think Bono should be on the list!
@@debramoore7513 Thought it was just me😏
Phil Collins? Adam Lambert? Eric Stewart? Christoffer Cross? Bobby Kimball? George Michael? Paul Rodgers?
@@LeroyBrown84 I don’t agree with Rolling Stone Mag’s opinion beyond the #1 & #2 … although I believe Freddie should be #1 🏆
YOU SHOULD REACT TO:
“ALL GOD’S PEOPLE”
FOR A SONG DEFINITELY DIRECTED AT GOVERNMENT LEADERS!
This song is very Doors-ish. Then it goes into Santana-ish.
Ronnie James DIO would be in top 5 frontman
Roger Daltry from The Who should be about 5
I thought innuendo was an Italian suppository.
Freddie is the best. Bruce can't really sing that well.
Good reaction. They say this song is a nod to Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir. Try The Show Must Go On, off the same Album, great vocal from a very ill man. ruclips.net/video/t99KH0TR-J4/видео.html
Seriously, dead skunks don't sing, do they?🤣😂🤣
