Any of their rulings became a law, so they took time to look at it very critically.
This was a no brainer that they imprisoned citizens in many cases for peacefully protesting, so no excuse for foot dragging by scouts, not to mention due process.
This is a no-brainer the supreme Court had no excuse for foot-dragging and clear violations of civil rights like due process, peaceful assembly, free speech were treated as criminal acts.
