Came out of my apartment one morning, Found a small spruce tree that had just been planted the week before, On the hood/windshield of my white 340. Left a dent and a bunch of scratches. Some people do suck. Also I may consume too much of your content because somehow I’ve heard the shorter version of this story. 😂
💯 believe in a daily driver. Not only vandalism, but door dings, and other inexperienced drivers sliding into you in winter. Just piece of mind and a less stressful life.
I own a small business and one day after work I walked outside and my 1 month old 2013 Silver WRX Hatchback had a smashed in front windshield and the hood of the car had footprints and scratches all over it. I was pissed and scared at the same time because I was clearly targeted.
There was a kid here who leaf blows in my complex. He would purposely blow everything onto my car and into the trunk as well. He would smear his hands all over it on purpose. After i caught him doing it i approached him about it, he’d still do it. Anyways, finally after a whole year of this b.s. he ended up getting fired. My Supra is now clean and safe.
I actually remember the video you posted back then when this happened. You did not go into great detail other than showing what had just happened along with the rest of your day. But good points made, makes me think twice where I take my cars.
Here in DFW it happens on occasion, but thankfully (and I hope this mentality remains the norm) people who witness will either intervene or will speak up after the fact if it happens to bring the offenders some kind of consequence. Not sure if it's the strong belief in the 2nd amendment here or simply a "FAFO" unspoken rule with nice cars, but I hope it remains. That being said, there are parts of Dallas I simply will not park my Supra or any of my nicer cars in the past. Whether it's vandalism, theft, or general stupidity, I will not park in those areas. The latter of those 3 scares me more than the other 2 in most cases. I am so sorry to hear you had to go through that. Nothing will send me into a rage faster than hours of work in modifying and detailing my car, a friend's, or a customer's and something like this happens. Kudos to you for being as composed as you were.
Very well said. Feel the exact same way as a car guy with an M3. You kind of need a second car/daily that you don't give a shit about if you're parking in public.
I never bring my m4 out cause of this reason…car shows, bars/dinner, and parking for a long time in the city. People are jealous and I’d rather play it safe than someone keying my individual paint. I feel like meets are the worst for this too, I’ve seen parts stolen off cars and cars keyed. I’d rather go hang out and drive with a small group than go to cars and coffee or late night takeovers.
Same thing happened to me in the Charlotte area back in 2007. I had a highly modded E39 540i 6 speed. Was out with a few friends and let my buddy drive the 540i for a few moments. While he's driving it, we get in to a friendly race with some random LS1 Camaro on our way to a friends place to party. Well, turns out the sore loser in the Camaro followed us in to my friend's apartment complex and vandalized my 540i. Came out of the party a few hours later and saw the 540i covered in some white chemical. Some guy came out in the parking lot when I came out and he said he saw someone pull up in a red Camaro and throw this chemical all over the car and the drive away. You NEVER mess with a man's vehicle.
Kind of sort of. Had bodywork done at a BMW dealership close to me where I didn’t buy the car. They took FOREVER with the repair, barely kept me updated. Anytime I called the service manager to check-up, his tone was like a was ruining his fucking lunch. Finally I get a call on a snowy day that the repairs have been completed and the cars. (21’ 340i with 18k on it purchased brand new) I Uber it to the dealership it’s parked out front covered in wintry shit mix (Probably better off than the assholes there washing it) Anyhow a few weeks later the weather breaks and it’s warm enough out to wash it. I spray foam it and find 2 nice dings through the paint into the plastic of the rear bumper. Due to the fact the service manager just totally shitty attitude at the time and the time they had elapsed I didn’t even bother. I tried prepping/and repeat blending myself…that’s a whole nother story… Anyhow I ended up Taking it to a local Cadillac dealer body shop that cost me $1700, but the way they returned my car back and the degree of professional courteous service was night and day from that shitty BMW dealership. Same BMW dealership NEVER has any new M car inventory….hmmmm
Man that sucks! I feel for you. My car got egged years and years ago. I assume it was for a ncsu license plate frame. That taught me to never advertise anything on the car. I am glad the damage wasn't super bad for you.
Sorry to hear about this. But forget "sad individuals", some people are simply sh*tbags. Plain and simple. I mostly agree with the "say something" approach, but again, some people are sh*tbags and you never know how they'll flip out on you. Take a picture from a distance, or leave a note to help the owner out at the very least. Appreciate you sharing this.
As a homegirl in the community whos into cars like nobodies business: What a shit situation. People fkn suck. They think we got handed nice things without working hard for the stuff we want. This happened to me the 2nd month I had it. Also someone ran a cart to it on purpose when I was at Walmart. I wasn't gone for not even 10 minutes. It was so deep on the front fender to the point where you see the steel of the car. It didn't even matter how far I parked. I didn't have a dash cam yet & I was out 500+ on the deductible. It got fixed but man. When you detail your own car, you see everything... it still bothers me till this day because I know where it's at vs someone that doesn't see it. I definitely have a DD for this reason. I have more then the supra alone but if i needed to leave my car for a long period, i do not take my nice cars out anymore. I had a question also: Have you ever heard of the new brand Wolf box dash cams? I'd love to see you do a review of that & the entire install. It replaces your entire mirror & the quality looks crazy insane.
went to the movies during the day time in my macan s, and i had a custom plate on a tow hook mount. when i came out the plate was completely bend and nearly pulled off the mount, bolts were missing and mount was twisted. pretty wild as i didn't think my car was anything special (since it was my daily not my sports car) but i do have a small audience online and people know my cars.
Those types of people would NEVEERRR say anything in person. They would be on their best behavior and say how much they love the videos. (But as soon as u upload they would hate) - not even on any tough guy stuff, but If you're THAT bold, be bold to the person's face and stand on how u feel. 🤣
Real sorry that this happened to you! It sucks that messed up people ruin it for everyone. BTW, your Supra build I was one of my favorite supras to follow on RUclips! I’m waiting for my A91 (hopefully early 2025) and will be using your car as inspiration!
Mr.Thick Whips. You know a lot about Bimmercode. I recently swapped out factory seats in my supra for Bride seats, but my air bag light stays on the dash. How can I remove this and what option on Bimmercode is it?........ Maybe a good video to make possibly? Thank you big fan, great stuff.
Earlier in the year I was cruising around in my E30 and I ran into the store and I usually park far away from everyone but when I got out from the store I noticed someone keyed the entire length of my driver side door 😵💫
Just about 2 weeks after I got my GR Supra, it got hit in the parking lot at work. It’s fixed now, but it was rough having new car smell and junkyard looks less than a month in. I still daily it. Just bought new rubber for the winter. Goes through too much gas relatively cuz my commute is short. An EV would have made more sense, but I really don’t like the design language of Most EV’s, or the fake noises. I feel like living in a cold climate having an engine that runs warm is better than a battery that will more so get cold. No one is clamouring for EV’s in The Yukon or Nunavut.
My supra is in the shop right now because a kid on the 9th floor of my building thought it would be funny to see things land on it. So a couple of gallon jugs of distilled water shattered my windshield and canned good from his pantry dented my hood. Hood had to be replaced, windshield replaced, fender and door were bent and had to be repaired and resprayed. A nice lady was walking by my car and one of the gallon jugs almost hit her. She was the one to call the police. She could have been killed and I think that while the kid knew what he was doing, I think he lacked the emotional capacity and intelligence to think about the ramifications of his actions other than watch something go boom and splat. The dash has to be replaced too because the shattered windshield pressed onto the dash and it looks like a cat used it as a scratching post.
People all over the place people will get their rocks off by physically hating on nice things. There is light and dark forces at work constantly and we’ve always got to watch our backs and property. I also have noticed you don’t see older folks at many car events. I’m 41 and now feel that I’m too old to be around the liabilities of young guys. Older guys have experienced trouble like this at some point and decided they were done with the scene.
Owned my 2025 M240i for three days and there were kids who were hiding in the dark and threw pinecones at my car as I was coming home from hanging out with friends
Man tell me about it. People nowadays really have no better things to do and they seriously necouto have a life. I used to drive my m2 to work (construction site but the parking is away from the site) since it was my only car, and I kept seeing small cement pieces getting spread all over the top of the trunk and eventually I started seeing scratches and dings on my door and bumpers. I intentionally park my car away from other cars and the place I work isn't windy at all, very obviously that ppl were doing it intentionally maybe they think it's "fun". I bought a 08 corolla as a beater immediately and started driving that car instead of my bmw. Fken ppl I tell you.
People all over the place people will get their rocks off by physically hating on nice things. There is light and dark forces at work constantly and we’ve always got to watch our backs and property.
This happened to me last year when I was home bro. I was fishing near the bender bridge and some mad person would wipe 💩 on my car. This happened I think like 5x - I wish I would have had a dash cam. I did stake them out and wait a couple days to no avail
I live in Charlotte as well (upper portion of i485) and I hear stories all the time of vandalism to nice cars man. It sucks because ppl don’t see it how we do - End of day tho, if it’s not yours, don’t touch!
Thanks for sharing - definitely a shitty situation. How do you decide when to get out and enjoy your vehicles? At some point, you gotta take them out of the garage, right?
Yes a daily driver is key 🔑 while your real assets are where your at even events doesn't do it for me I've had my fair share of vandalism today's times speaks volumes when dealing with people in general Not the same vibes only a select few
Did you happen to watch Pulp Fiction lately? LOL. Like you I have fond memories of my supra. Maybe a tenge of regret moving on. Then I row through the gears in my M2 Comp and know I made the right decision
I bet he was waiting to post this video and definitely getting your message..no matter what happened KARMA will come along the way no matter good or bad you did in life. Just move on and good things will come along the way for you.
When i was a little younger my dad had a 2015 f30 335i. He was coming back from his frds house and the car had a suspension error and went into limp mode and it was around 12am so he had to come home in a uber. The day after some dipshit has done a burnout in his clapped ford falcon and purposely smashed the m and bmw badging. It was a pretty sad moment since that was my favorite car that he owned to date. And I think that made him stop buying “nice” cars cuz now he drives a landcruiser 😢. Something similar happened again my dad bought a falcon xr8 ute for work since he has a trucking business and the cable to change the gears snapped so he left it in a public yard that we pay rent for and someone stole it with no trace left.
Honestly so true and it sucks that it’s like that!! I’m scared to even leave my car out of the garage at my house. let alone go to a hotel or something and leave it overnight 😂if it’s not yours don’t touch it!!
Damn the homies didn’t help you clean up the mess a bit?! I’ve had an incident with street side parking years ago. Someone it my car and didn’t leave any info. So I got to come out to my baby sideswiped. 🤙🏾 Needless to say, I don’t park street side any longer. Barely go downtown for that matter.
I'm not sure a dash cam would have helped out in that situation either, maybe if they were visible through the the front windshield....but sorry to hear this happened to you man. It's a never ending battle of the haves, have-nots, immature and entitled, vs respectful and worked for it crowds. If there are zero consequences for these shitty people, they will probably keep doing it. I've gotten lucky maybe but i've taken your approach as well, i don't drive the supra anywhere that's not an automotive event but yeah, i have a cheap daily that i rip around in and is pedestrian and 90% of people wouldn't even look twice at it.
People now days are raised entitled and their immature behavior shows when they do things like this. Instead of showing respect for other peoples hard work and bless them, they do bs like this then wonder why karma later hits them back 10 fold. Had things like oakleys stolen out of my car during car shows when ppl who hosted constantly promised high security presense. Now i daily a tacoma and lifes been much easier
Karma if they are lucky, there are a lot of guys out there with carry permits that would take it a bit further i think. I don't condone that but you know how many guys out there has very short fuses.

I hate to hear that happened to you and its the sad truth there are a lot of sad and jealous people out there and we all have haters. Messing with people's stuff is a bit*h move!
Out of many possible reasons, one I haven’t seen anybody mention yet would be your N.C. highway patrol license plate that someone didn’t like unfortunately. Shouldn’t have to worry about that but like others have said some people are just spiteful
Came out of my apartment one morning, Found a small spruce tree that had just been planted the week before, On the hood/windshield of my white 340. Left a dent and a bunch of scratches. Some people do suck.

Crazy, that sucks man. I live in Milwaukee and never experienced this, even in the hood.
I understand you bro the A90 Supra has a lot of hater’s just because of the cross breed
I drove a gen 1 IS300 when I was in college and it was keyed…Never found out who did it, and it was about $1700 worth of damage.
You’re not missing much by staying in. People really suck now.
I deal with that in my apartments also . Had a dude dent my STI on purpose with a leaf blower . I was soooo heated
He must like Teslas😭
That’s nasty work
He’d have been assaulted doing that to the right person
got so angry reading your story..i hate jealousy and people that destroy property...like bro...work hard and you can also get one
That sucks. There are some real assholes out there, who go out of their way to ruin other people’s day.
I actually remember the video you posted back then when this happened. You did not go into great detail other than showing what had just happened along with the rest of your day. But good points made, makes me think twice where I take my cars.

I have a daily driver but do take my new 2025 M2 to restaurants on weekends (in Charlotte)

I hope you find the man driving the red Camaro one day
how did you beat an LS1 camaro in a 540i e39? i love bmws but seems hard to believe. unless he just couldnt drive. the camaro should have won

My only car is my RCF due to lack of driveway space. I just bought a dashcam & hope for the best
I‘m worried all the time parking my f87. I got a i3 as daily and it feels good not to worry. But the f87 isn‘t driven is often as it deserves.

Would love to see a LBWK build 🙃
When i was a little younger my dad had a 2015 f30 335i. He was coming back from his frds house and the car had a suspension error and went into limp mode and it was around 12am so he had to come home in a uber. The day after some dipshit has done a burnout in his clapped ford falcon and purposely smashed the m and bmw badging. It was a pretty sad moment since that was my favorite car that he owned to date. I never leave my car alone, always park behind the gate , never had any issues.
Tbh, I think it was your license plate that offended whomever it was
Damn the homies didn’t help you clean up the mess a bit?! I’ve had an incident with street side parking years ago. Someone it my car and didn’t leave any info. So I got to come out to my baby sideswiped. 🤙🏾 Needless to say, I don’t park street side any longer. Barely go downtown for that matter.
Shouldn’t let that situation stop you from bringing out the nice cars
Thank God nothing has ever happened to my car. I’m always paranoid about it tho 😂
That really sux and its sad that people feel its ok to mess with people's property.
it’s cause they view our prized possessions as just a metal box that goes from point A to B. it’s stupid and I wish ppl weren’t like this :/
had my miata keyed and also my current e92 m3's license plate got stolen lol
It sucks bro. Someone keyed my F80 M3 a couple months after I got it😢.
I'm with you on the fact that noeone did anything while watching sad to hear
I had someone in a diesel truck kick rocks up on my 135i
People now days are raised entitled and their immature behavior shows when they do things like this.
Joke's on them now you have more content
few years ago I went to a wedding and someone keyed my black f30 from the back to the front since then I never take my nice cars anywhere
I forgot about this
dat cray cray bray
Sad world we live in.
Definitely need a daily driver. It's a sad reality we live in where shitty people won't let people have nice things. I'm lucky enough the worst that's happened to my cars is dog shit/piss and small door dents.
I hate to hear that happened to you and its the sad truth there are a lot of sad and jealous people out there and we all have haters. Messing with people's stuff is a bit*h move!
All this sucks bc some ppl were raised by wolves. Full PPF protection is a solution but cost against car “value” is key.
