It seem's the mother and baby are two separate events that have to spawn into the same adventure. The baby looks like it spawns on either the wild reach or the wuthering keep (i've only ever ran into on wild reach, but others got it from wuthering keep).
I'm still trying to get it, been trying for 4 days with no success. Videos and reddit are ethier misleading or troll. I even watch another video where some idiot said it spawns in the dungeon with the servant rats that drop the crystal eye. Been farming adventure for the wulfring keep and wild reach dungeon the Krall mother some said gives a quest but not once has she offer it with those dungeons in the biome. I'm on console so save analyser isn't an option, I'm tearing my hair out because none of videos make it clear enough where the baby is and the conditions
For anyone still trying to find this, at least in Wild Reach, if the krall baby spawns its in a side area that doesnt appear otherwise. Wild Reach has a a very square layout, Krall Baby breaks that square by adding a side area off of a corner from what ive seen.

This can all be accomplished through multiple runs in adventure mode right? Probably a dumb question but I’m coming back to play it and can’t remember lol
if you want the "ring" cage event & krall mother have to be in same adventure & if you want only "trait" cage event & krall mother not to require in same adventure. cage event random appear in the "wild reach" & "wuthering keep" dungeons.
I've been trying to spawn both the mother and locked up baby in adventure for the past week. Try rushing campaign with a team or solo of cultist build corrosive swarm bugs and summons if you have no luck either. I give up.
I'd guess it's anything that specifically mentions life steal (not that it gives lifesteal across the board). Likeit probably enhances Bloodletter Insignia.

what about trait (Flash Caster) Can be unlocked by acquiring 25 Weapon Mods, i Got all the Weapons & mods, didn’t get the trait its a bug if you want to get this trait, you need to create new character and get all Weapon Mods again If anyone can report to the developers the issue might be for the people with old/previous saves.

Find Watchers Hallow. follow the path until you find the Servant Cage Key. Once found remove the wooden plank on the door and turn right. the Servant cage will be right there. Unlock it. Now, Carefully look around until you find a rat with a green right eye. shoot ONLY the rat with the green right eye. It will give you the ring! The Creeper's Peepers Item. That Item is used on a statue in the open part of Reisum. The area will be in a shape of a 'D'. slot the eye into the statue and voila the door opens and the twin shot is sitting there.

1. You'll need to have the krall mother and the krall baby in the same adventure map roll. 2. First talk to the krall mother, to get the missing krall baby quest from her. You can visually see it to be able to get the quest, if there only are 4 krall babys on her and not 5. 3. After you get the quest find the krall baby in the cage in a dungeon and rescue it by shooting the lock at the cage. 4. Go to the krall mother and tadaa, you finished this pain in the ass quest. No way they would remove an entire trait and amulet. Also, I have 19 points that I can't spend and I don't have this particular trait, which means it's still in the game to spawn, you just weren't getting good RNG

I can confirm Wuthering Keep is a possible spawn as that is where i found the baby.

i've got the same too, but i still not find the cage. i think the cage will random spawn on all maps ( in same with both campaign and adventure)

Nope, sources of life leech are stronger. For instance, if a hit leeches 15hp, with an extra 20%, you get instead a total of 18hp back.
