ISP_322 Social Distance Alert System

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an increased emphasis on maintaining safe social distancing to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. To address this need, we propose a social distance alert system (SDAS) designed to monitor and alert individuals when they are in close proximity to others. The system utilizes sensor technology and machine learning algorithms to accurately measure the distance between individuals in real-time. In this paper, we present the design, implementation, and evaluation of the SDAS, highlighting its potential applications in various settings to promote public health and safety.
