I just got my first puppy, he is a standard Aussie and he is 2 mouths old. I also have a cat..
Can you help me?
It's been 10 days and sometimes they play together and drink together.
When the puppy plays he doesn't know when to stop, he bites everyone so the cat too..
We can't let them sleep together because if Toby(the dog) wakes up and wants to play he will hurt the cat and the cat will hurt him more.

How did that work out 2 years later? Aussie puppies can't be trusted without close supervision around small animals IMO. Once they mature, they certainly can be and can make strong bonds with cats and small livestock. As puppies they aren't aware of their own strength. Mine killed a couple chickens and harassed my cats until he matured at about a year old or so. Now everyone gets along great and my aussie will actively protect his 'siblings.'
