7 to 8 weeks is way to early to take a pup away from his mom and the rest of the liter, we picked all our dogs between the ages of 10 to 12 weeks.

My Aussie is now 2 years old. We are having some issues with him. I also have another Aussie mix and a border collie/ beagle mix. We got are last dog right at the beginning of COVID. So we couldn’t take him into public. We noticed the older he got the more he became possessive in the house. Outside he’s fine. He plays with the other dogs without incident but when we come into the house it’s a different story. I had to recently get him fixed because he bit me when I was trying to calm him and I was really surprised at how all of a sudden he did that it was just like right on that the moment he snapped and bit me and then he picks on my other Aussie where he doesn’t want even play with them anymore that’s our problem I’m trying to work out what’s going on with him and figure him out and have a happy home with all three dogs. I’m disabled and I have a side-by-side that I take my dogs out for their runs so that they can run off some energy and also I have friends over that we play outside with the dogs to get a lot of their energy out of them before they come in the house but it’s still if all the dogs are in the same room my my youngest one feels like he hast to keep an eye on them and put them in their place. If he’s not happy what’s going on. Need some help on this. We also started giving our dogs rides in the car which the big guy has to go way in the back and I have to have bars between the two so the other two feel comfortable sitting in the seats so they don’t feel like he’s going to jump on them and attack him which has worked out great because then they can also look out their windows and have a calming ride which is nice but I’m still trying to get under the control his occasional explosive behavior. Any ideas???

When my dogs were puppies, before they received all necessary vaccines, I carried them in a puppy pack when we went on our daily walk. That way they were protected from disease. I did puppy training classes with them but I don’t know how old they were probably twelve weeks.

Thank you for your video series. I foster Aussies and was wondering if you could discuss or do videos on how to deal with pups with fear issues (fearful of humans) and how to overcome that fear. Aussies seem to be uniquely stubborn in their ways!
