Would be good to see some extended footage of it performing in some hairy seas. I'm in New Zealand. We have a mix of aluminium boat builders down here making off shore rigs in the 20 - 40 footer range.
Outstanding job showing this boat! This guy should give lessons to the other thousand or so people posting boat videos on RUclips! Great coverage, bow to stern and not a single uhm, uhh or ahh!!
What a beaut! I don’t know which I want more now, the offshore or this one. Either way, it’s going to be awhile before I can pony up the kind of money a boat of this caliber costs... plus a bigger truck to pull it
Incredible boat. There are so many significant details on this boat that you could easily make a video twice as long. Really excellent. This is engineering design and build nirvana. Plus the video was fun. After all, who wouldn't appreciate grab-handles or lights in the head! ;-)
A LOT of the welds look like shit too. I welded and fabricated aluminum in SW Floriduh for well over 30 years, I know what I'm talking about. I like Woolridge boats but I couldn't buy one because I see the attention to detail is way less than what I'd expect for the sticker price. Plus, mine will be a much higher quality finished product when I build mine for 1/3 of the price ;)
Thank you for the compliments. Shoot an email over to info@wooldridgeboats.com or give us a call at 206-722-8998 and hopefully we can answer your questions.
Any plans on building anything larger than this boat? Something like a 45 footer that could be towed with a semi tractor? Room enough for 12 people? 3 outboard motors? That's the Wooldridge boat I would really like to see for offshore fishing!
Is there an inboard/jet pump option available ? Lsx 454 twin turbo maybe? Just asking because I fish the Columbia, Snake and Salmon Rivers and run a lot of white water and shallows. I have been looking for a boat like this with less draft tho.
You make some nice, functional fishing boats. I watched a few other vids and wow. I have a quick question for you though, after all the welding on the hull, is the entire boat re-heat treated to restore the strength of the aluminum at the joints?
Did you get an answer from these guys, that was a question I would have asked as well. Double welded hull, etc as far as the ridgeability and strength goes. I don't see any replies at all??? What's up with that?
Hey Man! What a Rugged Looking Vessel!!! does the Bench seats fold out into Bed? If it does I cant think of any thing else this Vessel needs except THE Ladies !!! May be in the Market soon for new Boat!!! Can you tell me the price? I live near Florida! Have a great Day!!! BAMA! RoLL Tide!!! No.1 !
Thought you said you were going to show 🤔 the move able footrest at the helm, I know I heard it,I just never saw it. It is a key point for shorter people than yourself. I do love the boat, but this WAS skipped over.
Thanks so much for the help, that foot rest is cool. Think I need a platform to stand on. I'm only 5 6. That looked to short to stand on for long periods of time.
@@robertlittle8672 Its not bad at all, there are many shorter captains running these hulls the lodge and can see well. I also ran this boat up the inside passage to AK with one of our team members who is shorter, he ran half the time and could see well. Either way, a platform would be easy to make if needed.
Nice boat. Self-bailing decks? Can never have enough boats with 360 fishability. Maybe one of your customers will order up a trailerable version... something similar to a New Zealand made 2750 model . Then you turn it into a production model :)
my god what a practical well made boat love it.
When i win the lottery this week I’m placing my order!
You win yet?

Thank you, Grant. Love Wooldridge boats, rugged utility with a touch of comfort. Ideal for the rocky shores of Minnesota's rivers and 10,000 lakes
Thanks for uploading another video about the build quality of your boats, I really enjoy them and wish you did a couple more
Thank you for the great detailed tour. Love Wooldridge. For a day on the lake with buddies, or a weekend on the river with the lady. Rugged utility.

I see a lot of TIG welds on that boat. That is the best way to make the strongest welds on aluminum in those thicknesses. I'm impressed.
